I agree with almost everything you preach. But I think you shouldn’t make fun of preppers. I think God does call some people to stock up some supplies, and they do it in faith, not because they don’t trust God, but because they do. Perhaps to feed people who did not prepare as a witness of Gods provision. Or if we are raptured before they are needed to answer the prayer of a tribulation saint, which we know will need to have their needs met so they don’t receive the mark. Maybe family members who didn’t believe until we were taken up. God gave Joseph the interpretation of Pharaohs dream to show the need to store grain for the great famine. So it’s not unheard of to “stock up on Cheerios” in fact, I would argue it’s biblical. But of course we need to not do it out of fear, but from faith and Gods calling to do so. God Bless. Anyway,after 40 years the husband has no interest in the things of God.FYI ~ He's a retired Battalion Chief with the Fire Dept 🚒 and is a real success by the world's standards. I've been thinking of sharing the Gospel with him .... again ... over dinner ... and telling him that in the event of a Rapture .... that the Bible says that he'd most likely be left behind ...... and that it sure would be nice if he could take advantage of all of our Preps. You should go as God leads each individual. What the preacher is insinuating is, if your storing up stuff, your not believing you will escape the tribulation.

Pastor Brett you keep saying with a slight mocking that prepping is not necessary. But for me as the mom I model my life on the woman in proverbs 31. She is prepared, so that there is no need for panic, just preparednes. 🤷♀️
I don't think there's anything wrong with it, and I am a pretrib believer. I don't think he was mocking really he has a good point about people who know the time is short like himself is really focused on getting gospel out to as many people as possible and I can personally relate to that as well. Keep doing your prepping and maybe that will be left behind for future Christians use. And also we don't know how bad it'll be before the rapture. Until then though we should be most focused on getting the gospel out as well.

I love listening to your updates but I wish you did them once a week instead of once a month. We are seeing Biblical prophecies being fulfilled at a rapid pace. It is like the birth pains that Jesus spoke of. They are getting closer together and more intense.

Chris, I prep too, all kinds of stuff...food, medical, camping gear, batteries, oil lamps and oil, too much stuff to list. But my point in saying this is that for the last 5+ years, I have been feeling lead by the Holy Spirit to do this, not for MYSELF, but specifically for people who will be left behind when we are raptured... (especially my adult son who is not saved and who won't even let me talk to him about Jesus anymore). People have no idea how bad things will be when the tribulation comes. I feel I am doing all these things for those people...I have all kinds of Bibles and books on the rapture and the tribulation that is coming, and hopefully they will read them once they realize the rapture I told them about did occur. Please pray for him, that he gets saved!

I found athey creek also via the prophecy updates like a year and a half ago at least. Or shortly after the RUclips channel started I think. I’ve listened to almost every Bible study and sermon posted to the website and I can say if it wasn’t for Brett my faith probably wouldn’t be half of what it is. "Armageddon Prophecies" in Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20 and Revelation 6:12, and Mark13:24, Matt24:29. You can compare surrounding events of each prophecy directly to get a bigger picture. Paul writes the rapture will happen "at the LAST trumpet". So, FIRST, ALL 6 trumpets/events in Revelation must be completed, before Yahshuah blows the 7th trumpet, and the resurrection happens.

Too many variables...but I smell a rat. I do NOT think we are seeing the real aspects of what's going on. Clearly people are suffering in Ukraine and they are in my prayers, as well as the Russian people. Everything about this is just wrong.

Is there a difference between "the day of the Lord" and the "coming wrath?" Is there a difference between persecution and wrath? Is there a difference between the Mid-Trib Rapture position and the Prewrath rapture position? Are there any remaining events that must occur before the rapture?
✝️ There’s absolutely nothing that has to occur before the Rapture to take place. It’s an imminent and signless event. The Day of the Lord and the Tribulation are the same thing. Pre-Wrath aka Pre-Tribulation (the correct view) means we’ll be taken up before the Tribulation. Mid or Post (incorrect view) means we go through the terrible indescribable terror of the Tribulation before we’re taken up. - Don’t let anyone tell you that the Pre-Tribulation view is wrong. Anything else is false teaching. We as Christians all face or will face little tribulations and trials our whole lives. But little tribulations are not The Tribulation. Don’t know if you’re American or not, but all across the world, Christians face terrible persecution all the time. We are blessed to live in the U.S. as we don’t yet face the terrible persecution others do. It’s definitely coming though. The MSM, our governments, and people at large are starting to persecute Christians here and in Canada and other western countries. BUT, there’s great news ! For ALL of the answers to ALL of your questions, check out Andy Woods playlists for the Rapture, Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel, and Zechariah here on RUclips. Andy is one of the best verse by verse Bible teachers of our day. People have no idea how bad things will be when the tribulation comes. I feel I am doing all these things for those people...I have all kinds of Bibles and books on the rapture and the tribulation that is coming, and hopefully they will read them once they realize the rapture I told them about did occur.

This pastor and a handful of others I could name are the very rare exceptions among a nation of churches that ignore end time bible prophecy
"Armageddon Prophecies" in Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20 and Revelation 6:12, and Mark13:24, Matt24:29. You can compare surrounding events of each prophecy directly to get a bigger picture. Paul writes the rapture will happen "at the LAST trumpet". So, FIRST, ALL 6 trumpets/events in Revelation must be completed, before Yahshuah blows the 7th trumpet, and the resurrection happens.

Too many variables...but I smell a rat. I do NOT think we are seeing the real aspects of what's going on. Clearly people are suffering in Ukraine and they are in my prayers, as well as the Russian people.
Everything about this is just wrong.

Wise Biblical scholars disagree on the timing of the rapture. Currently nobody knows when it will happen but as we get closer more clues come out making its timing more “guessable”. These are very exciting days for prophecy buffs. 😀

Is there a difference between "the day of the Lord" and the "coming wrath?" Is there a difference between persecution and wrath? Is there a difference between the Mid-Trib Rapture position and the Prewrath rapture position? Are there any remaining events that must occur before the rapture?
✝️ There’s absolutely nothing that has to occur before the Rapture to take place. It’s an imminent and signless event.
The Day of the Lord and the Tribulation are the same thing.
Pre-Wrath aka Pre-Tribulation (the correct view) means we’ll be taken up before the Tribulation. Mid or Post (incorrect view) means we go through the terrible indescribable terror of the Tribulation before we’re taken up.
- Don’t let anyone tell you that the Pre-Tribulation view is wrong. Anything else is false teaching.
We as Christians all face or will face little tribulations and trials our whole lives. But little tribulations are not The Tribulation.
Don’t know if you’re American or not, but all across the world, Christians face terrible persecution all the time. We are blessed to live in the U.S. as we don’t yet face the terrible persecution others do. It’s definitely coming though. The MSM, our governments, and people at large are starting to persecute Christians here and in Canada and other western countries.
BUT, there’s great news ! For ALL of the answers to ALL of your questions, check out Andy Woods playlists for the Rapture, Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel, and Zechariah here on RUclips. Andy is one of the best verse by verse Bible teachers of our day. He’ll explain that the Pre-Tribulation doctrine is the rightly divided doctrine.
- You’ve asked some great questions here, but you’re much better off viewing Andy’s videos as you’ll get the full and complete understanding from a literal, contextual, historical, grammatical, and eschatological perspective.
