THANK YOU❗️🗣️📌 and I feel like it’s getting worse and worse, in a world where everyone hates us we don’t even like each other or stick together🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ when are we as a community going to get it together.
@Outthebox96 she's not. You lot will find anything to hate about anyone who doesn't do what you Americans do and you all call that " American culture" If you want to see culture go to the 54 countries, if Africa you will see culture.
All this takes away from Tyla's speech is that African Music is more than Afro beats and Amapiano!!! Her not wanting to hold the award is not the issue. Halle was supposed to hold the card just like any other presenter girl does, plus so many aritsts have done this Cardi, Olivia, MJ, Nicki, Rihanna etc...smh All the things going on in the world and this is the topic?
So you’re mad about Halle not wanting to hold a .01 ounce card. But you want Halle, The Little Mermaid, to hold Tylas award. When Halle been in the game longer and Halle can sing better, act and dance.
@InspirationalSpaceship I just said this takes away from Tylas's speech, which is the most important part, and the only thing you care about is a card. Go outside and touch grass. Has nothing to do with Halle status. Everyone who comes to present awards holds the card and then steps back, and the winner holds the award, and occasionally, they don't, Hell Chappell put hers on the ground just to read a speech. Cardi shoved her award to Millie Brown, and Olivia gave her award to someone else and so many other artists have done the same. Go find something to be mad about for real! Also, it's a known fact that artists hold replicas to take pictures with that are lighter than original after the show, there are real-world problems, and you're talking about the Little Mermaid....smh
I felt like I was the only one who thought the Tyla thing was blown out of proportion, I think she’s introverted and social awkward lol. I feel like people are mad that’s she’s being honest about being biracial instead of lying and saying she’s just black to fit in . That tweet about her came off as bullying to me . I think Nicki Minaj went very hard for Wayne . I do think she has other problems with Jay Z so I understand but I’ve never seen Wayne stand up for her or go this hard for her so it comes off a little as male worship. Your mentor has never gone to war for you and stood up to Jay-Z on your behalf even for Drake. I think Diddy is getting his Karma and we need to stop going to war for his grown children and ignoring the actual victims.
I saw tyla as being over stimulated. She wasn't paying attention/didn't realize halle was giving her the envelope, then at the very last moment she realized halle was giving her the envelope and was going to get it, but halle left.
I think Tyla saw the envelope from the beginning. But the award was already heavy and she wanted to give a good speech. She did not want to have to worry about holding or dropping all of that stuff.
1. Kendrick earned this opportunity and he doesn’t have to share it with anybody. Nicki only “spoke up” for Wayne as a way to take a jab at Jay-Z because she doesn’t like him. You can tell she wanted to find a reason to go off on him & she took the opportunity. Master P, Birdman, Boosie & Hurricane Chris only chimed in for clout and probably would have expected to share the stage with Wayne, had he been chosen to perform 🙄, they just using that man as another way to get exposure. Wayne was noticeably quiet the whole time and when he addressed it, he did it with grace, which speaks volumes and exposed the other rappers for being entitled, petty and attention-seeking. Wayne & Jay have a rocky past, but they do have respect for each other. 2. Chile 😂… 3. Tyla not wanting to hold her award had nothing to do with being an “uppity African”, but it did come off as her being pretentious, not paying attention and not having media training. Armon Wiggins is ignorant and often speaks impulsively and without context 🤦🏽♀️. He also needs media training or his outbursts will ruin his career. 3.1 When Tyla was on the Breakfast Club and Charlemagne asked her to explain her identity as being colored, she froze & looked back at her management team 🤦🏽♀️. I wish she would have simply stood her ground and said “no”. Because 1). It was a cringe example of her not having media training 🥴… and 2) Because I’m tired of Black Americans not understanding that other people of African descent don’t identify as black in the same context as we do (ex: South Africans “Colored”, Haitians “Zoes” / “Zoe Pound”, Spanish / Latin roots “Afro-Latino”). Also, Black Americans usually identify with their race first then nationality, while other people of African descent do the opposite, nation then their race. I just wish the Black community would do more research instead of assuming people of the African Diaspora label themselves the same way as we do and get mad when they don’t…that itself is “uppity” & “entitled”.
