I think you should make a updated tier list talking about the same products, but saying if my line didn't exist, "I would use this in this and that"
You get to voice your opinion, but also you don't irritate/as much hate.
(I'm kind of disappointed in the detail community. y'all trust him all these years with all the sudden now it's changing don't knock it till you try it man!!! I'm excited before you pan!!! and i even sell all the products you talk about.)
Love the channel, but now that you have skin in the game your reviews cannot be taken as independent. You can gain financially based on what you say in a product review. You have made a choice to loose your independence. I will continue to watch you videos but I will take reviews with a large pinch of salt.

He hasn't been independent for a long time. His product reviews are affiliate products, so he gets a cut every time he reviews positively and someone clicks on his link for that product. Bro is more of a salesman than a detailer, and it's been that way for a long time.
Pan. Long time listener but first time commenter. My honest opinion here. I think you should have waited a year to include your products. I ordered the entire line just so you know. However the shipping delays are terrible. I ordered a week ago and not even shipped yet. I would have thought with all the planning that the guys at house of rags would have been ready on Saturday for the influx. They should have had extra staff and been prepared for it. I’m self employed and understand quite a bit. Just my two cents how nobody seemed prepared for the launch even with careful planning. I’m looking forward to trying your products and will be putting your 8 year coat on my week old Jeep rubicon.
Don’t quote me on this but I had to adress this, concerning the shipping days, he mentioned that this was the pre-launch sale, the shipping starts in early October, so you basically got a 10% discount for ordering sooner. As for putting his products first, I don’t think that was a bad choice and people should hate on it, this has always been is opinion and if, in his opinion his products are the best, not including them in this video would not have been an honest review as well. So include them and get hate for being « biased » and not include them and people wonder if the brand really is great if not in the top 3.. in both ways things could look bad for him, so he went the way of listening to his opinion, which is what he has always done.
I also bought his full product line, and my honest opinion on this is that this is a great thing for the industry overall. If his products are the very best, I think that no big brand wants to have the third or second best product, so that way the industry as a whole will grow quite a bit and technology will improve a lot. As a detailer, that is the best thing that could happen for me and everyone watching, to get more efficient, make more money, and have more time to dedicate on other parts of my life. 👍🏻
Agree100% the shipping delays are pathetic, and they charge your card before shipping, no where on site to check or cancel your order, so they charge your card and will ship who knows when. I trust and appreciate pan, have no problem with him ranking clean #1 and can’t wait to use his products just wish he used Amazon or a legit distributor

Pan, you need to tread very very carefully and choose your next moves wisely. Trust me, I understand every point you’re making. I really do. This video is your opinion, it has always been. This is what you feel is right. This is what you think the winners are. “The products are new to you all, but not me.” Opinion, opinion, opinion. Sure. But you need to look at some facts. The comments are overwhelmingly negative. The feedback is devastating. It doesn’t matter how great your products are. The fact is, if you wish to maintain the respect your so painstakingly acquired over many years, it is evident that including your products in this video was the wrong move. If you just waited until next year, these fans wouldn’t be dropping like flies. Your handing of the replies doesn’t isn’t coming off so well either. If people are not happy with ‘Pan’s’ picks simply remove #1 and use #2 as your new number 1 - most of these reviewed products are excellent. I’m pretty sure when I run out of what I have I’ll buy Pan’s stuff.

@@PanTheOrganizer there is no problem with having your opinion, however, the value of your opinion to your viewers has been affected as now you benefit financially by promoting your own and your distributors products. IMO this channel should now just be the CLEAN by Pan channel, where you can promote your own products.
I guess the proof is in the pudding…. Try it first and If ‘Clean’ is not as good as something else you’re using, then fair enough, let him know. However, if ‘Clean’ really is great stuff, then Pan is doing exactly what he has always done and that’s why he’s got so many subscribers who have faith in him 🤗

