Very cool. I know it's an old video but I like the precision in this. I see a lot of kids drilling holes with a hand drill and not a press, rather than using the mold to line the holes up and then using a drill press. As soon as I saw you do this I thought to myself that I would gladly buy your product because I know it will be fairly consistent, rather than this guessing game that some of these other kids play.

Sweet dude! Glad to see someone using a proper hydrologic press instead of a vise or C clamps. Decks look really nice, have you ever thought to use a sanding template that were to match up with the mold? You could get the shape much more precise. Either way decks look great man, you definitely know what you're doing. Keep up the good work!

What dye do you use I've been looking everywhere and can't find any colored dye that won't warp the wood
Doesn't matter if the vaneer warps because your putting in in a press anyways.

chad what kind of drillbit do you use to countersink. i know its a 1/8 but how does it sand down so well
It's about the speed of your drill bit spinning. The faster it spins, the less likely it's going to rip through and splinter the wood.

Once you get to a certain pressure, a vise grip is always going to produce an uneven press simply due to the way the vise grip is made.

You didn't have to buy that hydraulic press thing just to mold a little fingerboard. A bench vice works fine.

For real man, I still see all of these companies using vise clamps and I'm like *facepalm*, lol. The difference always comes down to paying attention to little details like that, but they definitely make a huge difference in the end result. And I've thought about getting one, but it would just have to be strong enough to endure the disc sander. Plus I've been doing it this way for years now so I've become pretty good at my method, haha.

hey why do you drill that single hole on the bottom? wouldnt it just weaken it?
It's for the kingpin on the bottom of your trucks. Newer TechDecks fixed the problem, but older trucks would have the kingpin sticking out the bottom. So you have to drill the hole so they will lay flush against the deck.

nope, it is a mold from a metal shop. nfb dont have the holes through the top.
Not too sure yet, but really cheap compared to everyone else. Going to have colored wide trucks, different color bearing wheels, bushings, tape, tuning, tools, lol. Completes will be like $35 with bearing wheels and full tuning though, so really cheap.
