3:50 hi, I might be able to help you, completely understand Microsoft does nothing to help get the account back, the reason why they say they can’t get the account back is because Microsoft has no actual proof that you owned the account, which is not your fault AT ALL, they can look up the gamertag/Mojang account and see the email and when the security was changed, this shows that the scammer changed the verification, also when you said the account got locked, this is actually true, the reason it got locked is because the main domain (primary email) got changed, leading to what you would call a compliance lock. Now tbh I’m not sure if you know about what I’m saying already, you did say you are like og ign communities, but I’m not 100% sure if you are talking about JUST Java/mojang, OR Xbox/gamertags. My one question is, was the account ‘Device’ ONLY on Mojang, or was it on Xbox + mojang? Just curious because the account would get locked either way if it was on Xbox. I think they should make both sides prove that they " own " the account, instead of making the clear victim, but I also do understand it is for security measures, At the end of the day, it sucks to suck. Lost 400$

You can still get it back. My old Microsoft account was stolen and it got locked permanently. I got the xbox account migrated to a new microsoft account and the other data was transferred.

Buy with cdkeys, they use market arbitrage with gift card codes to give you a discount. I stopped buying straight from Microsoft since legit codes are cheaper and may still have a larger rate limit. Best I got so far are a few semi-og accounts as I primarily pick names I like, not to handsnipe hugely popular names.

Had to reset password every time I tried to log in. My username and skin kept changing, and eventually I lost it completely. Worst of all, a different account has claimed "Emendio" which is the name I've used for years. Microsoft support isn't much help, they ask for proof of purchase and unfortunately, I don't still have emails from 2013 🤣🤣🤣
