If you think about it,
This crossover is _really_ accurate.
Because America gets all the glory, and fame, like Celestia.
And Canada envies America for that,
And he doesn't get any credit
He's even invisible to the countries.
Like Nightmare Moon was to the ponies
This was my thought process--The reason I made it Canada instead of England; England isn't overshadowed by America. Canada is.

+Karina Ramsey Hetalia is a anime about stereotypical personified countries that are humans and has some stereotypes that are somewhat offensive but twists it in a funny way. Hetalia: Axis Powers is the full name as it sets in World War 2 with the main countries being Italy, Germany, Japan, United States of America, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Soviet Union or Russia, and The People's Republic of China or China. It takes on a brighter, funnier kinda side of World War 2 with idiotic, senseless arguing and exploring into some countries' pasts.
The Two characters in this crossover speedpaint is America or the United States of America and Canada (No official name for Canada in modern day, used to be the Dominion of Canada). It does make sense, I agree with the first person's comment.

...I actually started to cry a little. Wonderful concept and great song choices. Alfred as Celestia and Matthew as Luna...wow. I always liked Luna and Matthew, and felt bad for them both, so this really stabbed me in the feels. Lovely work.
((I like the fact that Canada is Princess (or in this case, Prince) Luna because the reason that Luna was sealed away in the moon. It's kind of relatable to Canada since no one really notices him.))

When I first saw Canada's crown I thought they were sunglasses and thought hey nice shades. When I looked at it again i saw the crown and just went ohh.

I think its good that you used the North American Brothers rather than US UK because Canada is way more fitting for Luna than England. Luna was tired of going unnoticed and so is Canada. It's sad when you think about it. I happen to like both of those characters because I relate to them the most.
I used to love MLP and this is such a great crossover. It is rare for me to find a crossover I love and this is one of the raritys. (no reference intended)
The parts make so much sense.
From the way I see it, Celestia and America shine brighter than their sibling, always getting the attention and such. Celestia and America love their sibling but have trouble expressing their love because of the unwanted attention.
Canada and Luna crave attention and love but don't seem to get any. They don't know how to speak out their problems because of how soft-spoken they usually are.
Luna became a villain.
Canada didn't retaliate against America historically (yet) but he could in the show (and probably has).
England would not make sense if he were Luna, due to the fact that he knows how to make himself noticed and isn't soft spoken.
I can see this with both America and Canada AND Italy and South Italy
As a huge fan of both MLP and Hetalia, i love this! You're quite talented.

i was thinking that this is kind of inaccurate and accurate at the same time because America gets glory, fame, all the good stuff. Canada, on the other hand, is quiet and unnoticed usually invisible. Yet Canada didn't want to become evil and he didn't want everyone to fall under his rule, he ket quiet and stayed unnoticed, i'm not even sure if anyone remembers that Canada is took a part in World War II's Allies. haven't heard anyone notice him in anything •_•
Nein, Wir Sind Die Jäger! Well, in my mind, Luna didn't necessarily WANT to become evil or have people under her rule, it's just in her grief of wanting her hard work to be noticed that she allowed her mind to be taken over and tainted by Nightmare Moon, who was the evil one, and that ended up corrupting Luna. It wasn't necessarily Luna's desire to be evil and rule, more or less the desires of Nightmare Moon that did. I could be wrong, but that's the way I see it.

The concept was truly amazing and accurate. Matthew doesn't get the fame he deserves, like Luna really.
Alfred is so much like Celestia, he gets all the fame and glory and even forgets he has a brother sometimes.
Plus, the art is simply amazing. How do you even put that much detail into your drawings? :3

America is Celestia and Canada Luna, correct? If so, that makes freaking perfect sence, as America is much like Celestia, always looking to protect what ever they are protecting as a whole, and has a very fun side, and Canada is much like Luna, quiet and reserved, though very kind and personal if you give them a chance. I support this ^^

Canada is America's brother and Iggy was the one that took care of Alfred.
I don't mean to diss anyone when I say this but most of the comments I've seen (I haven't scrolled through all of them) either people don't get, haven't watched Mlp or Hetalia. Again I don't mean to offend anyone it's just an observation.

So pretty♡ I wish I can be like you one day because I'm a beginner artist so my shading isn't that good. I love your art style and idea! Keep doing artistic stuff! (I'm late I know yeet)
One sign of a great creator is to always have a drive to get better and better! One thing that may help with shading is just to study how shadows work in various pictures with strong lighting. I recommend real life photos of course but trust me when I say that I know how dull that can be, haha. But even if you look at enough drawn tutorials or stylized art, you can eventually get a feel for how shadows tend to work.
We all start as beginners. If you never give up, you can only improve!

Well, there are two tools to do that with. You could use the watercolour tool, which will create a bit more of a painterly look with strokes. The other tool is the blur tool, which is in your tool bank, just somewhat hidden. You have to scroll down a bit to see it. I hope this helps! c:

Why would've England been a better choice as Luna? I rather liked Canada as the lost, lonely, unnoticed sister.

+JayLynn Royce Think of the fanfiction a of the two fandoms you think of. Combine them together, paint a scenario and get two characters to replace the other fandom's two characters and boom! Crossover

+JayLynn Royce yeah, but basically just get somewhat comfortable in your new fandom. Get somewhat a baseline, a foundation of your art. Get a idea like start with your new favorite character, what do you think of your character's doing when you're off suffering through school? Would be he/she be sleeping away or working or eating breakfast, taking a jog? Let your mind wander off, what does your favorite character have in common with another character from a different character. Draw them starting a conversation about that particular thing, it's good if you have two character in their canon form first. Let your mind wander off more so if that character like for example like I just got into the Avengers fandom and my favorite character is like Hawkeye and I like Percy Jackson and the Olympians and I recently left it. So Artemis and Hawkeye like archery, right? What about Hawkeye replacing Artemis or maybe the rest of the Avengers in a Greek Gods scenario like they are the Greek Gods.

+spoopy cubes It's not male Luna--it's a crossover between MLP and Hetalia, with a character from Hetalia in Luna's role; that character has blonde hair, thus the hair colour. If I did just male Luna, then yes, I would've used black hair.

Plus, Canada your crown is upside down...
1. Luna was Celestia's younger sister, while Canada is America's (technically older what whatever) younger brother. Luna was overshadowed by her sister, much like Canada. Japan is no way overshadowed, therefore he does not fit the role as well.
2. They're dressed as Celestia/Luna because the artist wanted to, nothing more, nothing said.
3. Canada's crown isn't upside down, it's a design.
Pika Gurl well, actually Canada didn't become independent until July 1st in the late 1940's or the 1950's. so Mattie is technically the younger one.
