    so I think handler Walter is visiting a dealer who has human bodies in storage because his previous squad was wiped out in the last mission, or just used to fulfill the mission. the dealer asks him to fill him in on what happened to them and mentions he’s helping clear his inventory suggesting he has quite a bit of humans in stock. near the foot of the operating table, if you look closely, the red substance being pumped into the subjects brain has a similar red segmented glow like the coral explosions from the reveal trailer. I think the coral is being used to forcibly upload the mind of the human pilot to the ac leaving the body lifeless or in a vegetable state. the bodies could possibly also be stored somewhere inside the ac during combat in order to keep the connection. any ac or machine with red lights with a vertical light bloom could have also undergone this procedure. the voice speaking during the mission is an operator who helps coordinate missions/ reports damages. it could be a computer or person. the pilots can not speak I believe. walter’s line to 621 he’ll give him a reason to exist, also indicates possibly 621’s body has been storage for a long time and that Walter himself has a purpose he wants to achieve on the planet

    This new trailer could serve as the game's introduction. The previous gameplay trailer depicted C4-621's first mission after he was awakened and landed from orbit.
    There are a lot of similarities between this story and Human Plus from Gen1. Keep Dying and get into debt -$50,000 6 times. Your body is shown being experimented on.

      This also supports the Human Plus theory in that, in AC1, when you acquire Human Plus, your name is reassigned to "Rebel" with a 3 digit number afterwards.

    Seems to me at least mostly like 621 is being purchased as a replacement for the loss of 617 619 and 620 after they where wiped out completing that mission, that the “giving you a reason to exist” is basically in reference to taking you off that table to fight and maybe earn a name for yourself rather then being a glorified piece of refrigerated meat waiting to be purchased or expire

    To be fair, a lot of ac games have you as a slave or disposable asset or have some serious players like that. Like human + made you a god pilot but you become s slave to an ai or have a high risk of going crazy. Or in 4A where your stuck doing wars on the surface of a polluted planet while the people in charge float above it. Plus you always hand some handler since atleast 2.

    • @btgplay
      @btgplay  Год назад +2

      I sort of agree, but in the Gen 1-3 games it was more like you were recruited into a group that gave you access to weapons and parts while taking on missions. If you didn't pull your weight then you'd go into debt and well...they would find other ways for you to pay them back. AC6 looks like you won't be cooperating with this Walter guy and instead be doing whatever order he tells you to just like a trained dog. I'm just curious now where does Walter gets his hounds from...

      We see 621 at the end. He is the one being woken up and told to get ready. If you watch the other trailer we see that 621 is in orbit and is sent down to carry on the missions. Also 617 isn’t dead. He is the one who reports that the mission is complete.

    Not sure about the reading of the trailer but you play 621. The others are hounds that went before but were taken out except 617 who survives to tell the mission was complete. He also seems to be the one on the cover. It looks like 621 was sent down to help. 621 did not take part in the battle. You can see on that overview map that it’s 617, 619, and 620.

    Given that C4 621 is the label on that core hanging above the body, they don't even give names to the 'pilots' or 'hounds', they just refer by their Cores. Which leaves it open for 617's 'CPU' to have been on the table, salvaged and put into C4 621. It would, after all, give them a reason to continue to exist.
    Edit: Thought I just had, the final boss of Verdict Day made a big deal out of war being the reason for it's existence. "There is no place for me other than the battlefield. To live as I please, and die a senseless death. That is who I am. Not a mere man of flesh. War is part of my existence." - J.
    Seems like Walter takes that view of C4 621's CPU. The phrase 'Human Debris' comes to mind in the worst way...
