@@GRIMHOOD99 I do rax for money which is on average like 20m an hour and it still takes time like if you want a ZGS, Cinderbanes, Full trimmed masterwork, with spear of ahnnihilation and t99 prayers and perk out your gear then that will quickly go into the billions and that means tons of grinding even at the best bosses. This why when you look at RS3 money making series, it is a lot of boss grinding to make that stuff a reality.
A friend you inspired a burnt out osrs ironman to try rs3 ironman, it's actually such a blast. Anybody on the fence, just do it, there's so much interesting content!
I did the same a couple of years ago and got hooked. My advice to anyone is to start a fresh account when trying rs3 out. I would also suggest Ironman but I’m biased about Ironman so you can skip that part if you’d like 😂
You should hotkey the ability "surge" so that you can travel around faster. Don't forget that you can dart across the map quickly in rs3. There's also a potion that lets you do it 6 times in a row, and a codex that lets you do it twice, but you will get those way later on
Soooo much more content and ways to train than OSRS...MTX free xp bonanza makes RS3 pretty lame but RS3 ironman is fricken prime. Best time ive ever had playin RS.

Dovy, keep your doomsayer warnings on for wilderness (don't check the box for 'don't warn me again'). There are new ways to enter Wildy compared to OSRS so you wouldn't want to be caught off guard/lured and lose HCIM

My best advice to you is to start learning what abilities are good, which are bad, and which order to use them in! As well, Tank armor vs DPS armor make a big difference. Stick to armor with a Melee/Mage/Range bonus and it'l go a long way.
loving this new series i always look forward to whats coming next!! theres 2 armor types in rs3 power and tank armor and its almost always better to use power armor so that med drag helm is still better than your current one

Hey dovy, 2 things. 1. You can right click on you ability bar to change the key bind for abilities you wanna active manually. 2. I would highly recommend you use the special attack of the guthix staff manually and way more often. It is legit one of the best abilities in the game.
@A Friend - Remember you have a action bar now. You don't have to click it to cast! So your High-Alch is key bound to "U," simply press "U" then the item you wish to alch. It will save you time with mouse travel. :) - Bump this so he sees. ty.ty.
The rewards for dung are good though? Bonecrusher, Charming Imp, Hebacide, Brawler's blood necklace, and all the scrolls are extremely useful. Also the gold accumulator if you even save up enough tokens for it.
I’m an og rs3 player who switched to osrs after watching people like you and I’m very happy to see you playing rs3 to keep both games and my childhood alive.
The smithable armour is considered "tank" armour as it doesnt give any offensive stats while dragon armour is "power" armour as it does give offensive stats to melee. Tank armour is very underrated compared to power armour in rs3 and tank is really only used on high lvl tank roles at bosses. If you get 10 kills of any boss (mole, kbd, etc) you can unlock the teleport to the war's retreat hub (pvm hub) and its the most common "hub" for irons (its a bank near the teleport too and the teleport is unlimited). Love seeing your progression

unlock anachronia, go to the varrock digsite and on the far east side there is a ship there you take to go to the dino island with cutscene then a mini quest type of deal to eventually get to the base camp, from there follow the instructions and unlock the teleport for there, on Anachronia there is a mini game called "herby werby" its a weekly mini game and by doing it you can unlock youself a herb sack for 200 points (100 max per week unless you got weekly reset tokens), you can also upgrade the herb sack from an additional 200 points as well, so you no longer have to leave herbs sitting on the ground :). P.S loving this series alot dude, keep up the awesome work!
If you don't wanna get the loot beam for every drop you can change the gp value of it in ESC -> Settings -> Gameplay -> Item drops -> loot beams just in case you want it for higher tier drops
Huge tip, Dovydas, during Slayer, use the style that your target is weak against. Otherwise you're dealing something like 1/3 potential damage, even if using a fairly high tier weapon. Such as against Grotworms, if you used crossbows, you'd deal much higher damage. Combat triangle actually plays a role in Rs3 :D
Yo, just a tip, but if you’re going to do dungeoneerring make sure to right click your ring of kinship while inside the dungeon and press “customize”. It’ll let you get amazing perks such as higher accuracy
You should get a clue bag. it holds all your sealed clue scrolls and caskets in one inventory slot. You get it by completing the Desperate Times Quest which has very low/easy requirements.

