Wow. Incredible to hear that you discovered some elements of Derrida's deconstruction of Husserl prior to reading Derrida. I just finished a phenomenology course where we read several thinkers, culminating in Derrida. Each week we were asked to write a journal where we reflect on our experience of time under COVID-19 lockdowns through the lens of each thinker. When we got to Derrida's Speech and phenomena, several students remarked that they had already raised some of these problems all the way back in their Husserl journals. Obviously not in as much depth as you did, but still an interesting coincidence.
The law on police protection in France is aimed to prohibit displaying individual faces on social networks, which could lead to their identification, and menace to them and their families. It does not prohibit the filming of police action.
I'd never heard about Nussbaum perjuring herself. I did some quick search, and to double check, was what you were talking about the Romer vs. Evans case in Colorado where she testified about Ancient Greek homosexual practices?

I put it on my schedule, I put a sticky note on my wall, I had question written out and I still managed to forget about it.

Looks like those have Aristotle as the main character, so not quite the same
