O' Spring, you bitter sweet bastard. Got the bike out last weekend of february, then two weeks of snow, then one week nice warm 8 degrees, then one week of snow, one week of 9 degrees, and again snow (10 cm). Happy to see you again on the road in your backyard.

The background music has brought back a few great memories too! Brilliant video, recently been out on the same roads around Perthshire. We are so lucky to have these fantastic roads and scenery for biking. Had my heated waistcoat on, makes such a difference. Great viewing, very enjoyable. 👌👌

Great video, as always. You are indeed, very lucky, here in Midlothian, there's not much to do, staying within our local authority. Disappointed not to see your better half, although, I was pleasantly surprised to see her in a recent Scots Magazine. I saw Helen's pic, and thought, "I recognise her!", who knew!?! I do like to follow the route on Google Maps, and had to laugh as I struggled to keep up, and thought the RT pillion had fallen off at one point. Looking forward to this seasons escapades.
I got in my 1st ride of the season last week but then the snow returned - snowing now as I am watching this! When I seen you riding in the snow my butt cheeks clamped down on my chair! You handled that very well including knowing enough to turn back when you did. Thanks for sharing the videos.

Know the feeling and the roads so well, 1 bike Oban to Glasgow and back on Wednesday for a service and then Friday back down to Glasgow on the naked loan bike to pick up my BMW K1600 after the new gearbox recall, so cold I kept everything on in the dealership except my helmet and never thawed out. At least the sun was shining, so it was bonnie Scotland!!

And as for Steve, last time he rode an RS, this time he was out and about on an RT and a GS, will he be on three different bikes in the next clip? Don;t think it was particularly high, maybe 1200-1500 feet, crazy weather at the moment though, was sunbathing today amongst fresh snow that fell yesterday! And yes, Steve does have a passion for buying bikes 😂😀🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍

Great Video didn’t expect to shed a tear though! A few years ago I lost a very good friend she was a captain for Scott air based in Edinburgh. She was only 36 when she left us 🙁 we put her ashes in Loch Rannoch and had a memorial bench put above the loch because it was her favourite place🙂

I thought Scotland would be more green, but the difference is we go brown in the summer from sunburn and you appear to do the same from frost-bite in the winter ! Why is it you have so many places in Scotland named after places in Australia ????

Great bike! I've got the same model. The rules are confusing,I live in Perthshire and we were doing my favourite loop up Loch Earn and down Loch Tay last week,,we got pulled over by a couple of police bikes at Loch Earn and advised about the rules. I thought like you that we could travel throughout Perthshire but that's not the case, it's your council area! Which would mean a run of about 6 miles!! Can't wait until the rules are lifted on the 26th April
They are confusing but we took it from the BBC that from the 2nd April you could travel within your local authority area. The top of Loch Earn I think is in Stirlingshire which may have been why you were stopped. 👮♂️🏍👍
@@travelsonmymotorbike we got stopped at St Fillans! The police were fine but they did say I should only be going approx 6 miles unless the journey was essential.i think England are different which is where things can get confusing!

I won't bore you with the technical details but it is very very hard to capture good clean audio from the engine, especially at speed, so the short answer is no haha 😜🏍🎶🏍
