  • Using my Fisher Gemini 3 during our artic blast in New Hampshire. I had to give it a try as I finally got a good deal on one. Very easy and simple to set up and use. I tested it on some work out weights,rusty axe head from the 1800's and a little jar of coins. I would consider this test in my drive way kinda like an air test. I did do a few live digs also in my woods.

    i had hit almost 9 feet with this kind of machine, and love using it for treasure hunting, but all my videos are in Spanish so far, i might upload some in English earlier or later. i have a feeling that in a low mineral soil i should be able to go even more deep.

    I though that the normal use was to affix the receiver to the shaft in the forward position so as to be readable and trail the transmitter. What am I missing?

    How is that boat stick on the lower back, in the cold, crouch walking?
    G-3 directional control, a '72 Country Squire station wagon bald tires, on ice.
    Perchance does it have a recumbent bicycle style support accessories.
    The E-trac is s l i g h t l y cumbersome with 13" coil,.. on sloped rough terrain.
    But G-3 on a slope, MEDIC !
    Hope you dig massive cache of coins with that oar you are fishing with.
    To your north there aren't any, so I will not need one, ha!

      It's designed to locate buried pipes/cables for utility companies so it will find any ferrous metals.

    Did this guy have the receiver head on back to front??? The most important setting is on the tuning knob... Great machine, wish it could come out with a 3d screen and depth detector...

    I was expecting more out of this machine as far as depth. It started to fade off quicker than I would've guessed on those items.

    • @jsmith5167
      @jsmith5167 6 лет назад

      Exactly. I saw a lot here in this demo. It appears no different at all from a single coil unit in function. A one hander would have easily found every one of those targets, and at the same depths below the surface. Now I am wondering what he got soaked for this unit. If it has discrimination, why isn't he using it? I bought my first White's new in '69, still have it, works as good as most anything else out there today.

    • @paulmcfeeters5554
      @paulmcfeeters5554 3 года назад

      It "fades off quickly" because it is designed to find buried pipes/cables. It is an accurate professional tool, some folks say it will go to 15 feet but I've never had to locate a pipe that deep yet. If you watch the YT training video for the Fisher TW-6 you will see how it's designed to be used.

    you are not using that thing correctly. the items should be buried. at 1 point you said "well thats about 2 feet off the ground"....dude you are obviously new to this. stop making videos using equipment youve never used and dont make videos that locates things at multiple depths then try to test it by having items on top the ground at no depth.
