Yes, almost every negative display have this problem. It was caused by tiny gap between black display and semi reflective background (grey). On angled position, reflective background couldn't reflect lights to our eyes, but covered ny shadow from black display.
I still bought the Tan with Negative display as ill be using it while im out and about and work during daytime at a where house with good lighting wish it wasnt negative but i only paid $12.99 as i used a $10 dollar coupon
