Thank you for this. I have an autistic brother too, and I cried the whole video. I haven't watched the drama yet, but I plan to when I finish my school-related tasks. I was really surprised that a k-drama covered this topic, especially from the sibling's perspective, and I hope it makes people understand autism more. I even don't understand it yet, I have so many biases and problematic thinking too. I always fantasized about running away from my responsibilities too, but I know that I'm always gonna find my way back to him, I grew to love him too much to just abandon him. This is not his fault, this is no one's fault, and I just have to understand him more. I gotta get my shit together, so I can give him a comfortable future, so we can be happy together. I always ran away from my responsibilities, especially when it came to him, but I'll gladly accept everything now. Quarantine has been hard on him, and I just shut down and let my parents took care of everything. I gotta help, I gotta start to learn how to deal with him. And this video just made me even more excited to watch this k-drama lmao

Yeah...I can totally relate to this video. I have a big sister with down syndrome and I cried while watching the whole video. Even though I've watched this way before it doesn't fail to make me cry each time. A couple days ago I started watching this drama. It really helped me to find out the real reason for my depression that I've been searching for my whole life. I know I'm not perfect for her and always Runaway from my responsibilities.
It felt like this drama is a complete copy of my life.
I've felt that partiality from parents too, they aren't doing it intentionally.
My parents do anything for me and which is why I'm more depressed.
Cause I don't deserve this much love. I'm not even doing anything. It feels like I'm a ungrateful child.
As an introvert I am also struggling with being not able to show my love for her. I wonder if one day I could hug her tightly and say sorry as much as I can but .....still, that won't be enough for all the faults I've done to her : )

I loved these brothers, Sang Tae and Kang Tae's actors both fit them so perfectly.. and their relationship portrayed so many realistic feelings even if it was in extreme ways, the jealousy between siblings, their co-dependance, their youth, their silly interactions, the inner parent, the need for family... the path to independence.... I loved every part of this drama but the brothers were by far one of my favorites.
I finished this drama yesterday and this was just what I needed to keep crying forever. This is so beautiful!

I could never appreciate this drama enough for focusing the whole plot around a mentally handicapped person, Oh Jung-Se
Who has undoubtedly been the most amazing actor in the whole show
Fight the social stigma against isolating and belittling people with an unsound mind or people who are psychologically unstable
Instead love them and support them to the end of the world
Because they're human beings who were born without the physical and psychological abilities that we all take for granted
They don't deserve anything but all of our love and support like all the kind hearted people in this show have portrayed so perfectly that it made us cry in every single scene.
That last line made me shiver... it was so deep... reminds me of the moment when he went around saying "I save my brother and sister." ... I was a proud mother at that moment.
i'm autistic and?? i must admit i'm not entirely _used_ to seeing explicitly autistic characters who are given arcs like this-i'm much, much more used to seeing "savants" or ~uwu baby~ type stock-characters, who never quite have the same complexity or are never really given equal arcs to their non-autistic counterparts. this show's different, and i really came to love this representation for a lot of different reasons. i think you've managed to capture the beauty in the complexity that sang-tae (and kang-tae) has really really well. thank you💕

It is literally a masterpiece , a new idea , not everyone is talking about autism. Gang- tae feels that taking care of his brother is burdensome and the way his mom giving him this responsibility when he is still young made him thought that this is unfair. The way his thoughts changed and trying to provide a bright future for his brother makes you cry involuntary. The way How sang-tae is so pure and innocent , he doesn't deserve to hear his brother wishing him to die. I am sad for both , it is really nobody's fault. This drama made my eyes puff from crying. Can't get over it , touchdown to this masterpiece.

This has become one of my favourites of yours, I really love the way you told this painful side of their story. And I seriously hope viewers who hate will become more open-minded because this is more than just a kdrama. If people are that ignorant and hateful, we definitely need more realistic dramas like this.
