Since the Gift of Titans buff does prevent pride effects, as long as healers aren't already behind they should be able to just let the buffed healer do all the dispels to prevent extra pride from that. Always seems to choose one healer for Gift.
Just watched the first 4 bosses before I go into the raid ... I hate going in stupid lol ... and I have to say you did a great job explaining all of the mechanics. Your accents make it much more interesting. lol

For DKs, it can be good to hit 100 pride, as you can Anti-Magic Shell the Swelling Pride every time, and blocking all damage stops any aftereffects. Free DPS buff.

I got so happy when i saw SoO on my first page !!!!!!!!!
It's worth noting that the boss' rotation resets when he goes into Phase 2.
Namely, after killing Norushen and resetting your Pride, his next ability will always be Self-Reflection, regardless of where in his cycle of Reflection > Prison > Manifestation > Swelling Pride he was at.

I got the mega pride thingy that mind controls last night at the very end of the boss after he resets the pride scale!
The last sha should've been the Sha of Swag, and he should've shouted "YOLO" upon encounter =P
I have a question, hopefully if not Fatboss then one of you might know the answer, During Self-Reflection, what causes a gazillion adds to pop up?
does it just get progressively worse as the fight goes on or does pride affect how many each player individually spawns?
they talk about swelling pride and it's different effects based on how much pride you have from about 1:09 to 3:30.
You forgot to mention that players no longer gain Gift of the Titans from Norushen after the boss has gone into his Unleashed phase.

It got more difficult at galakras and dark shammies. But I do agree. Wasn't very difficult. I suppose this is a good thing, as the difficulty curve has been smooth atm (8/14).
Mass Dispel does not work (even glyphed, grrr) so single-target dispels have to be used. I still think the Gift healer should handle it, as the DoT isn't overwhelming if the Gift healer dispels quickly and on CD.

The U.I looks to be a combo of dominos, vuhdo, skada, quartz, DBM, and class timers.. I myself use these addons and my U.I looks very similar. Hope this helps :)

This fight doesn't seem like the cho'gall fight at all imo. Both are very cool though
Question: with the titans buff, would it be possible with a healer with the buff mass dispell all the players with the ticking debuff and not gain pride?

I went into LFR today to practice this boss before going in with my guild and Jesus Christ, people are so bad.
LFR. Not even once.
The other night I was tanking this fight on flex, and the other tank and I were gaining pride way too fast. We were aggro'ing off each other flawlessly each Wounded Pride, and the raid got the adds that spawned on us relatively fast. What's going wrong here? We hit the wall because one or both of the tanks are being mind controlled at 32%, help?

This fight is basically cho gall cool lock mechanic though

yer me and my gulid only hade 3 wipes and 4 wipes on iron juggernaut there to easy but then it starts to get hard at thok rest all bosses befor are faceroll

ok, i have one question wich i cant seem to find the answer to anywhere. I am playing a mage, and i NEVER get the fucking Gift of the titans buff. Im always on top DPS in my guild, i know im doing the rest of the encounter correctly. but i never get gift of the titans, i think ive had it once or twice, but other than that i never get it out of like 30-40 clears on normal dificulty. even killed the dude on heroic like 3 times. still dont get the buff. what am i doing wrong?
Like if this is RNG i gotta be super unlucky.