You said a whole lot of EVERYTHING because this is the issue I have with Tyla. Girl has no media training and ends up in situations like these, especially considering the black community doesn't really like her compared to other communities.
1. I think Wayne making that video was unnecessary, then Nicki talking about God and everything is so hilarious like gurl👀 2. Tyla has been getting hate for a while, I think it stems from the fact that she identifies as colored.
i also think its cause of all this anti immigrant rhetoric going on in the US. Tyla seems to have been made the face of the ungrateful African immigrant
@@devanshepard9118 which is hilarious since shes barely african if we're being honest, even culturally, just bc shes from south africa does not make her african, if that's the case then elon musk would be considered african american
@@YoungHotEbony142 everyone in Africa is black . I believe Tyla family has been in Africa for generations as thats how most colored people linages are cause its a mix of zulu, indian, dutch, and Mozambique. Thats why pple saying she should just say she is biracial sound dumb cause her parents are not different races they too are colored. Elon musk(who i cant stand) is african as well as Charlize Thereon. they are just not black. African does not equal black if that made sense
What’s funny is the fact that nobody had a problem with Olivia Rodrigo asking someone to hold her award the same night, because it was too heavy🤦🏾♀️ Nobody lost sleep, the internet did not go into a frenzy. Selective outrage 🤔
well if you looked closely at the video, olivia didn’t ask anyone to hold it. she just exclaimed it was heavy, and then someone off-screen took it from her
Ever since black Americans voice their issues with the whole Tyla coloured situation, it started a diaspora war between BA’s and South Africans on social media. Due to the discourse anything that Tyla does that not up to America standards is getting heavily criticized.
thing is the stuff pple critisize her for other american artist have done. I mean olivia rodrigo last year asked someone to hold her award so why the outrage at tyla and olivia.
I still like her. The terms are just different over there. They say colored when they’re mixed with black and we in USA say black or mulatto for old school terms. We also say mixed. She doesn’t know these things but her whole looking at her managers when asked questions is lame… she comes off as a snob but also seems like a nice girl who just wants to make music and she’s had an incredible year
@@PEIALEXANDER I mean she’s being criticized right now for simply asking someone to hold her award so she could make a speech, so I see why most celebrities have a team that helps control their image
Honestly South Africans deserve it 😭 what BA said about Tyla is mad light y’all should’ve seen what they said about a half south Africa/ Nigerian beauty contestant over a WHITE woman.
calling her an entitled uppity African is crazy. It honestly wasn't a big deal. everyone else made it weird. I agree about the media training. they don't do it anymore. She is not an uppity African,
This lil wayne situation is pure entitlement.. Just because u used to be somebody doesn't mean you'll always be... Lil Wayne had an impact on a whole generation But he still needs to put on the work You can be Dr DRE but if you ain't ready you ain't ready and you won't get the job As it should be
As a South African I really was quite offended by the uppity African comment. Like what the hell is an uppity African? She’s supposed to get on her knees and beg for your acceptance? It’s sickening that a BA described an African person like that. Privileged much!?
Yes, that’s what she’s supposed to do It’s like when I saw someone saying that ‘America gave Shatta Wale an opportunity’, with that Beyoncé collaboration Gave him an opportunity? 😂😂 That lady chose him because he’s one of the hottest and best African artists to ever do it, please! Some people need to feel like they’re above others to feel good about themselves, I guess
As an person from the black diaspora myself i am appalled by this comment. Uppity African ???????? the girl has done nothing to noone but everyone's looking for an excuse to eat her up for whut ? i noticed this happens alot when non american particularly black artists try to break through in the american market, it's sad that us black people mirror the exact behaviour we are offended by. this should be an opportunity to learn about the diaspora instead of dividing ourselves..... it's very sad. also Africa is a continent with 54 countries not one big country. same thing when she is trying to explain that Amapiano is not Afro Beats. it's just because everyone sees Africa as one non varied country. like no .....
