As to the car If it's still stating it t needs a regen You need to drive it for a real good distance at the same speed It's usually around 2.5k rpm Regardless to speed you need to be at that rpm for along time If it's over due pull up for 5 mins after it's cleared and it may go again Try not to drive it outside of these conditions as the added fuel that is used for regenning them can also make it worse/more blocked when not driven close to 2.5k If it's got a turbo it's normally just 500 rpm after you hear it activate Know this is an older video but it's very useful to know

Thousands will have watch you and you get 99% great comments so that tells me you got ne need to be anxious you can hold your head high .ones again thanks for all your work
Fabulous, Diane; how lovely of you to go back to the children's centre to give a talk on narrowboats. I hope it went well for everyone. 😀 The landowner was such a nice chap, and contrary to the video description, There was no BIG CONFRONTATION. I'm sorry to say that that was quite misleading. The 'strange turn' was wonderful, though. ☺
Josh has to put titles like this to get more views sorry. I loved doing the talk to the teenager's. It was a big out of my comfort zone, not used to speaking to an audience but loved the opportunity
Aww a lovely vlog and so nice to see the sunshine too. What a nice guy from the mental health and well being facility, I hope your talk went well Diane 😊
I have enjoyed watching the way folks "across the pond" live on boats - here in the US we have such a different way as we don't have canals like y'all do in England. I love the long, deep boats that are perfectly suited for your canals - they really are lovely. I lived on a 14x50 foot houseboard in a marina off the Ohio River for three years. My boat did not have a working engine so she was docked the entire time I lived there. I really wished she had had a working engine so that I could have travelled just a ways either up or down river. I lived in Cincinnati, OH and would have enjoyed visiting the headwaters of the Ohio River in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or where it ends right at Cairo, Illinois as it empties into the Mississippi River. I am sorry you all are stuck while the canal system is fixed and the water level returns to normal (so your boat floats again). At least you can explore a bit in that area and it does look like a pretty area to be stuck!
It is a bit frustrating for us as we are used to cruising every 2 to 3 days but Jo's I keeping busy with filming and editing vlogs everyday and I am answering everyone's comments so we arent getting bored
Gorgeous new member of the family, some stunning ocean sounds and colours and a rugged beach. A great place to have had as a childhood home and lovely to go back too. It was fabulous scenery on your walk too and a bonus to find such a lovely person who's running a centre with heart and clearly has a very good heart himself. Lovely video. Thank you!

Hi Jan. The talk went very well but even I was a bit out of my comfort zone talking in front of a bunch of teenagers. But surprised my self and done a good job I think😊
You just need to know how to speak to people that comes with age I think and I have tgat kind of personality that I can talk to anyone. Josh has social anxiety and find it much harder. Josh probably wouldn't have even excepted his offer to been shown around.
Ey up me ducks. How wonderful did that walk turn out to be and what a lovely guy and place where he worked with all those lovely animals. As an avid walker myself I really enjoyed this one 👍🙂
It was a bit worrying at first when he came up to us but it ended up being a wonderful day and we thoroughly loved being shown around. Also I loved doing the talk and think it went well
The landowner gent is right to be concerned about his alpacas being near to Birmingham he has probably heard about Rosie and Jim they live on a narrowboat they probably use wool to make ragdolls in Birmingham. P.S. Diane enjoy the duck eggs
dpf,s a pain in the butt guys ,try some dipetane additive into your fuel tank got mine from halfords about £12 depending on how much you add normally it will treat about 6 tank top ups ,it cleans the injectors too also the dpf as mine was blocked up.running a lot nicer now .love your vlogs and hope you get sailing again soon

Bit overwhelming for me not used to talking to lots of people and I have to keep them focused on me but managed to keep them engrossed so quite proud of myself 😊
He was such a lovely man in the end but at first when he approached us Jo's with his society anxiety was getting a bit panicked. I told him to leave it to me and It turned out great in the end
@TaylorsAboardaNarrowboat Hi. That was after I left. Was an hour's bus ride to & from school for us. Never actually saw the sea front in Ilfracombe but did watch your video of you walking the dogs & grandbaby there. Lovely life you've chosen both in Ilfracombe & on the long boat 😊
That's right it is the landmark theatre. Andy has seen Jethro here and many other comedian and stars have preformed there. We call them Madonna bra lol 😂
Once you have the parts and diesel particle filter you will need to use a bit of injecter cleaner, or else it will just clog back up in 5 or 6 months again. Great video josh, you need a skate board the dogs could pull you along, or roller skates, lol.
Even though I can talk to anyone I did feel a bit out of my comfort zone talking aloud in front of a bunch of teenagers but I managed I and it went okay. Quite proud of myself actually
I used to holiday in ilfracombe and woolacombe when i was in my early teens with my parents, (now in my 40's). There used to be a bakery next to or behind the lifeboat station that sold something called lardy cake. Never seen it anywhere else, it was like bread with fruit, sticky, sweet and delicious, dont suppose there still selling it are they? It is some 30years ago. Was always the one of the highlights of the holiday.
Don't think that bakery is there now but lardy cake is Andys favourite. Tried to get It for him recently but no where sells it and the bakery that was there in the high street isn't there now but when a asked for it a few years ago in there they said its too fattening and unhealthy and aren't allowed to sell I now😊
Josh, im really surprised how you can make RUclips videos with having anxiety. I suffer quite bad with anxiety and find it very hard to socialise. I tend to spend a lot of time on my own or with girlfriend. I prefer the countryside over towns/ cities due to facing people. I have been watching your videos about the canal breach. I found it interesting as we have visited the kennet and Avon canal a few times whilst camping.
It's okay for Josh most of the time as he is behind the camera. This has been very hard for him as he is I front of the camera. We hope this will help him with his social anxiety
Beautiful walking paths. I felt bad for the horse . He or she just wanted some attention or maybe a sugar cube. What’s the name of beach you took the dogs to?
To stop the DPF getting clogged you need to bring the car on the motorway, leave it in the second highest gear and drive it for at least 20 km over 2,500 revs with no breaking. It reddens the filter and clears off the particles on it. You would need to do this at least once a month.
I tried finding you on FB (in in the U.S.) but its not coming up and then asks for a city. Car troubles, right?! I changed my oil a few days ago and I get the car on the ramps and get under there and my engine should is gone! It's connected with around 8 bolts and I think I would have remembered if I accidentally went off roading and hit something that hard to rip it off😂😮Oh well, I have to get creative a lot with repairs being money poor my whole life. Anyway, love your videos.

As an older person, I generally steer clear of dramatic titles as im old enough to know it will be just a storm in a teacup. A title like "a look around Ilfracombe and meet the animals" would be far more attractive to myself. Sometimes less is more depending on your audience. Thanks for the video 😊😊
