i have some Majorette, everything about the quality cannot be denied; impressive. it is just the scaling which seems to be off; too bulky or big and don't fit with other brands consistent scaling. For me it is the only let down.
Man, no doubt that Majorette are nice. They are just a different thing. They are not "hot wheels killer" or anything else killer, and hot wheels or anything else is not a killer of anything else. Every long lasting brand has it's unique spirit which can't be replaced
I wouldn't say they are Hot Wheels killers per se, but a lot of these Majorette castings are kinda nice. The only thing about majorette is the door gaps can be a little too wide, the working suspension lifts some cars a bit too high off the ground, and the engine detail in other cars still suck. But for castings that are more like "pure toys", some of them are kinda impressive. Majorette has been stepping it up, I'll give them that.
This is a cool video! As for others comments on the pop ups, I have to agree that they are distracting and unecessary. Your review comments are fine as they are and interesting enough!
I am a huge HW fan, but right after getting my first majorette made me think that it is better to buy majorette cars rather than getting HW premium. Just my opinion😅
I have several majorette cars, nice cars, I think it could improve body wise, some Porsche models are kinda bulky so are the tires. The skylines I have are nice.
I’m curious about how they did the suspension, I might know of a way to get the scratches out of the windshields if you’re wanting to get rid of the scratches. I definitely need to go grab one of those gtr’s they look killer! Also the music is killing it!
I haven't bought a single hot wheel for 6 months, tired of the endless recolours and the scalping that happens. Started collecting pop race instead, some of the castings on the way are on the level of inno64 details, for slightly more than MiniGT pricing.
quite surprising to see majorette finally stepping up on their cars. some of their basics weren't really that great looking but damn these ones are something else
The biggest problem with Majorette is lack of availability. Majorette's catalog is killer. They have really good stuff but now the the parent company also owns Jada toys and it seems like they won't complete with themselves. Maybe i just need to find a good online retailer.
I'm really facing this issue, because when I walk into a store, I only see one or two majorettes, so I dont really have many choices, and the cards are always completely destroyed for some reason. As for online, everything is like 5x the price, so not really any good options there.
@Hugo-ul9ou I have never seen or notice this brand until tonight at a Walmart. I saw a few on the pegs and the cars are nice and like HWNinja said, almost half the the price of the HW premiums that are in the pegs next to them. First time I have seen these. Will be hunting these and scooping them up when I see them now.
@@aznsketcher nad if u get the majorette that cost same as Hot wheels premium you will get: also rubber tires, suspension in most Cars, openable parts, and detailed Paint also

Majorette still looks "chunky" scale. I know peeps like JDM and will buy anyways but it still looks weird to me. Maybe, Hot Wheels are not to scale and skewing my view???
Are these popular in the US or are they bigger out of the country. I got a couple and you’re right I personally feel like the wheels could be cooler but I mean they aren’t Matchbox style 😹
I agree, and because of that I've left them alone in the past, but hopefully we'll see some more consistency from them in the future. Thank you for watching!
@@ShaneFNinja yep, I didn't know about their issue with the scales... I bought a Porsche exclusive set and saw the info on the box that the models were 1:60 1:something etc... and it was a big disappointment as a result, I gave it as a gift to a friend
Majorette can look amazing, but their scaling is ridiculous. 1 majorette car on its own can look very nice, put it beside 2 others and straight away you can see how terrible the scaling is. (A beetle is wider and taller than a VW combi van which is the same length as a 911 GT3)
Hot wheels will always be the most dominate player in the diecast. sure hot wheels is pretty inferior to many brands but reality is people don't really care lol
So far, I'm inclined to agree. The rate they pump out new castings and recolours is second to none. Other brands do not have the same outputs or low price points (in the US anyway as HW are getting more and more expensive in UK) even if their quality is higher. For premium 1/64 collectors, I'd say MiniGT is the dominant player right now.
MiniGT probably is hands down probably one of the best value diecasts you can get but as far as i know its far from dominate well here in australia anyway its generally only avialiable online and in some select stores.
