And the sad thing is most people who buy trucks and jeeps never use them for their intended purpose which also drives up price because now it's a status symbol. My sister in law just bought a bronco and said it will never see dirt, but she just had to have it. Another sister in law always buys ram 4x4 trucks and never goes in dirt and wouldn't even help pull her uncle out of a soft spot on the ranch because she didn't want her truck dirty. So I did it with my old two wheel drive truck. I need a 4x4 for work but can't afford them now and the uses ones I can afford are beat to death and would need way to much money invested to get them somewhat reliable transportation.
The 2024 Willy's is coming with a rear locker and I think 33" tires. Add a winch and thats probably all most people need. Its still pretty pricey though.
I have had 6 different Wranglers. Currently have a TJ and JL. We bought our JL Sahara 2 years ago for 45k. That same Jeep today on a 24 model with the same features is 56k. Jeep has gone absurd with their pricing. A loaded 392 is going for up to 130k. For that money I can get a Range Rover and WOULD!

And I think we still have free speech, so we're welcome to have and express whatever opinions we want, including your bullying attempt to restrict valid criticism.
I couldn't imagine taking anything I paid more than probably $15k for on real trails. That factory warranty and insurance isn't going to cover your ass when you slam it into a boulder or a tree.
Honestly if you’re actually going to do hard core off-roading, a Jeep is for you. Trucks are for towing, hauling, and long road trips. Just my opinion.

I personally DESIGNED and CNC'ed the V-bottom hull mated to the lifting tube-within-a-tube all-Titanium alloy Rheological active suspension system AND I also designed the fully-immersed-into-Ferrofluid ridged disk braking system which thickens and relaxes the ferrofluid upon application of a high voltage current for IMMENSE BRAKING POWER! I also CODED (using Object Pascal and ADA) the real-time active suspension system which samples RGB/RADAR/LIDAR/SONAR imagery at up to 5000 frames per second (2000 fps normally) which gets you a 3D image sample of the current roadway on all sides and underneath so the magnetic ride shocks can automatically PULL UP or PUSH DOWN any or all of the wheels at up to 5000 times per second. I can go over speedbumps at 100 MPH+ (160 kmh) and the suspension system independently PULLS each of the wheels up and over the bumps at full speed so I don't even feel them!
