Because, and this is not to shoot down american writing. They tend to make their protagonist a good example for the kids, to the point that they for get everyone is not pure white and pure black in the moral area. However dreamworks, nicolodian , cartoon network seems to understand this. However dreamworks mostly has this down , with its flawed characters.
There's a lot more leeway for a bad character than a good one. You can do awful things as a bad character and people will laugh at it because it comes off as goofy. If a good character does it it comes off as out of character.
The best part about acting as Anastasia and Drizella is you can be as weird and as self-centered as you want. Plus you can make evil snooty faces and anyone and everyone (not to mention hit on all the hot (and "princes") guys you can find openly).
Both sets of Tremaines were SPOT ON. I hope the girls at Disneyworld are this hilarious! (I get to go in June, and it is on my BUCKET LIST to meet them!)
here's a tip that will really really help you! if you go to any disney park make sure you don't feel shy in front of the characters cuz really if you act shy you won't have fun with them you will just have a pic and leave ;)
Thanks for the tip!!! I went to Disney World a few years ago, and I was too shy to even approach the characters I saw. I did get enough courage to approach Kenai from Brother Bear at Animal Kingdom, but I was too shy to do anything other than get my picture and autograph with him. I'm going to try to not be as shy the next time I go to a Disney Park so I can have fun with the characters. I'm also planning on applying for the Disney College Program, so that hopefully will give me more confidence with interacting with the characters if I get an opportunity to do so.
I love the fact that Anastasia uses a lot of references from Cinderella 2. It makes me so happy because I loved that movie and Anatasia's relationship with the baker was so cute!
I died at how they`re making fun of Merida "Eww it`s Merida!" "you need to take a shower!" "your hair it`s filthy!!" & blow raspberries at each other in the end priceless!
I've been watching these vids for awhile now and I must say... These two. These frikin' two! ... They take the cake. I love them so much. xD Especially towards the ending, they act so much like real siblings. 20/10 performance, they have become the characters!
I think that playing the step sisters would be the coolest disney characters to play, or Peter Pan, because you can be so out there and crazy and it just works for that character! :3
after studying a few videos of them, I'm assuming that Anastasia's character is "frozen" to how she was right before the sequels. If you notice, she does seem more optimistic and romantic about it all where as Drizella is much more clearly materialistic and pushing her younger sister towards it as well. She also mentions the flower garland in the shape of a heart as being her idea of how to show your love-a foreshadowing reference to the sequels.
I love how they're the only ones who get to complain about how hot and tired they are, even though I'm sure all the other characters are thinking it. xD Also I now ship Drizela and Eric :P
As of now True Love Week was a one time thing during the week of Valentine's Day, no word if they're going to do it again. Although I really hope they do.

Lady Tremaine always reminded me of my grandmother. Like, no kidding, they look exactly the same. Even the hairstyle is on point. My grandmother raised me like she was my mom, so having her for a mother-in-law would be extremely awkward. But eh. Hot red-head. I'd put up with her for it. I mean, I just have to deal with her around the holidays, right?
