This os an amazing piece. I think its the earliest piece I can truly say its a masterpiece and has Mozart musical genius as later in his life

It is amazing to be a fan of Mozart: all the time you can discover his new masterpieces. With modern performers, this is not possible.

A lovely piece on my first hearing; Mozart's light touch and harmonic playfulness is ever evident.

Amazing what the 13 year old Mozart could accomplish. That first andante is mystifying... very sensual. I envision a calm, dark atmosphere... one with a dancing, vibrant light in the distance.
A miracle Mozart’s early light music survived; they weren’t seen as important pieces, and unfortunately that view continues today.

That does now seem appalling that any of his pieces were not seen as important.....astonishing what a child produced...he was truly attuned to the infinite.

I love the andantes in this and the way it jumps back and forth between allegro and andante so suddenly is really very nice and interesting. I love metric modulation when it is executed well with a good idea behind it besides just doing it. Like it is done here.

In this period the ruler of Salzburg was the good archbishop Schrattenbach that befriended Mozart's family and died 1773 ( the requiem of Michael Haydn was composed for him). The successor was the evil, Colloredo. He never understood that at his service had one of the most outstanding composers in the world.

The V. minuet - trio almost sounds 19th century

Más que nada como curiosidad en una interpretación tan pulcra (y en estudio) el error del primer oboe en el 13:30 del minuetto, al tocar un “re” en lugar del “mi” de la partitura

The sheet says: Componirt 1770 = composed 1770; so 1769 might be wrong?

Kochel Catalogue says: Summer 1769 Salzburg, 13 years old.