Hey dovy, just a heads up as well, the prayer necklace you got only works on NORMAL bones, you have to get the better versions to work on bigger bones, such as dragon, the demon horn necklace works on all bones though, as well as ashes that are buried with an ectoplasmator, or manually scattered.
The damage bonus on the dragon med helm will help you more than the bit of extra armour, so it's still good to use that one over orikalkum +3. The more damage you do, the less time things have to kill you :p Generally tank armour is only used when you take too much damage with power armour (i use bandos, a lvl70 power/dps armour over my elder rune +5, a lvl90 tank armour anyday because higher dps =faster kills = more profit and xp, and also less time getting hit)
if you have your high alch on your hotbar with a number or symbol beside it, you can press the corresponding key on your keyboard to do the action and save having to click it with the mouse every time
remember to actually click your guthix special attack, your revulotion does not use it for you. Also the spec has a very high accuracy and deals high damage
I used to spend hours in grotworms, trips can last for as long as you bring high alcs. I guess its different after the mining and smithing rework but you used to be able to make 500k-1.5m per hour just from alcables
I know it late but in lumbridge swamp there a d&d called Nexus. It easy to do solo. It gives out 37,224 exp prayer after that you can't used it anymore but a great place for fast free prayer exp.
You can get an herb bag in rs3. You do a weekly event called Herby Werby on Anachronia. Unless you have a weekly reset token, it takes 2 weeks to get the bag and 2 more weeks to upgrade it. There are other rewards, but at your level may not be worth while to get. The Weekly is a very good source of Herb exp though. Highly recommend it. Also normal dragon is power armor, so your orikalkum helm while having defense isn't quite as good as the D med drop you had.
U should use to boss portal (at drynor village) for bank and u can also restore prayer there and gain hp boost from bonfire. And also I think you should configure your charm g imp so it converts gold and green charm to xp, imo its just waste of time training summoning with them, for example u get like 8k xp for inventory at LVL 80 summoning frm using green charms 🤷♂️
One suggestion related to Slayer, do the minigame called herby werby and get the herb bag, when you kill slayer creatures the bag will collect the herbs for you
In the settings, under loot settings, you can adjust the values required for your loot to have a beam when dropped from mobs. Just in case you're tired of herbs giving you loot beams. :)
if you rly want to power your slayer level, you can do dagannoth kings while on a dagannoth task from chaeldar. u have to make sure you lure rex properly so you don't take damage and have a way to instant tele out if you mess up and get tagged by prime. also smoking kills allows you to get way more slayer points per task

I've always been a strongly osrs fan, even though my childhood rs experience is of dungeoneering. But you're really making me want to check out RS3, if I can find the time between other games... though there's also the question of playing on my main, childhood account for flexing and to do stuff with other people, or as an ironman so I don't have to deal with mtx...
Dovy please unlock 'War's Retreat', it's a free unlimited and instant teleport option that is closer to a bank than Daemonheim so you can leave the ring of kinship out of your inventory. On top of that, it has a prayer/summ restore like the one east to falador lodestone, you can build a bonfire, adrenaline crystals and boss portals later on as well.
It's RS3 baby, people wanna skip the grind and get to the content. I support boosting up the ironman's coins/tokens with elite dungeons, there's so much you can do, why spend days in DG when you can snag a chaotic in 2 hours. Right on.
lookup how to do Broken Home, if you complete it under 37 mins, yo get Asylum surgeon's ring , which is a very OP ring , requires 85 def to wear it tho, just completing it the first time will give you asylums doctors ring which has like 1/3rd the stats of surgeon and only requires level 30 def, its still a good early game ring

There's a weekly dnd that gives you a herb bag from the rs3 version of fossil island
The dragon set in RS3 is power armor, so you get more damage from it. It's basically a level 60 version of Bandos, for you OSRS people out there.
Do your HerbyWerby weeklies and get a herb bag, it carries grimy herbs :)
5 minutes a week for 2 weeks = herb bag, ez pz.
FYI, you don't need to unnote in order to alch.
You can just keep them noted in your inventory.

If you’ve got high alch on your bar you don’t need to move the mouse to click on it, just spam the number and click on item
You can drag items on to the price checker to alch em. Just a quality of life tip!
You can complete Song From The Depth and get Remora's necklace. Which you can use to teleport to the mature grotworm instantly

Those same level "bots" in elite dungeons are actually polypore trainers, they train up the stats to stake and sell the accounts

For you to get more prayer restored through big bones, you need to upgrade the necklace.

The herby werby weekly is sick xp, and gives you a herb bag for slayer.
You can change the value for the golden beam triggering to something higher so the standard drops won't proc it

Put Wild Magic ability to your ability bar, its one of the best abilities for magic!

Dovy please unlock 'War's Retreat', it's a free unlimited and instant teleport option that is closer to a bank than Daemonheim so you can leave the ring of kinship out of your inventory. On top of that, it has a prayer/summ restore like the one east to falador lodestone, you can build a bonfire, adrenaline crystals and boss portals later on as well.
It's RS3 baby, people wanna skip the grind and get to the content. I support boosting up the ironman's coins/tokens with elite dungeons, there's so much you can do, why spend days in DG when you can snag a chaotic in 2 hours. Right on.
You can do a weekly dnd at anachronia to get a herb bag and upgrade it, It can hold shitloads of unnoted grimy herbs
Theres a herb bag from the herby werby minigame which is nice for lower levels. Also smoking kills increaes how many slayer points you get

lookup how to do Broken Home, if you complete it under 37 mins, yo get Asylum surgeon's ring , which is a very OP ring , requires 85 def to wear it tho, just completing it the first time will give you asylums doctors ring which has like 1/3rd the stats of surgeon and only requires level 30 def, its still a good early game ring
