ive learned from tacullar that you can put that last command in your steam settings for rust under “launch options” and it will automatically apply everytime you start rust so you dont have to press f5
Thanks warr, mostly i have the same options/binds but i have 5k hours and did not knew that show blood actualy removes that curse hahah. I think you saved some players tilt reason when low hp.
the biggest thing ive noticed from these new rust videos is the lack of volume with your mic when you talk.... other than that. great video and ill def be using these settings
Here's a quick tip for those struggling with updating their cfg settings regularly and wanting to avoid pressing F5 each time they load the game: you can convert the cfg file into a read-only file. This prevents automatic changes, allowing you to modify settings when needed. Simply uncheck 'read only,' make your adjustments, save, and then check 'read only' again. You can locate the cfg file by navigating to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\cfg.
glad your playing again bro your definitely still the best player in my opinion i have copped these giga chad settings bro and let me tell you there amazing i actually can play now without fps drops
Hello, everyone. I understand that personal preference plays a significant role, but I'm seeking advice on whether it's more effective to play with a lower sensitivity for improved aim (enduring a challenging spray until you adapt) or a higher sensitivity for a more agile spray, adjusting to the aim over time. Drawing from my experience in CS as a Level 10 Faceit player with over 13,000 hours, I would recommend new players to acclimate to a lower sensitivity for consistent aim. However, these games differ, as CS maintains a constant map and angles, whereas Rust features a random map with constantly changing angles, excluding the monuments. Given these distinctions, what sensitivity should I opt for?
given that you are accustomed to a lower sense i would favour that, i was much the same before i started playing rust and still am. that being said I do think slightly raising your sense would be beneficial for close range pvp, i personally run 800 dpi with a 0.3 and a 0.15 ads, its important to note that from what I've heard this is still on the lower end for rust. what's important is that this is a tad bit above what I run in most other games and I recommend you do the same. hope this helps, feel free to ask more questions!
i would think a higher sens for rust since you can be less precise and the spray control is harder, but i’m pretty bad at rust so take what i say with a grain of salt :) my sens: 800dpi .4 in game
Even tho it was kind of boring I love that you explained everything. If you are a new player you don’t always know what this or that means and we’re just watching someone change shit that doesn’t make any sense so thank you for that 🙏
one time i was playing around with the setting just sitting on a boat outside of harbor where the barrels spawn in the ocean. harbor was a blur and the moment I turned on sharpen I realized 3 guys were pushing towards the edge near recycler and started blasting me and then I saw the difference.
Playing on an nvidia GeForce, Gtx 1060 3gb with graphics quality on HIGH I was getting 40fps average roaming around and inside the base is 60fps and now I get consistent 60 FPS I also had to turn VSYNC back on because of screen tears but I feel like that’s because my monitor can’t handle more than 60 and with it turned off, it was spiking to like 75 FPS
keep it up bro, glad you found yourself and worked out whatever , im sure it was just from your ole girl leaving , but i try to quit rust and i cant, damn best game ever made haha.... cheers
2 questions for the commands. When I load up rust do I have to re type the commands? And also when I join a new server do I also have to re type in the commands?

anyone have any tips to keep the potato look but get rid of all the annoying waving textures and jagged edges? i just upgraded from a 1060 to a 4060 and im not going to lie my game looks EXACTLY the same. jagged af and textures flashing idk wtf to do
I picked up a razer Naga to have more buttons on the side of my mouse. All item slots 1-6 are on the mouse as well as a few macros and all the original settings as well. Once you get used to it, it becomes a world changer. No more having to fumble around the keyboard for things other than map toggle and duck. It becomes impossible to play any other game without having 90% of commands dedicated to the mouse.
Has anyone had performance issues since the Christmas update? Ever since that update I have horrible stutters that make the game unplayable. I go from 150fps to 5. Anyone have advice?
warrior what about the focus setting where u press a keybind and when you are looking at somewhere random in the map it immediately comes back to wherever your player is
my graphics card is so bad plus its also integrated so i have to play on potato and everything 0 besides draw distance or my freeze framing is way worse 😥
