    I own this amp and love it for the definition in the dirty tones. The clean cleans are hard to achieve without rolling off the volume on the guitar and turning the gain almost to zero on ch. 1. But, again, channel two is amazing. I prefer it to my roadster for distorted tone, and no boost needed.

      I'm with you, I love this amp. The simplicity is perfect for me. Just plug in and play. I keep the gain dialed low on both channels. I also did the same with my SLO. It's interesting that this amp has useable gain at all levels, where the SLO doesn't really. Anything over 4 on the SLO is mush to me.

    It’s great to add an amp that’s different from the rest in the collection. For me it’s my Phaez amp. It makes me play differently in an awesome way like playing more 70’s and early 80’s classic rock including punk rock like Green Day and 90’s Alt rock and it makes me pull out my slide too.🤗🤙🏻

      Awesome! I love jamming through something that brings out a different flavor of playing from me. That's how you know it's a keeper!

    What's with all the comments shitting on this amp? It sounds incredible.

      Dude I know lol. It's a fire breather! Fantastic for metal. And all of the gain is useable too, not like other boutique amps 2-3x the price. I'm going to have to do a song with this amp coming up just so I can showcase it in a mix

    How do you like this amp compared to the Bogner Uber Ultra? I know they're 2 different beasts.. but this is kind of just built for high gain. How do you like the feel and tone of the distortion on this compared to the Ultra? You should do these 2 in a shoot out in a future video.

      Definitely plan on it! I just want to record a new song first because I’m tired of using the same song over and over again. This amp is straight to the point, the über has a lot more in terms of sculpting a specific sound you might hear in your head. But both amps get you to the heavy and do it well

    If you had to choose between the Lynx and the Badlander, which one would you go for?

    • @sir.shreddington
      @sir.shreddington  8 месяцев назад +1

      It’s a tough call because of price point vs added functions of bells and whistles.
      The bad cat is a killer amp, but it’s pretty bare bones and both channels share an EQ. The badlander’s channels have separate eqs, and you get the whole IR functionality with the badlander. The price point difference is pretty substantial too. I plan on doing a comparison in the future though!

      @sir.shreddington true. But tone-wise which one do you like most?

    • @sir.shreddington
      @sir.shreddington  8 месяцев назад +3

      @@TudorAdrian everything else being equal, probably the badlander, but I guess it depends on my mood. It’s a really tough call for me because they both kick ass

    Would you choose the bad cat over a dual rectifier?

    • @sir.shreddington
      @sir.shreddington  6 месяцев назад

      Since they are in two different price points, almost $1k price difference, I would say it depends. They both sound killer, but the recto has independent EQs for each channel- so there is that. The BadCat sounds more modern though.

    I hated that amp. WAY too much bass, WAY too much gain. It's a hot mess, I couldn't return it fast enough.

      Yeah dude it can get super compressed. It isn’t for everyone! Right now I’m digging it though 🤙