It's unfortunate the way you are completely dismissing honest subscriber feedback here. I understand your position on your research and the amount of time you have spent on these products, but the optics of the situation aren't good. Maybe your products are actually better, but the reality is a lot of long time subscribers feel a bit let down, and are seem to not really care. Perception is reality, and it doesn't matter what the truth is when people perceive this as biased.
I never dismiss viewer feedback, so don't say things that aren't true. Those who want to voice their opinions can certainly do so, as long as it's respectful. I am also entitled to my opinion however, and these awards have always been my personal opinion. There's no surprise here.
@@PanTheOrganizer The "surprise" is, your products are all over these list and they didn't exist publicly until a week ago. That is what people have an issue with and your replies to their comments come off as smug and uncaring.
To put it in perspective, look at what happened to MKBHD when he released his wallpaper app. The reaction was brutal but look at the way he responded verse the way you are responding. It's your channel you can obviously do whatever you want with it, but it appears a lot of folks will be tuning out now.

Top 3....and first places... for the "Clean by Pan" range and yet we've never seen almost all of them, never had a demo of them, never used them and a tonne of countries cant get it. Not sure about this, in all your videos we see Bilt Hamber and many other companies week in week out and they didnt make the top 3. Then we see right behind your brand in 2nd place....Detail Co!..And who are they for those who don't know....YOUR distributors AND Partners!.....I could count on one hand how many times we have seen you use this brand and still have fingers leftover!The brands you HAVE been in your videos have been around smashing it all year and were nowhere to be seen in the awards...and your brand has been out for what....2 weeks?....Bit naughty this Pan.

You can’t call it a top 2024 product when they haven’t even shipped it out to consumers yet. Hell need to make a video separately without his own products to distinguish accordingly. Bc this is misleading and from a business standpoint, a horrible practice which will lead to disloyal subscribers.

This channel has never been about objective reviews. He has always only shown products that he likes (subjectively) or that he is being paid to show (which always contains a clear disclaimer).

The reason Pan has become so big is because he has credability, good knowledge and people trust his opinion. This award show has damaged that credability quite a bit for me, and it seems like some others. Opinions are a dime a dosen, reputation and credability are all that matter.
No need to watch over an hour of this, not rocket science who will be the “best” when you just released your own brand

I think you should leave your brand out of this. Obviously, you think your products are the best and that is perfectly fine and natural. So if I were you, I would say exactly that - I think my brand is top of the line and is excluded from this ranking. And you should rename it - somethink like "brands worth buying beside my own". And it does not look good having your friends' product in top 3 on almost all categories. Obvious conflict of interest. Still love your channel, just sharing my view with good intention. :)

I would say your business evolved to something different and therefore, I think your content should evolve and adapt also. Your own brand and brand from your business partner being ranked with other brands is simply not credible. Hence, I think you need to rethink this type of content to remain credible and objective. Nevertheless, it is your channel and wish you all the best.

I’m disappointed in you pan… although you said you catered to ensure your products beat out the previous winners. That being said it’s too soon to put your products at the top they have to work there way up. why should I chose your products over geon, diy, carpro, p&s, ect. Your name is simply not enough to get me to buy the products however I will buy them to compare them to what I use in my daily practice as I like to do my own testing with products!
LONG time watcher and follower. 2024 "Best Of" should NOT have included CLEAN, simple as that. I ordered some of the product, patiently waiting...
But to have included it before its even had a public working sample in the marketplace for any REAL length of time for CONSUMERS - is VERY premature - PRE premature - and the optics and bias perception it paints is horrible. Quite disappointing.
A bit of humility probably would have made everything a little better. Your products have been on the market for, hmm, 2 days? And now they're the best products of 2024.
I pinched myself a bit when you released your own products, and everyone praised them to the skies, but I still thought it might muddy the waters a bit when you have your own product and financial interests in mind as well.
Respect for how far you've come, and it's been exciting to follow your journey, but with so many followers comes a responsibility.