I'm guessing because she needs to humble herself. She acting like she's Beyonce or a well known artist. All she does is make generic music that all sounds the same. But she wants a chaperone to hold something that she held perfectly fine with one hand while taking a picture.
@@Paige-sh3sz what customs specifically should they be observing? One drop ruling themselves to appease others..? Is that the etiquette they need to be following? It’s a custom to misidentify people, or…
As far as the Tyla situation, I pretty much agree with what you said. I don’t think the whole situation was that big of a deal, but her asking anyone to hold the award and not being more friendly to the presenters comes off a way..at least in my opinion. However when it comes to the diaspora wars, I honestly feel like Tyla’s fans have made it worse. It seems like any time an American expresses dislike of Tyla her fans are all in the comments saying “the world doesn’t revolve around America” or “you americans are just jealous” or just “you americans..and so forth”. Like literally just check comments on past videos during the coloured convo. And the comments will be like this even if no one mentions a cultural difference. Idk other nationalities are so comfortable with speaking down on Balck Americans and the second ONE American says something bad it’s a huge deal. But that’s just my take🤷🏾♀️

Every little thing Tyla does will be scrutinized.. I definitely feel like she deserves grace. She isn’t from here & was catapulted into a life that she has to look to others to navigate. Hopefully she gets better people around her
i hate to break it to you but your type of african is not the same as tyla's type of "african" just how a moroccan person is also a different type of "african". i suggest you save your breath
Isn't "Water" an Amapiano song? It's very convenient that a racially ambiguous African is winning in Afrobeats categories over other artists like Tems and Ayra Starr. Water was a smash hit! But it's not Afrobeats.
Because she's an industry plant. Also, that has been clarified already and even Tyla's speech spoke about African music being way more than amapiano and afrobeats.
Omg Chioma, this look? 😻 The hairstyle, the beat! Even the pink shade you’re wearing! This is by far my fav look of yours! It’s so ✨girlie✨ and I’m obsessed!
i seen a video of Olivia Rodrigo asking for someone to hold her award because it was too heavy and nobody said anythin about it. i feel like people are just targeting Tyla at this point because they dont want to like her.
Tyler didnt do nothing that justifies this hate its fire jealousy and the Usher situation was wack she has a right to have boundaries Usher is old enough to be her father he shouldn't have tried to dance on her like that
I’m not mad at Tyla for embracing the uppity label. Black folks have literally been complaining about being called DEI and black jobs, then flipping it as some term of endearment shyt. Black people really calling other black people uppity, of all names. We lost out here 🤦🏿♂️
@@thobileluthulifrankers7612 you’re right. I will say that much of the dislike of her stems from her not identifying as black when asked about it on the breakfast club. And uppity is often a word weaponized against black people.
Fans taking pictures with P diddy knowing what's out there about him is CRAZY!! Him coming back to New york was not him "cooperating," he knew he was guilty and couldn't deny those charges with all that evidence. 😂🤦🏾♀️
Chioma, this is why I love your channel. When you made the point of Tyla. Did the black community take her in or did she use us? And I can't think of any point in which she used the Black community to propel herself. I've seen so many different interpretations of Tyla and the VMAs that I'm tired of it. There's a whole election going on and Black people arguing whether Tyla is uppity. Maybe she just ain't wanna hold the award 🤔 maybe she wanted someone else to hold. Maybe she didn't want to put it on the ground. Maybe maybe maybe
i totally understand why tyla did that as someone who cant hold that heavy of things. doing so on national tv and potentially dropping it or struggling to hold it would be so embarrassing
I think it’s a combination of things. She’s young and beautiful for one so it could be some jealousy, also she doesn’t claim to be black and that bothers black Americans so much for some reason. I’m black American and don’t get it. Also some people harp on the industry plant thing and think she is undeserving of her success. Not me though
Tyla had no problem holding the award multiple different ways immediately afterwards, backstage to take pics, that’s interesting. Idk how to feel about Tyla tho, I like her music but idk she came from no where, barely worked before blowing up so that’s also interesting.
