    One major takeaway from this podcast is that lots of RPers love Whippy. That warms my heart. If there was a NoPixel award and members of the community voted, Whippy won be up there for "Rper's RPer"

    I dont even watch GTA RP, this is just enjoyable to watch. GTA RP is really like a big game of DnD in GTA and its so fun to hear people talk about it and discuss it.

    Pretty amused that apparently so many people meta gamed throwing hot dogs to distract cornwood and self reported. No hate. Just amused.

    Glad I happened to watch Blau stream when this was streamed, never knew about this podcast before but it's really fun. Watched most older episodes back.
    Hope to see an episode with perhaps some interns like Hauwnted (Cau), Dimo (brekker) and like Melty (ari). The interns have made for some of the most interesting story development so far in 4.0 imo

    I love this podcast and will watch every ep because no one with a big platform is doing this, but I think Blau could improve as a host a bit. I would say less wishy-washy and more cut to the chase. I like that he invites disagreement, but I think you can just express your opinion and then do that rather than going "Hot take", "I don't know" and trying to seem "chill" too much that it comes off as forced. Blau's virtue is when he actually knows stuff but ironically it comes off as more braggy the more humble he is, if he was just matter-of-fact I think his contributions would shine more

      Love this comment, going to be working on hosting skills and just getting better at podcasting in general!

      @@RoleplayPodcast You're good at establishing a social baseline, maybe just underestimating yourself.
      I would say if any particular advice resonates with you then go for it, but if it doesn't quite click then it's ok to discard it because what a comment wants and what is actually good may not always align

    100% ACAB means ALL cops, even Cornwood

  • @imaginairemusicalt
    @imaginairemusicalt 8 месяцев назад +2

    In regards to the cops getting hate, as a crim viewer (who doesn't hate cops in the server but I can see the viewpoint) cops have power balanced in their favor, let's be honest the cops that don't get as much hate are the ones that tend to somewhat limit their power level

    esfand has to be the best icl cornwood is the best character

  • @JTheHunt
    @JTheHunt 8 месяцев назад +7

    I think Esfand builds up the issue of viewers criticizing Characters as hard as he says they do in his head. I think this meta way of playing is actually ruining rp, why the hell everytime cornwood is in the cells, he starts explaining how Los Santos is so unique and way too much ooc bs. Like bro just keep it to the RP, your the one taking it OOC and making viewers do this. You cultivate the audience you have, this is especially true on twitch. Idk its getting to be so annoying that he needs to go on speeches all the time on ooc issues, while in character. Also stop shaming viewers for being invested in characters, how can you start this podcast off saying "we love making scenes where it feels like a tv show and there are cool story lines" and in the next breathe say, "I can't believe people get so invested into a character and self insert". Brother, this is what has always happened just like a TV show. It is super annoying and when any criticism is thrown his way, he immediately just chalks it up to "oh im sorry your streamer lost", like nice bro, your shaming RP viewers for being human and being invested into their entertainment, almost like any sports watcher ever, any anime viewer ever, any esports viewer ever, any viewer of literally anything ever.

      I agree, there are just like in all forms of entertainment some viewers (fans) who go too far an do death threats an make insane hate threads, which I believe is what directly most rp streamers think of immediately when they start seeing toxic comments float around in chat after something unfavorable happens. So it leads to the streamer gaslighting the whole audience into "go touch grass, it's a video game" I get both sides but honestly if viewers weren't invested they wouldn't watch. I was watching a Shotz stream like a year a ln a half ago an he was on his cop character (Mineo) He went to a bank during a robbery in paleto and it finished, he stayed behind with the hostage as the other officers did the chase, it was him an another cop there both had there cop cars. The hostage asked shotz if it would be possible to get a ride back to the city as she was taken from work an had no way of getting back, Shotz then says to his chat "watch boys let's make a Karen omegalul" he then proceeded to tell her no its not his problem, she articulated that she was abducted an was a victim an she begged for a ride again (calmly) he then began screaming at her calling her a dumbfuck an said get the walking it was really weird imo the other cop was quiet the whole time. He then left her there, the chat began giving him shit for it an he started yelling at chat calling snowflake weirdos that need to touch grass. It was all very weird, cause obviously it's a game dude nobody is arguing that but damn bruh bffr.

    will say my frustration with cops comes from the double standards usually, they will bitch and moan about crims, but there morals and ethics and integrity goes out of the window as soon as another cop does a crime, it becomes cover up city lmfao
    also think actually having some crim mains on would be goo-d

    • @aleksandergolembka8659
      @aleksandergolembka8659 8 месяцев назад +3

      Crims having cop characters is the way to go, it's crims who complain about the cops non stop, not the other way around

    • @havox112
      @havox112 8 месяцев назад

      crim mains are only going to be there every so often because their progress right now is more important than being a cop

    • @griffey3784
      @griffey3784 8 месяцев назад +5

      Well custy was a crim main, he was the vp of bbmc at the end of 3.0 and invited to be the skeleton crew for 4.0. I think him having that balance of both sides is why he's such a great cop

    Wrong about cop hate.....when cops are too serious ..thats shtty....or go too hard for a win..... Shtty....when cops are light hearted and have fun thats good...and you can be strict but still light hearted ...the cops get too serious....you guys view on viewers is right maby 10% of the viewers....but the most its just we watch this stuff to have fun and get away from the real world....and when you come into a gta video and cops are being the kind of dick real world cops are....then now your ruining the place where people go to wind down......i think all cops need to play crim manditory so they can see how the cops actually come off.....that self insert comment is just a way to make you guys feel like cops are douches from time to time.....in 4.0....the whole city is in one bubble..how it feels and moves how it feels....and the cops are in a totaly diff world 80% of the time......the game is gta...not cops...i never comment on RP videos...but this conversation made me put this one down...
