Timah R. That last line you wrote will be on a t-shirt... If you do not mind... Because I feel the same way you feel " I identify with being tired of this bullshit!"... it's like these people cannot live without having some type of label.

Joey Youn it's because we were stripped of our heritage and we have a sense of belonging to a more detailed culture like how Africans are not just african they are Nigerian or Ghanaian.

Good Afternoon, I swear i can't wait for this fake #woke trend to end....
edit: before ya'll come at me with the "black native American" angle, STOP and actually watch the video smh, if you would watch rather then being "first"
you would see i clearly addressed it... so yeah black natives do exists.
with that being said until waka flocka woke provides proof, i'm not believing him, i find it funny how he knows for certain he has no black ancestry, but proudly proclaimed his european & native ancestry with certainty...

Now I claim my blackness and when ppl mistaken me as another race because I so called don't have the typical black girl look.. I get offended. Being called "exotic" is no longer a compliment it's actually an insult as if you can't be beautiful and black. I have no kids yet so I try and teach my nieces, nephews and little cousins this

Why trip now..we all know from even back in the day..that we were called negro then about 20 years or less then that they call us Black American/ or Africian American
But all our life we have been called Black People
      it is what it is
      Be Black and Proud
..but to all due respect...when you apply for a job they ask you for your idenity..
so if the dude say he don't got black in him..ok..however..he looks black to me
      to each it's own
      so..reall

    • @natrulyvivacious
      @natrulyvivacious 7 лет назад +8

Ieasha Edmond ...I don't like to be called black either. it's a title given to by pink pple YES I said PINK pple I call them what they really are. The pink pple called African-American black and themselves white to differentiate and seperate the good from the bad in their case they the good and the African Americans are the bad. DON'T BELIEVE ME look in the dictionary what is the meaning of black depressed, evil, dirty etc. Now lookup the meaning of white says it means color of innocence, angelic, pure. Now look up meaning of compound words with the word black before it most of those words beginning with the word black means something bad. Now lookup sum compound words with the word white before it THEY ALL mean something good EVEN A LIE IS GOOD if you just put the word white b4 it. So F that I'm going with african American and for color some are brown some are chocolate, some caramel some tan, some copper, some beige, some champaign, I'm Golden 😁
So anyways we are NOT a color and we are not a language we are a culture. Since European American want to call themself and others a color -which I already explained WHY they did that- then we should call them the color that they really are pink. I WILL NOT CALL THEM WHITE AS PER THE MEANING OF WHITE HELL NO!And none is orange that's just a color they gained from a tan gone bad 😂
As for the color black they want to call African Americans thats THEIR ideals for racist purpose and so it needs to seriously be squashed.

I'm not mad at waka flaka I get what he was trying to say he just worded it horribly, but all these difference in opinion about what we are should wake people up in itself. why blame the victim when we can blame the perpetrator ? Is it our fault we don't know what we are specifically. no one finds it odd that every other race can trace their family back and know who they are .it was a smart way to keep us divided so they can conquer if we don't know who we are we can't claim power and be confident and if we dont consider ourselves "family" and all the same thing we won't help each other out and work together like other races.you never see black people like the Hispanics work together come up together because our identity was stolen from us we are all question marks who look at each other sideways because we can't bond unless we know we are the same thing. Now some are saying we are the Israelites I'm not gonna say whether I think it's true or not but I have noticed since these people have found their "identity" there are more black people coming together and seeing each other as brothers and sisters. This wasn't an accident that happend because of slavery they did this to us on purpose they knew exactly what they were doing and are still doing.waka flaka is a distraction let's focus on why they lie in history books and what they are hiding, let's focus on why in the past when black people knew more about who they were we were United and now after they did everything possible to keep us confused we are more divided.

I strongly believe I'm indigenous to the Americas, my ancestors were here ions before the Mongolians came over the ice bridge. Pangea broke apart later then theorized and original people are older than theorized. Our negroid faces cover the walls of everywhere in the world, why not the Americas. Olmec head, ancients mounds North America, Atlanta, Cahokia, Louisiana. Research Walter Ashby Plecker, south american pyramids, ancient mounds north america. Oh also, Albert Perry is a "black" man from the US carolina, his DNA is over 340,000 years old. How many on this continent share his DNA, a mystery, the whoevers decided to fact find in Africa, not the Americas. fyi.

Waka is crazy! I took my Ancestry DNA, and to my surprise I am 90% African which is unheard of because most black people in America are 76% of African descent and rarely have Native American ancestry. My mother told me I was part Cherokee because of my high cheek bones and I had less than 1% of Native American ancestry. Some people just don’t want to be black!

Jerrand MuzicofDaArtz I think she meant ALL people come from Africa. A part of the scientific community believes in the "Out of Africa" theory, but it is a divided issue. One of the oldest skeletons was found there, and tracing migration of certain peoples back to Africa has lead to this theory.

Have you ever wondered why they created the term "Black" do you know about the Census? These are ways the United States are trying to keep us trapped and we just bought into it if majority of the voted against Being labeled we would not be discriminated against as much there should be no such term as Black white African American Latino we all are people we can't be put In a certain category if you were born on American soil you are American look at the many interviews on celebs talking about going to other countries Morgan Freeman said he doesn't identify with the term African I don't see anyone trying to "lynch" him and I used that term to speak on the severity of the situation. In America if you open your eyes and seek the truth outside of the States you will find. That's why some artists get big and you never hear gossip about them or you dont hear them respond because they know no matter how much they try there will be some people who like staying in the dark. Please seek facts first.

