    I interpreted this as it being okay to move around and try new things, even if it seems like it isn't the popular thing to do, or that others won't understand. Because maybe at the end of it, you'll find a new way to live that captures the spirit of your individuality. Thanks for sharing this animation! I've subscribed and I'm looking forward to watching more of your art.

    Roots can trap you and keep you small by staying safe. Building a home base allows you freedom while still providing safety. Brilliant little film, thank you so much for sharing!

    I love this! My interpretation is-
    You are not confined to your roots. You can pack up and explore and have fun while doing so. Then, when you are ready, you can "root" yourself once more. The nest represents how "rooting" one's self is unique to the individual.

    I love the bird design and the imagining them being partial plant, partial bird. And it was wholesome overall.
    Thank you so much for this lovely experience

    Both abstract and representational. Prolific of potential interpretation. Great and grand Funkery. Vel done and medium rare to find that. Admiration from The WordSmithery.

    I see this animation as a try to bring forward the message" The more you explore the more you learn " . We should not follow others blindly nor copy what others are doing without any purposes , if we have the curious mind to explore then we should go for it, we might build ourselves the nests which will be our homes, during the process, instead of sticking to one place/ideology/principles. We can create nests by ourselves from learning and gaining knowledge.

    Since the bird was uprooted not by choice, this probably has to do with refugees, but also works on grander scale too, really cute!!

    I think it's about how a child is raised in a conservative household. But when the child grows enough and move out of the home and expériences the joy of freedom, he's criticised for his recklessness and denied any safety. Ultimately, he finds a way to live in his own way, keeping himself safe and happy.

    I trauma infantili possono avvenire in nuclei familiari apparentemente normali. Commovente.

    My intrepation of the story is:
    "You might not sprout new roots when wind blows you off your old ones; and in that case, it's a good idea to use this defect for travelling, bragging and flirting. If you realise that you're slippery and can't sleep, however, you can materialise twigs from the ground and make a nest so you can sleep in peace."

    I like the idea of birds having roots like trees. Really fun
    Also, what does the bird do when it realizes it cant take root by the others? It uses sticks to keep itself in place. Went right back to trees! Hehe

    Does it have some meaning like if u lose something u should never give up and try ur best in doing what you have

    • @gyfunk
      @gyfunk  Месяц назад +5

      I has the meaning you find in it. My motivation for making the film was my personal experience of "uprooting" = "deracination" (to remove or separate from a native environment or culture). When I was a teen my family migrated to a country with different culture and language. It felt like I lost my roots.

Trouble is, finite world resources deposited over million years used yearly. cancer rules...grow until kill. Sorry, thinksing elsewhither sang song sung.
