    Wow they are so pretty. The very dainty white flower looks like Queen Anne's lace. I remember visiting my AFS in Oregan last year and picking them. Brought back to South Aftica. She was my child for a year in 1978. So blessed to still be in contact with her.

    ❤ the result. Beautiful. For gardening, never plant them together. They’ll end up tasting like the stronger veggie that’s planted. They’re also way too close together. I plant a lot here. Chase off the raccoons and bears that end up eating them before I get a chance. Just best to look up what you can plant beside each other. Save yourselves the headaches. Cucumbers need room also a trellis to climb on as do green beans. Many need climbing options.

    Those all came out so pretty. I love your fur babies. I've heard if veggies grow next to each other they will taste the same. We always made sure nothing was near each other when making our gardens. I've never heard of growing watermelon's in containers. Maybe if you move them out on the grass.

    • @glitznglitterbymichelle1
      @glitznglitterbymichelle1  Год назад +1

      Oh no!! I hope the watermelon and cucumber don’t taste the same ! Lol we only planted them to block Panda from going up that fountain chasing squirrels on the outside. Unfortunately I’m in a community that doesn’t allow gardening outside, stupid I know… 🤦‍♀️

      @@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Well If I were you I would just set that one plant pot outside on your grass making sure the vines are touching the grass. I'm very interested to see if they make any watermelons. Thay have tiny curly vine things that will hang on to the grass it's very important that u don't disturb them or move that pot. just set up another pot for him plant flowers in it or not its up to you. you may have to get some old timey cutters to trim around that plant on the grass so you won't kill your plant. one plant isn't a garden. I hate those kind of stupid rules.

    My first time watching this process, although I’ve used resin for other things. Can you not spritz it with alcohol to get rid of the bubbles? I’ve done that when I poured resin trays, etc. Do you use a respirator? I hate them, and they always give me a headache.

    • @glitznglitterbymichelle1
      @glitznglitterbymichelle1  11 месяцев назад

      I spritz my normal resin with 99% alcohol everyday, I honestly never tried that on UV resin before. No I do not wear a respirator, I have a whole house air filtration system that helps though. Merry Christmas Kathy!

    I think you'll find out that using the back of the mold for the front especially in UV resin results in more unevenness and dimpling. I am thinking you must be fairly new to this type of crafting as I noticed you being out of frame a lot and other newbie mistakes. Don't worry we were all new at some point (just not making videos at the same time). I watched a resin snake one before this and altho the end result was nice and you learned that oil paint is not suitable for coloring resin. Here are a few other things: What Colorants Should You Not Add To Epoxy Resin?
    There are various resin colorants that aren't recommend for tinting resin including oil paint, watercolor paint, latex paint, spray paint, nail polish, ground up chalk, spices like paprika and turmeric and food coloring.

    • @glitznglitterbymichelle1
      @glitznglitterbymichelle1  Год назад

      Yes I’m only a year into it, videos are a whole new world that has to be learned as well unfortunately. We did figure out that he mixed two parts of B. I have used oil paints before with no problems. I noticed today that part B is missing more than part A. Then rewatching the video his resin never cleared up either before adding color. I’m trying to improve as fast as I can with people’s comments, thank you.