I know I'm majorly Black so i will stand by that. I think its cool people are discovering other parts of them but when it comes down to it even if you are half white half black like my son is, you will be accounted as black. even his father has a trouble understanding that even thought I've explained multiple times. we have strong genes. And no I would never discredit the other parts of geneology but black is a strong and beautiful part of us.

some Ojibway, Denae, Swampy Cree, Oji-Cree peoples and more, have all been observed at one point to have adorned dreads. These are tribes that would not have been effected by diaspora due to their isolated areas where their descendants can be found today, still isolated.

I think he's alluding to the stereotype and pseudo reality of struggle life and subordination and inherent inferiority etc they force black people to accept in order to condition them into a certain type of life. "The matrix"

Someone who is Pacific Islander and has Melanesian blood here. Melanesians are still black and refer to themselves as such they're just not African. If he is referring to Austroloids being indigenous to the Americas he is still wrong. There's little to no evidence to support Austroloids ever ventured out of the Asia/West Pacific area during this period. No oral history no nothing. The only people with Austroloid blood that almost certainly reached the Americas pre-Columbus are the Polynesians who are an admixture of Melanesian (Austroloid) and Austronesian (an ancient group out of Southeast Asia). Still, when they arrived on American shores it was already inhabited by humans and they traded with the natives.

+Imani Zelaya Not everything has to originate from Africa, but the black people who were in the Americas before the institution of slavery, were explorers from the continent of Africa. Africans, as well as Asians, had already designed vessels that would travel the world by water; and so, they were traveling the world, exploring, meeting the people of different lands and learning about those lands, etc. Waka may not know all of this, and so, he may not know that he is, in actuality, of African descent.

From Siberia Mongolia which are the Nordic people and are basically Russians more damn white people. They know they aren't indigenous to America and so does trump. Just like he knows we aren't really Africans it is you dumb fuckers that keep claiming to be but haven't took your ass back to the African mainland continent yet. And nobody is holding you hostage anymore you can go back any time you want. Or go back to Isreal any time you want but you want because you don't know the languages any of the tribes speak in any of those 54 different countries. Or to scared to go back to Isreal because 9 times out of ten the Palestine people will run your asses back to America. Stop claiming shit you know you aren't you can't claim two damn continents at the same damn time wake up fool. Because that's what they are really side eyeing.

TI your videos lately are so informative and well done.
I've watched the video three times and I'm confused. where in REAL history books does it say that some 'blacks' are Native Americans? if they are Native Americans where is that in the Native American history?? can those tribes confirm this?
I'm from South Africa and even we like to claim S.A. as our land and us being the native whereas the Khoisan are the natives.
I sometimes feel as black people we try so hard to have something to claim because our identity as black Africans has been tarnished. for me I truly believe all races originate from Africa.
Let this BLACK man do a DNA test and can the Native Americans speak on this? they should have some knowledge concerning this.

Thank You!! I did research on this very topic Five years ago. Come to find out Native Americans RARELY allowed interracial procreation between themselves and slaves. Those who did faced death as well as any children that were born as a result of this race mixing. They gave us THEIR tribal names but that's about IT. Very few, less than 5% of Black people can actually say they have Native American blood in them. Before we go running around spewing this nonsense we REALLY need to do our research FIRST! Native Americans loved to procreate with WHITES but not BLACKS!

    • @LegendaryMother

Sharayah ok I think we understand that alot of natives were enslaved but the MAJORITY were African people... Africans are gentically stronger which is why they used them as slaves... meaning they brutalized black people more than indigenous people... for centuries black people went through a mass genocide and were brutalized by whites, natives, asians etc but the other groups get reparations... and what do black people still get, MASS GENOCIDE! So I believe it's very unfair to my black ancestors to compare their mass enslavement to the few indigenous people who were enslaved by demons

Idk how that looks like a black person. But I still believe we were aborginies to America. Nat Turner was actually believe to be a native. You should watch Dane Collaway. I absolutely love how everyone says "I'm Black“ this "You're Black" that, but you don't realize that Black isn't a race nor ethnicity. When you refer to any other people on this planet you say their location of ancestral origin. Here you just say "I'm Black" like it describes anything, no cultural reference predating American Slavery. No landmass before slavery, not a single thing.
One of the biggest factors is that some accept Africa and some refuse it, while West Africans know there's no relation. For any "Pan-Africanist" reading this, Why Tf r there so many West Africans over here yet haven't even tried takin ya ass home? Y is it easy to tell who's a real African or who's not if ya the same ppl?
Another question, why would grandma and grandpa jus straight up lie in ya face about who u r? Everyone knows Indians are some shade of copper wit a red undertone in the natural light. There's a lotta shit that don't add up bout being called African American. Jesse Jackson came up wit dat in the 80s and our elders didn't want that.
If you look up the 1828 definition of "American" you'll rethink some stuff
Last thing, why is it that they treat us like savages while stealing our shit, and treat some of us as noble savages?🤔

Jenna Smith Tagata Maoi/Maoli/Maohi/Maori are indigenous people of Polynesia. The Aboriginals of Australia are Austroloid like the people in Melanesia. Despite appearances Europeans are more closely related to Africans than Austroloids and Austroloids were one of the first groups out of Africa and have some of the oldest cultures on earth. Phenotype and physical features are recessive traits and are hardly indicators of one's ancestry.

They were captives on a slave ship that happened to shipwreck in St. Vincent, that's where they originally integrated w Native Americans. So they actually do have African lineage.

Why are black people so quick to claim Native American, as if being just black is something negative? There is an episode of Finding My Roots where they discuss this very topic. They found that the majority of blacks living in the U.S are not Native American...9 times out of 10 it's really white. As for me, I am black mixed with black!!!
