    What stem have you used in this vides. Regular or recessed. I would like to buy one, but I'm confused with that. Thanks.

    • @CosmoCaps
      @CosmoCaps  Год назад +1

      I have the regular one! I'm actually not too sure on the exact differences between the two. Would be best to join the Z-butt discord and ask there!

    Hi there! Thank you for making such a helpful video! I had a question regarding the curing process. I've read that a vacuum chamber is needed for minimizing bubbles but saw that you were using a pressure pot instead. does that mean a vacuum chamber is unnecessary? Thanks!

    • @CosmoCaps
      @CosmoCaps  2 года назад

      Thank you for watching!!! So.. IMO you don't need a vacuum chamber. Most of the keycap makers I've seen tend to use a pressure pot for both the silicone and resins.

    is there a way to duplicate the z butt pieces using the legos instead of the no hassle container?

    • @CosmoCaps

      Possibly! Best to ask the Z-butt discord for help - I'm not too sure as I've never tried using legos myself.

    What is the material you used when you printed the Z butt system? PLA? Resin?

    • @CosmoCaps
      @CosmoCaps  3 года назад

      I bought mine from Zappy directly. So I didn't print anything!
      I think generally they use resin printers though.

      I had issues with printing company.. they failed multiple times to print perfect dimensions..

      Zappy includes them if you order the kit from his website!
      Otherwise, you can always buy the metal poles yourself. I believe they are 3mm metal dowels.
