HEY Michele!!! Someone "Plus 1ed" my complement to your playing, & I thought while I'm here, I should tell you & everyone, I ended up buying a very slightly used Korg Kronos X 88 a few months later. I've now had it for a bit over 2 years, and I'm still learning about it. The main reason I went with that exact thing is the "Karma" feature which uses algorithms to enhance your playing, in addition to preset phrases, those phrases can be modified to follow your changes, particularly major-minor, which could otherwise get nasty sounding, right quick-like when you get into more complex playing/arranging. I can set up a "Combi" with drums, bass, and 2 other "backing" rhythm section Karma phrases, like a rhythm guitar & horns or strings or combinations of those if setup up to double like that in a Program, i.e. BUT, the most fun is setting up a Combi with a simple rhythm section & jamming with it, live. I've lately been using a sort of "Gospel" setup I modified from a factory Combi, just replacing some of the sounds to something I liked better, and different phrases, but the same basic bass & drum patterns are retained. I find I can waste a whole afternoon on playing with this stuff (well, until my back gives out), so that's probably the only big drawback, having too much fun instead of seriously composing, BUT I "accidentally" composed over a dozen tunes by putting some of those jams into a "quick record" in the sequencer section, which records exactly your Combi settings & what you're playing real-time in MIDI data. That usually takes up no more than 5-7 tracks, depending on how you use the Karma function. THEN you can add more MIDI tracks (up to 16 total), AND add up to 16 audio tracks. SO, I've yet to come anywhere near the capacity to hold whatever I have ever even dreamed of playing. All the FX are also incredible, I haven't gotten around to using any kind of Mastering FX yet, but I also have that capability on computer if I don't like the final output of the Kronos. It holds it all no problem, then can quickly be saved to a USB memory stick, moved to the computer for whatever copying &/or editing, whatever to post online, etc. Anyway, after all this research, I just felt the Kronos had more potential, and so far, I certainly haven't been disappointed, on the contrary, I couldn't be more pleased. Also, all the new system updates work just fine, I'm missing some new sounds, but they just aren't important to me, there's more than enough onboard, plus I still have a Roland XV-5080 & a Kurzweil K2000R for additional sounds should I ever want to really stack 'em up to absurdity. Hope you're still enjoying the PC3K, it was a close call for me, all of these are great machines (including the Yamaha Motif XF8), not a bad design in the bunch, just some system differences. 😎 Oh, I just got an app for iPad (called 'Remote") to give me a 2nd touch display, but can't get it to connect yet, I think my camera adapter isn't working & Bluetooth doesn't work on my old iPad2. I need to test the camera box somehow, just haven't figured that out yet, but WOW, it just keeps on delivering...
@@MichelePicaro well done. It’s a legend of modern music world as well. I bought a new PC3k8 newly at a Music Store in Berlin Kreuzung and also additionally KORE64 and GERMAN GRAND D too. So I am absolutely glad and happy with that instrument! A matter for now is I have to study all this Functions etc. It takes time. Honestly any little help of my friend is very welcome 🙏

Grazie. C'ho messo parecchio per shine. Ho rifatto tutto da zero. Il resto è stato fatto a tempo perso in poco tempo. Alcuni suoni sono preset un po modificati. Quelli che ho fatto da zero sono: Shine, sirius (che andrebbe aggiustato), mammagumma e The show must go on.

Please tell me (i own a Kurzweil PC3X for the Moment without Kore64) wich Layers you have used for this original sound? and what are the correct settings? Did you do it in the Programm or in the Setup or in The song Mode? i wil be very happy if i can play this sound on my Kurzweil too if you will make it possible? +leman1967 Hi Leman. Shine was a setup. My first setup after a week of kurzweil more than two years ago. Now it's better. Essentially you have to use three synth strings at different octaves and balanced volume. Now I added an organ on back. Lead it's a single saw wave with low pass filter and soft attack. Ciao. Usato vsthost che è free e lo usavo solo per il vst di hammond vb3. Ora però non uso più il portatile perchè ho preso il DMC122 col modulo gemini che ha gia il clone hammond incorporato. Per shine c'ho messo almeno 30 ore di lavoro...ma considera che non conoscevo per niente la tastiera e l'ho praticamente cominciata a capire facendo questa patch. Se dovessi rifarla adesso ci metterei metà tempo. Ciao
La meccanica me l'avevano descritta come molto economica ma io l'ho trovata discreta. Fa bene il suo lavoro. Parliamo di una synth action (la 61) quindi è normale che sia abbastanza leggera ma sicuramente non uno schifo come la maggior parte di controller usb. Le 76 tasti sono sicuramente di un livello superiore. Io preferisco le 61 solo per questioni di spazio/peso altrimenti avrei preso la 76. Ciao

BasilGnet LE=Light edition so this is the poor sister. If you want to buy a good keyboard I think that PC3K is the answer. Even why the value for money is very very high. I bought used for 1250 euros. I can't make a review here. There are a lot on the net about it. Which kind of complaints have you read? About what?
Michele Picaro That's not exactly correct, there are many "riffs" and 2 Arpeggiators for each of the 16 available zones with over 180+ Shift Patterns (chord changes i.e. major, minor, dim, etc.) according to the owners manual, so creating songs should be a piece of cake once familiar with the architecture that's unique to Kurzweil's PC3 series. There are just more demos of Korg & Yamaha using pre-loaded phrases on RUclips, and Kurz may not have as many, but it's so easy to import that stuff via MIDI, there's not much point to loading a bunch of stuff you're likely to only use once, regardless. yes Zeek...but I haven't seen any section of drums and play like an arranger (drums accompaniment). The concept is different compared to an arranger. Maybe I've not understand very well Basil's question and you answer better than me.
All sounds are synthesis. There are only one sample, little bells between the shine pad to make more brilliant effect :) But many things, like the synth modulation on last notes of keyboard, have been improved

It was stock sound but I don't remember which sound. I think it was one of fanfare setups.