Well of course first place for the owner of the brand will go to the products of his own, even if they are crap. Not saying yours are but still. I’m sure dissapointed and judging by the comment section - not only me. So I believe everyone since now will just assume the second place as the first and disregard your products. If it was ment to be a commertial - poor job.
Maybe this was always the business model? Build a trusting fan base based on unbiased reviews then release your own products and say “they’re the best, trust me.”

Personally think you should have waited until next years, Let people use and experience it for themselves before claiming number 1. @@ItsRyan. Matt has recently said that he will not test the products so that him and Pan can remain friends.
@@ItsRyan.Matt doesn't review products. He tries a few occasionally to see if they could replace what is already in his line, but he only sells what he uses and he makes changes very slowly. By his own admission, he doesn't really like detailing, he just enjoys the result. If he's getting the results he wants, he doesn't change anything.
Bruh. What have you done. I’m so disappointed. I was expecting you to keep your products off of this. Especially because you just came out to the public with these products.
I've ordered $200.00 worth of your CLEAN products. (Which have not even shipped yet.) And they may well be the very best on the market. But I honestly think you should have waited until customers have them in hand before awarding yourself BEST in class in every category you have an entry. The optics are horrible for your hard earned reputation.

Pretty bad look to include your own products this early on. A lot of people use these awards to make informed decisions, and you're introducing quite a bit of bias here. Can't reallu trust anything else in this vid.
Congratulations on your own line of car care products! I get your enthusiasm and don't doubt your intentions on creating the best I respect your years of experience and knowledge. But, do you feel viewers can count on your unbiased opinion when you have your own product line? Of course it is your opinion and always has been. Your opinion was on products where I assumed you had no vested interest in its success or failure. How will you approach future videos without basically turning it into an advertisement for your own products?
As others have said, really disappointed you just had all your own products basically sweep the “awards”. Makes you seem less objective in picking the winners.
I have to agree with many of the comments here. I learned alot from Pan over the last year but, unfortunately, his unbiased reviews and opinions appear to be a thing of the past. Congratulations to him for expanding his business but very unfortunate for those of us who looked to him for unbiased advice.
The fact that this video wasn’t taken down and redone with a public apology is beyond me it’s sad to see a good one go over an ego

Oh man - you’re our de facto go-to-guy for unbiased reviews on detailing products. I get that your new line came out on top in the awards (trusting that a bunch of testing went into everything, and that you genuinely believe them to be superior). However, the fact that Detail Co took second across many categories - especially since Carpro has been so hard to beat over the years - and the fact that it’s the distributor brand, has made us feel a little reticent to believe that we still have our ol’ Pan. A genuine congratulations on your line. But Detail Co products seem to have popped up from nowhere in the awards, with not much lengthy understanding of these against Carpro and Bilt Hamber.
I agree with other comments. I enjoy your videos a lot, but I feel like maybe you should consider transitioning from doing reviews to doing tutorials and instructional videos like DIY is doing with their channel.

Yes this is an awards show based on your opinions but seems like Clean & Detail Co. are the cream of the crop even though they haven't even been out for a month. To be affiliated with EC i out he comes after people who dont like what he says & he used DIY & ADS to get his own product & left his former partner JB in the wake. Bad look all around

Pan, I always look forward to your reviews but this was a 2024 rewards clip and these products have had no reviews by you or anyone else for that matter. The detail Co products are in the same category products have been out for a week. The rinseless review for example all year ADS has crushed reviews and now it's relegated to 4th place.
I hope your products live up to the hype or this won't age well.
So your product is #1, and your distributor's brand is almost always in the top 3?
If in my opinion products deserve their spot, that's where they place.

