Thanks for this video. Love these clean knots. If that was me all of my knots would be the typical shoelace knot that I would have to cut with a knife after I was finished.
A bit of an off topic and very beginner question: where does one get stone? Where do you get flagstone for walkways and big stone for walls? How does one transport that stone to the jobsite? Do you have to use monster trucks to tow such heavy loads?

Hey thanks for the comment! It depends on your local area, but typically there will be a stone supplier close by that will bring in pallets of stone from all over North America (sometimes the world) and they can deliver right to your house or project!

We were excited to do our patio ourselves but we can’t get the lines right 🥹we’ll have to hire someone to do it. The pipes are leveled on the ground but the distance between the lines and pipes keeps changing which makes me think the lines are not tight enough. Thanks anyway for the video!

Which is the easiest to start a string line on a round stake that won’t slip when pulled and that will stay on the side needed? Also, which is the easiest and strongest to end the line on a round stake? Thanks.

The starting knot #1 is best to begin with, and the strongest and one that you can tighten the best is the clove hitch for sure!
