This is a magnificent interview by a great Veteran of that momentous Tone in History. Bless his kind heart; he makes mention of the 442nd-100th American Japanese infantryman Regiment 1:10:39 His own service duty history took him from North Africa, to Sicily, to Italy, to Europe. This is an amazing feat of survival to have been in both the MTO *and* the ETO, on the front lines.
This hero has suffered hearing loss yet the interviewer time after time after time ...... is not smart enough to realise that she must ask her questions in a louder voice so the poor guy can HEAR.
The one thing I've noticed from these interviews, is that they are all share a deep humility.
Thank you for sharing your story Mr Burns!
Thank you Sir, God bless you..