came out of nowhere? Barely worked? Lol for real. I've seen that girl on my tv since 2019 trying to hustle her way around this music thing. I don't listen to her music but even the girls (south african influencers) in her videos confirmed how she sometimes had to run around for a music video just to prove her parents wrong regarding a career in music. You may not have known but EVERYTHING happens in God's time. And now God WANTS her to be seen. But don't say she came out of nowhere because even I that don't listen to her remembered her face when she went viral due to her working hard on and off the internet. So it was her time NOW to blow up for the world. God knows best. And she's still gonna blow up. God has BIG plans for this girl. I've had dreams about her success and it's gonna cause extreme chest pains. This is not the end of her riling the internet up with just her PRESENCE alone.
Story 1...I DONT FEEL BAD FOR DIDDY Story 2..love Wayne boots down, but i don't think hes 15 minute straight performance worthy. Great hits great classics, but for real what songs can he do that's clean enough for superbowl... Story 2...NICKI is self serving. She thought if wayne got it she would perform too. She legit sabotage Kendricks moment
She did sabotage his moment. Had someone done that to her, we’d be hearing Station Head lectures in her ‘round the campfire whispering’, about how people try to bring her down, but guess it’s alright to do that to Kendrick 😒
To get this out of the way, even in South Africa, being biracial does not equal coloured. It is not just your race but the culture u come from, u can be a biracial coloured but biracial does automatically mean coloured. A good example is Trevor Noah, he's actually biracial, parents of two different races and ethnicities. He's not coloured cus neither of his parents are coloured, and he would identify with being black cus he only grew up with his mother. Normally the child takes the father's culture(or tribe to better contextualise), not always but it's your parent's ethnicity that will be ur own. Coloured as said is not just a race but a whole ethnicity( a culture) and there isn't a specific look cus a coloured person can look like anyone. Side note, African Americans share so many parallels with coloured people. Y'all would be surprised.
@@Asheematay Glad it helped you out. I know it can be a bit harder for those who don't live in the country or never really got some exposure to the people here on why really it's a whole group. 😭✋🏾 Our definition of black is very strict here.

The Tyla “problem “ is her team is DESPERATELY trying to capitalize off of the missing and longing for Rihanna (the musician ) and are trying to position her as a “placeholder “ of sorts. Rihanna is a BLACK WOMAN who proudly stands in her blackness so it’s odd to try to position someone who’s made it a point to let us know that she not like us ( no pun intended 😂) as someone who indeed IS like us 🤷🏾♀️ Also WHYYYYY is Tyla in the afrobeats categories when she doesn’t make that type of music again occupying space because the teams knows that ambiguous girls will be propped up rather than black unambiguous girls like Ayra Starr💯 Lastly she’s getting TONS of awards when she’s only had one Tik Tok hit and an canceled tour💀 a black woman could NOT cancel an entire tour and go unscathed let alone rack up awards season for a musical genre they’re not even apart of💯💯💯
@@rosietales She is marketed to everyone. This is just the Black American main character syndrome that makes them feel like she is trying to market herself only to them. Next month, she will perform in South Africa with Usher, and she will be the first African artist to perform for Victoria's Secret. This girl is booked and busy!
Someone needs to accompany Tyla when she wins an award so they can hold it for her knowing that she can't hold them because they're so heavy. That's on her team. They messed up on that one
I think the Tyla situation was definitely a reach as well, the award literally looks heavy!! I do think that she should’ve addressed the race issue though. As an artist trying to break into the American market and make music that is consumed by majority black Americans i think it was a bit insensitive to not do proper research and at least acknowledge the history behind the word colored. She doesn’t have to identify as something she doesn’t feel she is of course but at least acknowledging the market she’s reaching would’ve done way less damage.
I agree.. She isn't blk and I'm not sure why blk Americans care if she identify as blk or not?? Its weird!! But good luck with your dreams and don't let any of this cra cra stuff hold you back!!
