Update: I mentioned in my video that I wasn't sure if the new Tactile Maverick model was having issues yet or not, turns out it already is...blade play, lock rock, lack of detent, scales flexing, free spinning thumb studs, etc
Mine is slicey tight and works like a champ. Tactile becoming my fav American Knife maker. Rockwall is the best gentleman's knife. Maverick is another omega spring/axis lock knife, and I don't do gimmicky. Yours is the only ones I've heard that were seemingly bad
I’m glad yours are good to go! I’ve spoken to probably a dozen people via DM’s, read several forum threads and watched close to a dozen videos on RUclips of people having all sorts of QC issues with Tactile. It seems like when they get their quality control right, their knives are great. But I’ve now had 4 knives from them (including the Rockwall, which also had a terrible edge) and all 4 had what I would consider unacceptable issues right from the factory, so I can’t recommend them in good conscience.
For the price of this new $199 that is really sad. I am always looking for US made knives because of the poor QC of Chinese made products. It is a shame, I hope this is no indication of the entire company and their QC.
I hope so too, but videos/comments I’m seeing about both the Rockwall and the Maverick are similar: lots of QC issues. Their pens I’ve heard are great and I actually have one on it’s way to me now so I can check out the sister company (Tactile Turn). It is sad though, I’d love to support them if they can get their act together.
Quality check and workforce work etics: The plague that is killing USAs industry. A well known problem for you here in Europe. I prefer Japanese or European maker over American. This is sad because USA used to be innovative and solid products.
I don't blame you for preferring European production at this point. Most well known American brands are surviving only because of the "only buy American" crowd. And they know they can get away with lower quality standards because of it
@@justified_edc It is sad that the american consumers have been "trained" to accept junk. I have seen to many times americans that don´t even understand what quality is. I hope you, as a people, manage to change this soon. TBH: "Made in USA" is a warning sign for many outside the states.

Can’t wait for the Erebus short review coming
Soon!
You’re the shit man. All facts.
I'm thinking of butchering a chicken with that
You probably won't be able to considering the knife won't cut worth shit
