I can't even get mine to pair. Goes through the setup after finding it in tuya. WiFi password correct etc. Then it fails to setup as if wifi won't connect. It was working two weeks ago then stopped. They were fresh named batteries.
Low voltage detection is of no use when you use rechargeable batteries that have a voltage of 2x 1.2V. It is bad that this device cannot work with rechargeable batteries!
this model supports AAA1.5V*2 battery. it is not chargeable. my friend.
How long do 2 x AAA batteries last? It seems to be poor voltage to support wifi…

This is literally my concern as well. Batteries need to last 2 years for this to be effective. I avoided the one with temp and humd sensor to reduce battery usage

yes. to make sure the app is working.
el fabricante dice que las pilas duran un año... JA..!! hemos comprado dos sensores, y en dos meses llevan 4 pilas gastadas cada uno..!!! y son de primera marca del mercado, no pilas de marca blanca.. una ruina... Lo barato sale caro..
Só comprar pilhas boas as minhas mesmo já em 6 meses e estão boas