Lol That's what happens when a certain demographic think an artist is there to reach them. Tyla seems more mainstream to me. She's been embraced more by other cultures than that of black americans. She said if they're not comfortable calling her Coloured, they can call her Black. That's as far as it goes, she's not finna do a while history lesson on black ppl in the US.
imma keep it real some of the stuff people get mad at tyla for seems weird especially when there are other artist who do the same thing or much worse but pple go in on tyla. i think becaus eof all this antiimmigrant mess going on in the US pple have just dragged tyla into all sorts of cultural debates
I disagree with your statements towards the end on Tyla. As someone who has worked in travel, it is your duty to learn customs and the culture of the place you’re going to visit especially if you’re living there. I don’t agree that she’s not expected to learn something about black American culture if she’s going to be profiting from our dollars and exposure. No. I can’t go to Mexico and use racial slurs just because i don’t find them offensive where I’m from. Very f*** ignorant ppl keep spewing this. This is exactly how Americans end up in jail doing stuff in other countries and then crying tears because they don’t understand the culture and laws there.
Imagine going somewhere else and expecting the locals to not say anything about certain behavior. Like Japan banned tourist from certain parts because some ppl deadass dont know how to act or dont bother to learn the culture
I love me some Nicki and I love when she defends herself, but sometimes less is more. I love Kendrick too and I’m excited to see him perform, my fan bug bit me late lol because I became a fan around TPAB. But Kendrick deserves all of his accolades, he’s had a phenomenal year.

It would have been worse at the Superbowl. They were right choosing Kendrick but K-dot might bring him out as a surprise.
Doubt it. Wayne wouldn’t betray Drake like that. Wayne is definitely one of the real ninjas left in the industry. He is loyal to others who aren’t deserving when he should be loyal to himself.
ALSO there are some Africans that do LOOK DOWN ON AMERICAN BLACK PPL, vice versa!! Not saying it's what happened with Tyla, but ppl don't get triggered for no reason!! There's certain undertones !! Tyla being mixed/colored would be seen above Halle who is UNAMBIGUOUS black woman....mixed ppl historically in the United States have been treated better!!! It's ALOT to breakdown!! Tyla is being pushed above fully black Africans.... there's so much to unpack!!!
You’re projecting you’re own sh*t onto tyla. This has nothing to do what happened. How is she being pushed up above African Americans when she represents South African culture?
who's fault is that tyla's phenotype keeps being pushed above unambiguous black women especially within in the black community? i'll answer for you: black people. black people are so obsessed and worship proximity to whiteness you that we've disadvantage ourselves. not me though because i actively stopped supporting black adjacent women who can and do flip flop in and out of blackness and only support. my actual fellow black women a la coco jones, halle and chloe, normani, sza, etc.
All of this. And she made sure to correct everybody that she's "colored"...all I'm saying is apartheid is a LOT more recent than slavery and slavery's effects are still seen in American society. She needs to humble herself imo. Aunt nobody here to wait on you, mama 😘
The American black community needs so much work. The Tyla situation is so weird but at the same time, it’s expected. The U.S black community puts women like Zendaya and Halle Berry on the black woman pedestal, both biracial women. America has a viscous cycle that stemmed from slavery and self hatred is heavily ingrained. Therefore, they see a cute bubbly girl who came from the continent of Africa so the black U.S population found a new woman to put on the pedestal. However Tyla stated that she doesn’t identify that way, as she shouldn’t because if she took a dna test, she would probably be maybe half black let’s be honest. And there’s a such thing as mixed, the “one drop rule” is heavily dripping with racial under and over tones, it’s so outdated. If you have one race in your lineage but you have other things that outweigh or evens another race, you’re mixed. It’s just biology. And because Tyla knows herself and also doesn’t confirm to that US AA culture, she’s being ripped apart. It’s sad but it’s not shocking.
The whole diaspora war thing is so annoying. I don't know what it is, why all of a sudden people are just going in on African people thinking they're mean and stuff. When in reality both sides talk about each other. It's like they're acting like africans just came here and where mean for no reason. growing up in the early 2000s. I remember africans getting made fun of for their accent. They would be called african booty scratcher, heck even if you were african american, but just happened to be dark skinned you would be made fun of and called african. Africans got made fun of SOOOOO much growing up. So I don't get this anger like... both sides talk ish about each other. Is it right? NO.