I'm included. The discontent, for me, comes from the fact that, while I believe your opinion is honest, and I believe the products are probably great, your business interest is always going to be the tie-breaker. I would be willing to bet that you believe the 5th best product is good enough to be used, and that if someone asked, "I got 5th best product for free. Should I spend money to buy 1st best product?" you would likely say, "no. I like 1st better, but 5th will definitely get the job done well." In this video, you are limited to three spots, so if it is a toss up between Detail Co and four others, Detail Co is making it on the list.
Personally, I would be happier if you change the format of these awards to include more. Top 5. THIS product is #1. Here's the other top 5 in no particular order. Quickly to avoid a video longer than it already is. Lead up to it with in-detail videos. "if you didn't see my full review of this category for 2024, check it out."

Respectfully many of your replies have come off smug and arrogant. Your subscribers were a major part of getting you where you are today. I have no issues with you thinking your products are the best. You should but listing your affiliates #2 and then dismissing concerns from your supporters when highlighting them can be pretty damaging. Many Influencers or reviewers have chosen this approach before and it has not worked out well. Wishing you the best.

I love your channel! This is a tough video to watch. It places you in a very difficult situation. The conclusion(s) that is reached makes it hard to accept because of the inherent bias. Regardless, I think your products are going to be amazing! I have ordered the entire line, and anxiously waiting for the delivery! As always, love the content you produce!!!!

I know that your products are great. But i think it would have been better for you to do a #1 then a #1(a) for a brand that your not involved with. Just my opinion. Then no one can say anything.

If I had not included my products, people would then have said "How good are your products really if they're not even in the top 3?"

I love your honesty and attention to detail and the way you run your RUclips channel mate, I only wish that you had decided not to run this Best Car Detailing Products 2024 as I find it very hard to believe that your products have basically made a CLEAN sweep of the awards whilst they have only been on the market a couple of weeks compared to some of the top manufacturers who have been in business for decades and are spending tens and hundreds of million dollars on R & D to perfect their products. Sounds very bias but I do wish you well mate!

Yeah, this is a big yikes. I assumed based on your comment it was one or two that were top, but it kept happening and honestly it got pretty funny.
You have been my go-to trusted resource for a couple of years now when it comes to the products I use to detail my car. I'm not a pro detailer but I like to use the best chemicals available and enjoy cleaning my family's cars. However, I have to say I think you made a huge mistake including your product line in your awards. I don't think you're being dishonest- I know you truely believe your products are superior, and you should, and you might be right. BUT, it just has the appearance of a massive bias and conflict of interest. I have only followed your channel for maybe a year and a half and I know I havent watched all of your videos, but I don't recall seeing products by Detail Co. ever featured as great products to use, until this video. Like I said, I do still trust your reviews, but honestly I would have to have my head burried in the sand to not be a little skeptical of the award winners in this video.
I know you’re in a tough position here. You and your close friends all have products now. May be you should divide and conquer here. Two videos where you compare your products only to the products your friends have and another comparing just the rest. Stay away from appearing like cronies. Achieving a million subscribers is a remarkable accomplishment. In today’s day and age, having such a large audience is an invaluable asset. From a business perspective, it makes total sense to create products that align with your audience's interests.
However, I, along with others, find it challenging to accept the assertion that your products are the best, especially when many have not had the opportunity to test them. This disconnect can lead to a loss of audience engagement, particularly in an era where drama often dominates content consumption.
I believe it would be more effective to demonstrate the superiority of your products through comparisons(testing) with competitors. Simply claiming that a product is the best, without evidence, can undermine credibility.

Pan... I look forward to your videos to learn about products as well as detailing techniques and have loved your videos. But I hope you listen to us as your viewers that this is not the way to promote your products as well as your distributors. For 1, like others have said, your and your distributors products just came out. And 2, I have never even seen you demo said products. I know you are excited about what you have created but this is not the way to promote them. If your products really are the "Best".... The products will speak for themselves and others will make videos promoting your products.

A possible solution for next year's awards is to exclude Clean. products, BUT to follow that up with another video where you objectively test your winner vs Clean.. For example, if Gyeon Wetcoat was the winner, do a video testing the durability of Wetcoat vs Clean. ceramic spray side-by-side on a panel.

