Hey! Just a heads up, collision audio for throwable objects is missing from the throwable object script in the latest version. I added " private Audiosource collisionSound = null; " above the public things in the throwables script and it fixed it.
@@Suvidriel the line added was from the droppables script, and adding it did fix the collision audio problem I was having, for both me and someone else. If you're saying the field isnt used maybe its some kind of spacing or unity version issue? Collision audio for custom throwables doesnt work for some people out of the box.
@@Suvidriel you're right about it not being the collision sound thing but something about the script loading I think is messing up. I had a feeling after you said this so I tried again today and sound wasn't working again. removing and re-adding the line didn't seem to do anything, but similar to what I did the first time; I took the script out of the project, renamed it, put it back in, then renamed it ThrowableObject, put it on an object; and then sound worked? So it might be something to do with unity compiling the scripts? Also, I want to say I really love this program and what you've done with it so far, it's my favourite tracker out of everything I've tried.
i followed your steps and my throws some of the 3D ones just pass my model an stuck on the air. idk if its the 3D assets ive downloaded that arent working with vnyan right.. i got it to work on one item. but i tried it on two others an it doesnt work.
Make sure the collider and rigidbody are in the main level of the object - otherwise you may get weird results like these. I also recommend using simple colliders like boxes/spheres
I've been having trouble integrating the sound with the object and I don't think it worked in the video either. Any tips to get the audio to play on VNyan?
They do work but I didn't record them on the vod. Make sure you have the audio toggle in the general settings set to max instead of 0. It might sometimes even default to off.
Hmm I dont use slobs so not sure. You could maybe see if it supports spout2 sources like the real obs does. The capture quality of spout2 is quite superior
I'm sry to sound rude, but I feel that should be fairly obvious? to answer your question though (and potentially any others you might ask)... yeah, you need vNyan Open for a vNyan action to be seen... you also need a VRM/VSFAvatar inside vNyan for the action to have an effect on the character, and you need to capture the vNyan Window in whatever recording software your using, so anyone either watching your stream, or videos can see what is going on inside the vNyan App... also YES, you need to have vSeeFace, and vNyan open at the same time, vNyan is meant for complex reactive content, while vSeeFace is just meant for tracking there is no built in tracking solution for vNyan, so vSeeFace (or an alternative VMC tracking solution) is REQUIRED
I need a new tutorial, the app has changed a lot and I can't find the options forget it, I was just stressed because of unity but my throwable appears without textures in the app D:
This is so exciting, this means we can also make and share items that are ready to be easily imported in!
I was suppose to study and I find this video, THE RABBIT HOLE! Thank you for another amazing tutorial as always ❤
Absolutely amazing work as always Suvi!
Educating as always, you are a blessing Suvi
Take a shot of VVodka every time she says VNyan =w=
That is very important👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

That's not it though - the app doesn't use that field

attempting this a second time also doesn't work, I really don't know what would be causing this to work or not work at this point.
adding an audio source to the particle prefab has been consistently working so far

@@Suvidriel General settings where? I checked Vnyan, and Unity, both seem to have the volume on? I seem to have the same problem.

Just curious if there is a way to make custom particle effects? Wanting to make a smoke one.
Yea, particle systems do work with vnyan sdk
I cannot see the game capture in Streamlabs OBS. it just shows nothing. Any advice?

@@Suvidriel will give it a go. Considering it's based off obs source it should work. But I'll give it a go. Thanks! It's a great app!
should i have VNyan open so it shows when someone wants to throw something? or is it not necessary?

I have my vnayn minimized during streams and i still see it so no u dont need it fully opened to see it just minimize it if thats what u were askin
@@ProtoPropski VNyan seems to works fine tracking using webcam instead of VSeeFace, but doesn't benefit from VSeeFace's expressions of course

Make sure you use the correct Unity 2020.3.48. Unity is not future proof so if you use a newer version then things like textures will not work
@@Suvidriel ahhhhhh........ i hate you Unity!!!! *he raises his arm angrily*
@@Suvidriel thank youuuu, it works!
can I Import my 3d designs from Nomad Sculpt to throw custom items at Vtuber
No idea what that is tbh. As long as you can bring those to unity then it should work
