Hello there. Is there any chance to fit a nice Sony Audio display into the BMW Z4 (E85 2006 year, without built-in display) - like in your wids? Going to buy that car, should shurely replace stock radio-dvd player with some awesome sony sound system, as the stock one has no screen, no BT, no GPS, no other good features. (almost every owner drills a hole on the top, over the conditioning system to install some ugly display, and i would definately like to get something nice-looking instead

Hello my friend, Do you know what to do so that the radio only turns on when the car is started? I replaced it, but it turns on just by turning the key on and I think that will drain the battery faster. Please can you help me with your opinion.
Most german cars do that. They have the ability to turn on the radio without turning on the car so the battery isn't being spent on the car. Usually they turn themselves off after an hour.

If its not VSS wire related its probably a bad radio.
@@Enfig Turned out I needed to change the reverse wire to the correct one. All perfect!

You just have to do a floating screen or some custom work. Contact me once you get the car.

@@patijua Ohhhh the dimmer wire. It is handled by Can Bus. Our adapter reads the data wire and translates it into something the new radio can read.