Just my opinion but including the Clean Brand and awarding it the winner in every category that you have an offering in is just a bad look. They could very well be the best, but it's just a bad look for many different reasons, which all have already been stated in the comments. Pan I agree with the vast majority of comments, but differently. Your response to most perceived negative comments is basically the same: paraphrasing - these awards have always been my opinion, which is true. I understand that when someone makes a product they believe in (if honest and I think you are), that their product is the best. That I can understand. But what seems to make me feel uncomfortable is that your distributors products were basically number 2 in a lot of the categories. New products to an industry aren’t always homeruns. That being said I have bought 4 of your products. I trust your opinions, but will be watching your channel to see if things change and also watching other independent reviewers review your products. This is my opinion and not a negative slight to you. I am confident that the independent reviews will show that your products are good to great.

Although I have confidence your products will be great (I ordered 3 of them), I feel that adding them to a top rewards list that is respected and used my many many people each year is a bad move. If this was next year’s list I would understand, but being that the product isn’t readily available or used by the general public yet, placing them in the list comes off as very biased. It has the same affect as a coach starting his son in the baseball lineup over someone who is better just because it’s his son. We understand this list is your opinion and always has been, but instead of it including products where there is no benefit for you in promoting it, you have money on the line with your own products.
I believe a better move would have been to make your typical top 3, and include at the end that you have a product line in which you believe is better than everything on the lists in their respective categories. This would have made the video come off as unbiased as possible while still promoting your brand. Just because the video is opinionated does not mean it needs to be biased.
Again to reiterate, I love the channel, I have been watching for years and this has been where 90% of my detailing advice has been from, and I also want to congratulate you on achieving this big milestone. I hope in due time that you will be able to find balance between staying true to what got you here, while also running a success business.
Pan, I have been following you for years now and I will continue to but this was the wrong move. As most viewers said, you should have waited until next year to allow your products to get some street credit, it doesn’t matter that they are not new to you, they are to everyone else. And to dismiss products such as DIY spray polish, and Koch Chemie ceramic spray sealant over yours without any time in the game just doesn’t look good. I understand your passion I really do but I can’t agree with this.
The optics aren't great with this. Even if your products are the best (and i hope they are) theres a clear conflict of interest with including your own products (and distributors) in this ranking. I acknowledge that this list is an opinion piece, but please take your audiences expectations and feedback into consideration. The "everyone is entitled to their own opinion" response is really not working well.
You've built up a big following and launched your own brand because of it. Try not to dismiss everyone that was so invested and excited about this content.

This hurts me, Ive been watching for many many years. I always trusted your unbiased opinion. Your unbiased opinion helped me to learn and buy products. Now this is just a marketing channel for your own products. So many youtubers have gone this route and lost credibility, sales and subs.
Especially with your products being so new, can it really be fairly judged ? I understand you want to make sales and promote your product. But this was a horrible mistake, and I can see Im not the only one who feels this way. A true unbiased opinion does not include your own products.

No one is unbiased. Detailing products are probably 50% user impression and how you feel about the brand/branding. His awards are and always have been about his opinion only.
Whole world big company's many chemist, how 2 brands even untested to public yet have the best products u could at least wait a month for your lineup to be shipped and tested.

I always support people’s dreams and endeavours. And I know that the majority of my viewers always support me and I’m grateful for that.
That being said, I am a new products business owners and I have lots to learn. I take notes and will continue to improve, just like I’ll always make sure my products are worthy of my stamp of approval.

