I think you are confused about the Stormzy beef. Chip goes at Stormzy for claiming he is the king of a genre that he has abandoned which is grime. He also goes at Stormzy for disrespecting people who made the scene they thrive in like Wiley (grime) or Jay Z (hip hop). He brings supposed facts about Stormzy's personal life which Stormzy never denied in any of the songs. Stormzy's only rebuttal is "I am more popular and have more money," but not in any song did he show more range and technical ability nor did he come with facts as to the goings on in Chip's personal life. Chip brings the facts, rebuttals each and ever dig from Stormzy. In Grime, even the goats clashed others in the scene who were less popular like Skepta vs Devilman. But instead of Stormzy being direct, he uses the above strategy basically the whole time.
Also, Stormzy dealt with Wiley the year before and then he was just doing sly digs at Chip instead of facing him directly which is what grime is about. You can't say he is bigger than grime if he is supposedly the king of that genre and months earlier had a public clash and then runs when a peer directly clashes him. He makes some dope songs in reply, but never actually saying anything besides his popularity, money, watches, hits... But Chip was the first to do it in the UK so it's not a rebuttal.
Same thing goes with Bugzy. Bugzy picked a guy who 6 other MCs were dissing at the same time, but didn't reply to street guys who would handle beef physically as well as in a song. Also, in every song Chip refute's Bugzy's claims. All of the claims are later found as false with many (not all) of Chip's assessments are right on the money. Bugzy tried to punchline Chip to death with lies and half truths. Chip rebuttals with facts using the words Bugzy used, the flow Bugzy used, or the schemes like what he did in The End. It's almost as if you want Chip to say something untrue to "punch" Bugzy. In all of this Chip has brought more facts. Bugzy partnered up with Tinie Tempah and Charlie and used them to gas him to go at Chip even though Chip didn't know him from Adam. Pepper Riddim was a 6 person shot. The End was saying "They're telling lies, none of it is true and since this guy wants to make money off my name using lies, I am done with this." 5 months went by and Chip's brother goes to jail for a kidnapping and then Chip responds with 3 tracks that bury Bugzy. Bugzy does a couple more shots at Chip and Chip's continues to shovel it on.
Chip is a subtle lyricist using everything about the beef to reply like visuals, redirecting shots sent his way against his opponent, etc.
Also, you don't understand the context or lingo all the time so a lot goes over your head. If you don't understand, how can you know if it's dope or not?

Bugzy dissed Chip for making pop tunes, but got into the beef by working with a popstar, Tinie Tempah, who used to be a grime artist who dissed Chip.
Bugzy twisted the story of his "source" about Chip's supposed debt, etc. - Fact
Paigon is UK slang for a snake. So basically he is saying snakes doing what snakes do. "It's Peak" is a song with Tinie Tempah who meets with the government on social issues and yet talks about a street life he didn't live. Stormzy, Tinie, and Bugzy were on there which is why he said 2/3 of peak was a paigon tune (two people twisting stories for popularity).
He calls Chip Sonic and Chip calls him a drop lip monkey (look it up) a rebuttal to an aspect of his appearance by both parties.
Bugzy cames to Chip's town, but in the dead of night when no one was there and instead of being in the heart of Chip's hood, he by the football stadium. - Fact
Chip tells him to come with his jewels when people are out and see what happens then. He never went back. - Fact
Several of Bugzy's disses actually used Chip's old hooks from his song or bars. Relegation Riddim hook was Chip's hook from earlier.
The F you and your box of food line refers to Bugzy being locked up and he says that Bugzy is not Rage (another UK artist who is known for being a criminal).
Stating that Rage will beef in person or in a song and to reply to him (which Bugzy didn't). He singled out Chip he believed he could intimidate Chip with his street life (personal opinion) and he had industry backing (fact)
Chip is a legend that Bugzy grew up listening to on a station called F Radio.
Preeing is UK slang for basically social media stalking someone you don't like.

Most of the song goes on like this refuting lies and telling facts. In Grime clashing is about barring with facts not just saying cool stuff to impress people like we do in the states. Your ears are basically US culture reacting to UK culture and if it doesn't align you don't normally like it based on several reaction videos I've seen of many artists. Anything that is contemporary gets more of a head nod, but that doesn't make it better or worse.

His last few bars^^ Chip is in part responsible for Bugzy's commercial success. Chip has been known as the "Grime Scene Savior" since the late 2000s. He is using the idea that Jesus is God and created the devil and Bugzy's come up in music as a metaphor.
Chip took over a year to reply to Tinie as well. Replying when he wanted, he destroyed Tinie. He was sending warning shots at Bugzy. I agree he should have just destroyed him from the jump, but he said it was a strategy to warn, go silent, and then end him, which he did when you look at the 6-7 other diss songs between them.

Bugzy filmed the previous video in Chip’s ends all the way in LDN. Chip responded saying he went to the stadium rather than the blocks so he never got no trouble.
Big part of the beef is about where that video was filmed.
Chip was one of the first artist to go mainstream/pop in the uk from been in our scene so chip took the shots years back and had everyone make comments about that through the years but now as our scene in the uk expanded and artists and there fans who had made these comments and digs started making pop type songs and working with mainstream artists so chips main point is the hypocrisy and chip always came back to grime /rap where’s as stormzy for example jumped on pop and stayed there using our scene as the hop up to mainstream and then almost forgetting about it apart from ever so often making the odd song rap rapping ,and all those who went at him they wouldn’t be in the position they are now in without that and chip and few other like dizzee , Wiley etc took those shots another difference is pop back then when chip was doing it was a lot different to grime where as this era now our scene is massive because of all the past and our scene now considered pop

He had previously proved his worth in the underground scene, but he didn't go around promoting himself as any king whilst making thise records. He then returned to the Grime scene, mc'ing and battling, and earning the respect of his peers.
Stormzy on the other hand, came out of the Grime scene, after putting in the work and became a Pop star. But just because they call him a Grime artist it doesn't mean that he is anymore. And he continues to tell the world that he is the King, when he is no longer there!
And that is what Chip is dissing him about. We all applaud Stormzy for what he has achieved, and he should stay in his lane!
And, if Chip is overrated, Stormzy is double-overrated!

So this is really the start of round 1. Bugzy showed his hand too early and Chip made a whole EP worth of replies after that to finish Bugzy off lol. When Pepper Riddim dropped,, Chip basically was on his comeback tour in the UK scene after somewhat failing to crack America. Grime MCs were livid because Chip did sell out to see what that kind of fame could be like but it didn't materialise and he rocked up to the scene again on a competitve ting when he alienated it for a few years. That's why I think Chip is best placed to talk about how selling out is so dead because he tried it himself and witnessed how brutal the mainstream rap world is especially as a British grime MC who is so bar centric. You need to watch the rest of this beef and then watch Chip bury Tinie and Yungen (both havent recovered in their careers since) then you won't even dare call him overrated loool this is greatness on a different stratosphere
