I love that sound, too! My 8-y/o mini doxie, Murphy, passed away 2 mos ago from anal sac adenocarcinoma. In late April 2022 he was given a 3-6 month prognosis, but he was a tough little guy & we were blessed to have a full year with him before he passed. I so miss the tick-tick-tick sound of his toes on the floor, along with a thousand other things. I'm just finally starting to be able to watch videos like this now & smile again.
I have a 13 year old long-hair mini and a 1 year old (puppy) standard long hair dachshunds. They wrestle all the time but there are clearly times the old man just isn’t in the mood to put up with the foolishness of the puppy.
They younger ones keep Abby more active than I feel she would be without them, but like you said, she definitely has times when she wants no part in their antics.
@@LisaMarshall0 to be honest, Lisa - I didn't watch the entire short before I posted my comment. I didn't notice the elder doxie until afterwards. My Gretchen ('tweenie doxie, short hair) got frisky once in a great while. I had to put her down, at 17 years old. (holding back tears) They are truly a treasure, are they not?
Yeah honestly. Can't stop dogs from being dogs, you can only try your best. That's what we do with our sausage. All kinds of ramps etc but they skip it when it's playtime 😂😂
Who needs WWE when you've got dachshunds?
Two hotdogs fighting…so cute
Awww... how cutely they are playing together, look so adorable🥰🥰😍😍😘😘
Sweet babies... I dearly miss the grumble of my own. 😢❤
they are so adorable!!!
Love them!
Such cuties. :) "Mom she called me a weenie!" haha
I was immensely entertained by that. The elder pooch was a bonus. 😇
Glad to hear that! Thanks for watching!
Love the little ticky toes on the floor.
The pitter-patter of little puppy dog feet 💜

Oh my goodness. I used to have a wennie like Annabelle. I miss her.
So relatable 😂
Funny but this is a good time to get between them and make them be nice before someone gets hurt
Cute❤

Why are doxies so angry and think they’re the boss 😂
They don't know their own size!
You don't want a big dog with that attitude, that's for sure.
Why does the sun shine? :-)
Don’t allow them to jump off the couch. They will develop back problems. Very common problem.
super dogs funny cute
Give those dogs a decent walk!
They get plenty of walks and they love to play fetch so they get plenty of exercise! 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think the light brown one won.
Hi

Just goes to prove...it takes two to tangle!
Sometimes 3...When the oldest is feeling froggy!

@jimford9920 They are absolute treasures 💜 I am dreading when that day comes for Abby.
Это какбэ таксы.
Dachshunds are prone to back injuries, you should get a ramp for the couch/bed so they are less likely to injure their backs as they get older
They have ramps for both the couch and bed. They choose to skip it when playing despite my attempts to redirect them.

@@atocombabaya Exactly!
Isn't that brown dog a Drever?
She is a Dachshund through and through. The white spots are piebald-like markings.
@@LisaMarshall0 ok :D thanks. Just looked like a drever, they are slightly bigger than dachshunds.
@@FabledGentleman I had to look up Drevers as I have never heard of that breed. Learned something new today, thank you!
