Very instructive video ! Perfect for me and my wife to learn sailing with our first sailboat : a Pearson 31-2 ! Thank you Tom and Helen :-) Denis and Christine
I’ve watched a few of your videos, and I absolutely love the explanations and different camera angles. Thank you for the help on studying for my sailing class and test!!
Great stuff. Very clear and all the right points covered. The only improvement I can suggest would be to lower the music in the sound mix: it blocks the voice-over in a few places.
your videos are detailed and excellent teaching. However the music needs to be lowered in volume in several spots on all your videos-you have a great teaching voice! Don't let it get drowned out. :)
Really enjoying your videos. Even with basic tasks like this I'm finding helpful tips that will make my sailing easier, safer and more enjoyable. please, please PLEASE lose the "music" though!
As usual, an excellent video - slow moving (enough time for a viewer to digest) and very detailed. The only 2 suggestions I have, if you don't mind of course are: 1. The music is very loud at times. Sometime it makes it hard to hear the words. 2. Why not use 2 winch handles - one on each side of the boat, instead of always moving it from one side to the other?
None ... other than if the traveller is not trimmed in the center position. If so, after the tack, adjust the traveller to mirror its position on the prior tack
The BEST sailing videos online. My wife and I bought a cruising sailboat after a few years with our Laser, so these videos are perfect for us. Thanks!
Very thorough instructional video. I like having a tutorial that demonstrates everyone's duties. Thanks.

What a great and informative video thank you
Good order and structure in tacking and gybing thàt you dont find in other videos. Nice job 👍.
Your videos are very informative and useful. Thank you so much!
Nice video. The jumping around didnt even both me since the instructional content was there. Repetition is a good way to drive the point home.

Having two genoa winch handles would be sweet, but a new one is $100+ and we unfortuantely are trying to sail on a bit of a budget...
Thanks, great info.
the music is much too loud, but the instruction is great. thanks!
Informative video but music is very distracting.
you are the best..
Thankx, very good teachings. Only the music is a little nerv wrecking.
Looks like a nice Pearson 33-2
Thanks, it is actually a smaller sister the P31-2. I will publish a video of that boat shortly.
What actions are needed on the main sheet?
None ... other than if the traveller is not trimmed in the center position. If so, after the tack, adjust the traveller to mirror its position on the prior tack
Great instructions! The music is very distracting
No music needed! Distracts!

Cwew?
Please get rid of the music, I want to hear the crew say ready to my commands.
A simpler typeface would make easier reading
Great video but the music is really distracting and annoying.
Good video, but please get rid of the music.
