Test Router Performance with Traffic Generator - MIKROTIK TUTORIAL [ENG SUB]

When developing a computer network, the first thing that must be done is to make a well-planned project. This planning includes network topology, setting concept, and selecting the devices to be used.
Performance testing is a step that should be taken before network devices are actually installed on a real network. The vendors usually have released the results of the performance lab test of a device on the datasheet details. Of course this test is carried out based on existing standards.
On MikroTik RouterOS, we can do a similar test using the Traffic Generator feature. Router performance in forwarding packets from one network to another will be simulated as in a real network situation. This test can also be used to determine the ability to forward data packets from one interface to another in the same router.
