I’m so confused as to why people single out Beyoncé fans. When let’s be real, sports fans and rap artist fans are more violent and rude. Try talking shit about a sports team in their hometown and end up being knocked out. Try saying nas is lame and jayz is better. Nas fans will cuss you out. I’m confused as to why people thinks Stan culture started or got SO bad with the beyhive. Did y’all not see how Michael Jackson fans were back in the day. Imagine if Twitter was around. They would be horrible. It’s easy to pick on Beyoncé because she doesn’t respond to anything. The only people online defending her against hate is her fans. People act like Beyoncé doesn’t get hate and she has since she came out in 1997.
I'm old enough to remember the Beehive being born out a reaction to the unstable hate Beyonce used to get for no reason. It's crazy she had a hate website before she had a fanzine. I remember being on the blogs and forums (primarily the Black ones) defending Beyonce when I was in middle school. They would go low in their attack of Beyonce and the Beyonce Stans (as we were derogatorily referred to back then) would go lower. Being a Beyonce fan at an early age really taught me that, no matter what, people will believe what they want about you if they hate you enough.
Based off interactions on twitter, her fanbase is pretty chill but you have those who do the most 😂. Aside from the greats like Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, and Tina Turner, have we really seen a black female artist on this level? While I do feel like some people try to live vicariously through Beyoncè, I think it’s the fact that a black woman is at the top of the industry and when I say top, I mean the top lol. Anything Beyonce says or does, it inspires something to be said or done. You can compare it to Michael Jackson as he too was a powerful force in music. I admire Beyoncès artistry and her impact cannot be denied.

i was part of the "cult" at one time in my life, but i got older and decided to shelf that energy. she's still talented, beautiful and THAT girl, but it's not the life for me in my old age. lol. this was an amazing video! the editing was everything.