The truth is, it's not diaspora war, it's black american bullying and being xenophobic toward africain. They did the same to Burna Boy, they did the same to black british actors and they did the same to South Sudanese model. They don't want to be challenged
I think why this is a big issue is because there has been “beef” or miss understood between Black people and Africans…. As an African-American myself I watched Africans say we are lazy, complain too much and we are entitled, when really we are just fighting for equal rights… so we also we have to acknowledge the micro aggression… but also I can agree it can be seen as her having her diva moment, so I can understand the uproar

Her being light skin and darkening her skin for that photoshoot is weird. I am not going to ignore the blatant xenophobia when it comes to Tyla. But people have valid points about her. as a native of Louisiana, I understand why people were a little bit upset that Lil Wayne was not chosen and he is an icon in hip-hop, but people also have to look at the fact that it is a very much what have you done for me lately type of industry and let’s be real. Kendrick Lamar is the more Poppin’ and current artist. i’m not saying that Kendrick Lamar did not deserve his right to perform because he certainly did earn that right however, I do believe Wayne should have been incorporated into the Super Bowl because he is an icon in hip-hop just as Eminem Mary J. Blige 50 Cent and Dre and snoop were honored. Why couldn’t Lil Wayne be honored for his contribution and some of them have not had top 10 hits in a while, but it was the principle of the thing so I could see a bit of the outrage but don’t take that out necessarily on Kendrick Lamar. It’s not Kendrick Lamar decision that he was chosen and he did have a big year so it is a win for hip-hop. I just would have liked to see both of them incorporated into the show, my personal opinion. As for P. Diddy, the chickens have come home to roost.! he has been doing dirt a very long time and probably never thought that he would see any kind of consequences. The the higher you rise, sometimes the harder you fall. As for Tyla, I feel like people had a problem with her ever since her answer about her ethnicity on the breakfast club she is coming from a different culture and she did not give a politically correct answer, and therefore people had a problem with her from then on, so anything she did from that point on there was gonna be a problem. There was nothing wrong with her not holding the award. it is the job of the presenter not necessarily the artist to hold the award. I hope those people commenting had the same energy for white artist who don’t hold their award I smell colorism.
Tyla did nothing wrong imo but I can see how others could perceive her actions due to her behavior and words / what she identifies as. So many performers have performed and headlined in Nola and Lil Wayne doesn’t believe that racism exists so why would anyone want him to headline the Super Bowl? Kendrick would have more of a presence performing and headlining the Super Bowl only because he can resonate with being black. I don’t know 🤷🏽♀️ Honestly, I’m glad Pee Diddy has been arrested but we will see how all of this plays out. Everything sounds like a motion picture movie to me 🍿🍿🍿

But I also don't blame her for claiming exactly what she is, mixed/biracial. Blck Americans need to learn the rest of the world doesn't call every one with one drop blck!!! Blck is blck, you can't call someone with multiple races blck. It literally makes no sense.
My issue with Tyla is that she cannot hold an award that weighs roughly 7.5lbs. girl.....hit them weights lol. 1-2x a week and you'll be good to go, and also, hold your own damn award you busted your ass for. diddy deserve everything coming to him. his appeal was denied as well, jeez. . shocking /s loved seeing you on camera! xo

Nicki Minaj calling lil Wayne young was what did it for me. We talking about the same lil Wayne??? 😂
All this takes away from Tyla's speech is that African Music is more than Afro beats and Amapiano!!! Her not wanting to hold the award is not the issue. Halle was supposed to hold the card just like any other presenter girl does, plus so many aritsts have done this Cardi, Olivia, MJ, Nicki, Rihanna etc...smh
All the things going on in the world and this is the topic?
@@InspirationalSpaceship go stream halles music than...
I saw that too
Exactly
Yup
2. Chile 😂…
THIS ‼️‼️‼️
1. I think Wayne making that video was unnecessary, then Nicki talking about God and everything is so hilarious like gurl👀
2. Tyla has been getting hate for a while, I think it stems from the fact that she identifies as colored.
i also think its cause of all this anti immigrant rhetoric going on in the US. Tyla seems to have been made the face of the ungrateful African immigrant

I still like her. The terms are just different over there. They say colored when they’re mixed with black and we in USA say black or mulatto for old school terms. We also say mixed.