One thing I have been curious about - you consistently talk about being positive and don't like to associate with people who cause drama, which I commend. That being said, what are your thoughts on the "perceived" negative comments (videos and podcasts) that both Jamie and Eddie have been a part of in the past? First, after ONR released a video comparing their rinseless wash to another (Absolute?), and then claiming their product to be the best rinseless wash on the market (much like you have been attacked for doing over the past few days btw), Eddie came after them pretty hard. Then when Cerakote made claims their coating would be the best coating ever, they then had issues with V1. Jamie came after them pretty harshly as well (calling them Cherrycoke, etc). Even after the Cerakote CEO came on YOUR channel to admit they made a mistake and outlined how they would rectify the situation, they continued to be targeted. If you have not seen or heard these statements, I challenge you to go listen. I am sure that Eddie and Jamie will try to pass it off as "jokes" and we were "just having fun", but some felt it was simply toxic for no real reason.
So again, my question is - what are your thoughts on the comments from these gentleman regarding these companies/products, who you have now aligned with to release your new products? Will you denounce their behavior for doing to these organizations, what others are now unjustly doing to you? Thanks!

Hi Pan! Glad to see your products hit with DetailCo. I understand youve been testing your products and DetailCo products for awhile but most people will be sceptic since they made your top 1 and 2 for the categories they were in. I would have added them in 2025 awards to give the end consumer time to get familiar with the brands so you dont loose more than you gain.

His company is Detail by Pan the Organiser.....His distributor & partner is Detail Co..Thats why we didn't see any of the true brands this year I'm afraid....The whole thing was a Sales show from start to finish.

There's thousands of products we "could" use, but we trust in youtubers to provide the knowledge, demonstrations, hints and tips, etc. before we decide to give it a try and purchase it. I've never seen Carpro, Gyeon, and Bilt Hamber not in top 3's for many subjects before, and yet they are all he and most of us use! I'll still watch him but he has tarnished some people's trust by releasing thar video today because all we are gonna hear about now is how pissing good these products and Detail Co products are when none of us are using them....its a joke. He should take the video down and do another version or just leave it out this year. By all means, bring them in for 2025 awards, but let us have a go on them ford before claiming how good he "thinks" they are!
Completely agree my friend, I detail for a living but it’s private so as you know we always have to budget what we buy and when to buy it, so having pan in here was a quick and easy way to see what was good, but now it seems like it’s not worth it anymore cause all the sections are his product, and maybe they are the best, but why is detail co in there? Cause I can almost bet, carpro or any other brand even sonax blows them out the water
This is a colossal miss for me. Regardless of how good your products are, giving almost all the awards to yourself is a bad look. I think it would be fair to talk about your own products in each category, but the awards should strictly be reserved for unbiased products. Give the top 3, then talk about your own product and how it compares.

I’m in agreement with most of the others here. If anything, I think it would’ve been beneficial to see 3rd party reviews of your products before this video was released putting your products on the list. If independent, 3rd party reviews have your products as comparable to the rest of the best, then this video seems much less egregious. But it’s hard when the products haven’t really gotten into anyone else’s hands yet.

I always look forward to receiving your list of products-it's something I really enjoy. I'm genuinely excited that you've launched your own product line, and I can't wait for it to be available in the UK. However, since it's not yet accessible here, I’d love to hear about other products that are ready to buy.
That said, including your own products in a list like this, even if you try to remain unbiased, doesn’t quite feel right. When your products take a top spot, it makes it harder to fully trust the rankings. It also pushes other deserving brands down, so instead of having three diverse brands in the top spots, it becomes two brands and your own. I hope that makes sense.

If you wanted to use your products, fine. I get it. I believe you made them the great. However, all other brands get 20 seconds overview, while every Clean product gets a mini-infomercial. I’m in sales, it’s important to be excited about what you’re selling, but it’s a fine line. Love you and your channel. You’ve made me MUCH better detailer. I appreciate you.

Although we couldn’t be happier for your product line launch, I believe you should be more accepting of constructive criticism as it relates to the potential conflict of interest (even if you don’t consider there to be one). It is obviously your choice to take the channel in the direction you deem appropriate, but responding with “nah” will certainly rub some people the wrong way.
Had I not ordered a bulk of Carpro and KC products before the announcement, I would have already placed an order for your seemingly great products.
I hope you don’t take these comments the wrong way. The community and I still love you and are extremely proud of you for reaching this milestone.
