The ammo and all really mostly affects streamers and sweats. I do like the idea of craft stacking, or the ability to queue crafts. That needs to happen. The hideout rework is great, but crafting is not realistically helpful. It’s nice, convenient. But not actually helpful. The upkeep on crafts requires more attention than needed for a 16 hour craft, or even a 3 hour craft.
Im a fan of taking away high teir ammo, but keep higher teir armor kind of easy to get. I think having some longer time to kill makes it more interesting. that's why I always like early wipe, when everyone runs trash ammo having face shields on good helmets actually save you and all that is nice too still needs balancing and some more tweaks but I don't think its all bad
The problem I personally have is that the low lvl casual players can't get good ammo thats on the flea market. At least back in the day, if we didn't have traders unlocked we could still buy ammo from other players on the market. Now the ammo can't be put on the market so we have no way of getting good shit unless we grind. A good tweak would be to maybe have all the trader ammo available to put on the market and maybe they can control the price so that it's extremely expensive for those who don't have trader unlocked but they are willing to spend lots of money to get it. That way, we can't buy it as much because it's so expensive but at least we can have a fun raid every once in a while. Now it's just like me running around with shit ammo and shit armour with shit guns getting melted by chads. When it gets to end wipe the game is not fun for casuals AT ALL. Everyone else has high tier gear except you and you get absolutely melted.
@@akrox1136 problem i can see with that is that would see an increase to RMT stuff. @@ilikratos2783 That's the point though with Tarkov. It's part RPG, character progression is the core gameplay loop. You wouldn't play final fantasy, the division, WOW, eve online, etc and expect to have access to the best stuff and be on the level of the top players. That's the appeal for many people too, that you feel like there's actual progress being made each raid vs just unlocking new cosmetics. I've been playing since late 2017/early 2018, and back then there was no flea market and the amount of end-game gear being easily available on traders was limited.