Glad you explained it because I was still confused about the term coloured .

💯💯💯
💯
who's fault is that tyla's phenotype keeps being pushed above unambiguous black women especially within in the black community? i'll answer for you: black people. black people are so obsessed and worship proximity to whiteness you that we've disadvantage ourselves. not me though because i actively stopped supporting black adjacent women who can and do flip flop in and out of blackness and only support. my actual fellow black women a la coco jones, halle and chloe, normani, sza, etc.
All of this. And she made sure to correct everybody that she's "colored"...all I'm saying is apartheid is a LOT more recent than slavery and slavery's effects are still seen in American society. She needs to humble herself imo. Aunt nobody here to wait on you, mama 😘
first of al.....YOU LOOK SOOO PRETTYYY
Tyla innocent 🤷🏾♀️ as a black African American since that matter 😂😂
Girl you look good
üü look soo Pretty in this video - skin looks amazing - hair on point and ii love what you’ve done with your makeup
Stop lying to her😂😂
The whole diaspora war thing is so annoying.
I love how outspoken you are❤❤. Do you breathe while you speak at all😮
I think why this is a big issue is because there has been “beef” or miss understood between Black people and Africans…. As an African-American myself I watched Africans say we are lazy, complain too much and we are entitled, when really we are just fighting for equal rights… so we also we have to acknowledge the micro aggression… but also I can agree it can be seen as her having her diva moment, so I can understand the uproar
@@elexus3396 and they know All this and all the whole staying silent on the colonizers stealing leg and limb from them. But black Americans are the problem? Okay baby 👌🏿🫵🏿
I really love that hairstyle on you! It looks really nice
Chi chi omggg hairstylist here I loveeeee your hair 😍😍😍
Early gang wya? ❤
His lawyers don't even believe the things they are saying 😂😭
You look absolutely gorgeous your hair and makeup fab and I’m loving it🥰 also folks taking pics with Diddy in 2024 is crazy work smh🤦🏽♂️
People mad because Tyla busy loving herself. Weird yes
No this isn’t first Black Americans critique Tyla. I name to two instance. One, her going on the breakfast club and dodging a question about her blackness. Knowing she is going on Black American podcast. Two, her having a photoshoot a she where she had 2 tall dark skin men as the background in her photoshoot. Her being light skin and darkening her skin for that photoshoot is weird. I am not going to ignore the blatant xenophobia when it comes to Tyla. But people have valid points about her. She is multiracial and thin. She benefits from colorism , texturism and desirability 😊
Diddy has been denied bail twice now, I agree with Nicki Minaj, and I agree with everything you said about the TYLA situation they will never make me hate her
He should have paid Cassie off rip. He tried the wrong one. Ps,I'm glad Quincy is not implicated in any of this sh*t.😊😊
Armon is interesting to me because when the whole ice spice thing was going on he had a completely different take 😂😂
Right…🤐 maybe she gets a pass because she’s American lol
@@alkahinat4558 that’s not what I meant. I was mainly talking about the entitlement take
@@jasimenhandy6780 I wasn’t saying that’s what you meant, I agreed with your comment and then made my own separate point.
The queen has spoken 😌
Perfect timing!!!❤
Im ANNOYED ASF that diddy's son are still publicly defending him as if their names aren't in court comments as well... Like Christian AND Justin is literally in the documents the gov released.. that said that he was at parties having relations with underage girls. They need to be in jail too
Again, Tyla couldn’t hold the award with TWO
HANDS. She has a bigger problem than being dragged on the internet. She may need medical attention. Oh! But she did find the strength to hold it afterwards for the photo ops🙄smh. Bless her heart.
Not bless her heart 😂
It's a known fact that artists are given replicas to take pictures with...smh, yall stay mad for no damn reason. Plus where was your energy for Cardi B that gave her award to Millie brown and Olivia Rodrigo that dudnt hold her award? And literally MJ Beyonce, Rihanna, Nicki, Celine, Shakira and so many artists? Keep that same low vibrational energy.
