  • On our second day in San Diego we head to old town, Cabrillo national monument, and ocean beach. We also eat at Phil's BBQ, Mikes Taco Club, and Juniper and Ivy.

    Legendary.
    All about the sauce. And yes, messy and destroying laundry!
    We loooved the churros in Old Town, and the mariachi performances were second to none.
    Point Loma! Yaaassss. And the seafood there is unbeatable for the value.
    Darn tower closed.
    Yeah, let the surfers do the surfing.
    Tacos on a beach > pizza on a beach.
    Deviled eggs…not expected to be a San Diego delicacy. But nice!
    That town does Italian right. Little Italy is fantastic.
    They aced the hangar steak!
    Wait…nectarine tartar sauce?
    When you come to our new home of Philly, we’ll find you a world class brisket cheesesteak.