@@ronip_baddiebarbzrihanna5083 youre literally just making shitt up

@@ronip_baddiebarbzrihanna5083 i suggest you take your own advice because you could've been touching grass instead of responding to my comment... love☺
Damn off topic but you look gorgeous af❤
I think the tyla thing is blown out of proportion. She should’ve brought an assistant up with her and that would’ve solved all that. Halle nor Nas X did not have to hold that for her. Her team should’ve scurried up there
Your hair is beautiful 💖
This is what sets creator that actually care for there fans and subscribers from them who don't. Thank you for taking time to give back it means a lot.... I hope we can reach 1m subs you deserve it. And I'm loving seeing women creators go far especially honest strong self made women we need to see more for our youth.... xxxxxxxxxxx I hope everyone has lovely time at meet greets I would love to come but I'm from Britain so I'm a bit far off but looking forward to seeing videos from them xxxxxxxxxx
If it was a older white female celebrity in Halle’s spot instead and the exact same exchange happened ppl would have been complaining about the white woman being racist and thinking they’re too good to assist a young black artist. Etc… ppl on the internet love having something to complain about. That exchange was not that deep.
as a native of Louisiana, I understand why people were a little bit upset that Lil Wayne was not chosen and he is an icon in hip-hop, but people also have to look at the fact that it is a very much what have you done for me lately type of industry and let’s be real.
Ask Tyla how heavy was that Grammy cause she held it with no issue or concern.
I don’t know 🤷🏽♀️
Honestly, I’m glad Pee Diddy has been arrested but we will see how all of this plays out. Everything sounds like a motion picture movie to me 🍿🍿🍿
I guess u neva! met a pretty girl from joburg😂😂
THE FACT THAT ANYBODY WANTS TO TAKE A PIC WITH THAT CLOWN IS WILD
Tha rabbit hole continues to grow deeper and deeper..
Hey Chioma!!!❤
Chioma! The SONG! Push through with the French. I love it. 🌹🎶👑💋
I don't think she needed to hold that award just like nobody cared when Olivia Rodrigo asked someone to hold the same award cause it's heavy. She's tiny and it wasn't that deep.
Ok so should tyla hold her own purse? Or it’s too heavy?? Cry me a river
But she can hold BBC. THE GLOW WORM Will BE OKAY 😂
@@InspirationalSpaceship First of all it's an award not something that u purposely carry that is packed with stuff that u know u can manage. Y not have the same energy for Olivia?? Selective outrage. I would've done the same thing, not bout to hold anything heavy if I can get help.
@@InspirationalSpaceshipdo u know what an award looks like?
Have you ever held one, like ever in life?
EXACTLY CHIOMA! They can’t name one way Tyla has used African American culture to push her career😂. U took the words right out my mouth! They latched onto her because of their own anti blaqness and the minute she proudly identified herself as her culture, they attacked her. That’s the entitlement that needs to be clocked.
Tyla literally held the award with ONE HAND after the show lmaoooo. I don't like her and think she's overrated and pushed on us. But I also don't blame her for claiming exactly what she is, mixed/biracial. Blck Americans need to learn the rest of the world doesn't call every one with one drop blck!!! Blck is blck, you can't call someone with multiple races blck. It literally makes no sense.
It was a replica.
Loved seeing your face this video 🫶🏾
This whole tyla discourse boils down to jealousy tbh💀
Correction, Lil Wayne said he wasn’t mentally prepared for the disappointment. Not mentally prepared to perform.
The only thing i'm stuck on is Tyla being too weak to hold the award lmao. How heavy could it be??? 😂😂😂
My issue with Tyla is that she cannot hold an award that weighs roughly 7.5lbs.
girl.....hit them weights lol. 1-2x a week and you'll be good to go,
and also, hold your own damn award you busted your ass for.
diddy deserve everything coming to him. his appeal was denied as well, jeez. . shocking /s
loved seeing you on camera! xo
