yes that is right. that dark night is what I've just entered recently after a nice several month period of awakening and gaining of a higher level of consciousness and love, real love. so, this part is very hard for me and I think it is because that, in addition to being overflowing with so much unrequited and unending amount of love for everything everyone and for the one infinite creator, an equally matching amount of secretly known (apparently only to myself) EGO must now be overcome and die off. this is the challenge. this is why my periods of long crying spells, mixed with periods of a grand elation every single day, are leading me to seek the advice and treatment of a psychiatrist to monitor and perhaps change the small dosage medications I have taken for decades in order to stay "steady as she goes" as we say and to reduce the huge dips and valleys that happen when we feel true sadness that can so often lead to depression. Of course, the catalyst for this honest to goodness true expression of sadness began when I lost my Mother last October. That one huge loss triggered both the wonder and amazement of awakening AND the incredible sadness, loneliness and separation anxiety that I am now experiencing daily. It sounds to me that Aron is explaining to us here, that this is something we must all go through and experience fully and completely in order to overcome it and find true happiness and continue the process of awakening and the joy of catalyst and experience in this lifetime, in this 3rd density while moving towards 4th density and thereby, catching up with Mother Earth as she brings me along indeed, all of us along into the next density where she now thrives as this incredible wonderful living breathing and evolving sphere simply known as Earth. I want to personally say a huge thank you to Aron for his assistance with my awakening time and now, hopefully, with coping with my personal spiritual dark night. Once I became enamored with the Law of One through the original transcripts, my life has taken many wonderful twists and turns that now lead me closer to my inner being, my inner light, and inner and outer love to share with all of those I come in contact with, including through the miracle medium of RUclips to be able to enjoy the recordings of Aron Abke. Been through it, seemed like it was never gonna end but it did. (About a year for me, diff for diff people). Wouldn't have said it at the time but it was the "best thing that ever happened to me".
It's like you always know what people are going through and reading through the comments, I can see I am not alone. I had my awakening a few days before my 27th birthday and was in a state of meditation over the course of 3 days (i never meditate) .. those 3 days were an eternity in there ... The experience itself destroyed me ... a bad thing then but looking back, a necessary one ... I woke up and was lost for about 4 months after that ... Slowly though, I am climbing out ... or rather, God is helping me climb out and quiet my mind. Can confirm that all will be well ... for everyone ... hold steadfast to faith and remember, you are loved without bounds by the creator ... even despair has it's place in your life, for it exist to help you realize the distance from his love and divinity so that you may step off your path in this worthless life and chart a new one to him ... Namaste.

This is actually how I've been feeling for a few weeks. I get relief when I have a break and actually have a good day. It has felt like my inner voice has just been raging and such turmoil. So many insecurities that have been worked through coming to life.
I like how you break down shadow work in your shadow video. I had 2 major portions of enlightenment. One was saying i am powerful, second one faced me with my shadow, where i went into a deep analysis. And then i hit depression. Futility of aiming at anything. Whats the point of achieving when it doesnt cause pleasure from comparing myself to others. My inner drive went still. I felt like all my memory is gone and im being stripped from everything i thought i knew. Now all im aiming at is loving myself stripped down to my core and seeing what self love will generate. I am on my of last year psychology and going trough these stages of individuation has left me with my mouth open and thinking how the heck will i help someone get to know themselves, get out of depression theyre in without going beyond psychology. Spiritual awakening isnt a choice. When you hit depression it is the only way out of it. And it can lead to more depression before it gets to peace and most people will find it hard to face this. Consumerism is counting on us to avoid pain and depressed people avoid it the most even though it seems like its theyre natural habitat. Depression before awakening is cased by avoidance and after awakening is caused by letting go of conditioning and old identity. So where do you find your inner drive?
The best teacher on beliefs is physicist Tom Campbell. His “all beliefs block further insight” are the best words of wisdom I have ever incorporated into my being. I have learned to “hold” ideas instead of believing them (identifying with/attaching to them). If further information comes in to show me that a given idea no longer serves me, I can just stop holding it or I can modify it to fit the new information...because I haven’t identified with or attached myself to it. I have an ease of adapting to change and changing myself that I never had before. You don’t ever have to identify with any idea if you don’t want to. And the other thing that will happen by itself is that you stop trying to defend any idea you hold, no matter how much someone might criticize or argue against any idea. There is nothing to argue about or defend...and the buttons/triggers you once had slowly just fade away. Any time you no longer wish to hold an idea or concept because it no longer serves your experience, you simply let it go. This way of being also opens you up to new ideas and concepts in an amazing way. It’s as if all kinds of doors that were never available to you due to your beliefs are now open to you for exploration. It’s actually quite amazing. The Urantia Book has this to say on the subject: “All finite knowledge and creature understanding are relative. Information and intelligence, gleaned from even high sources, is only relatively complete, locally accurate, and personally true.”
I love this. My mind gets confused with all of this information and tries to "figure out" the "truth" and there is much information that seemingly contradicts itself. It makes me feel that I am a hamster on a wheel going nowhere but getting really tired. I like the idea of holding/entertaining ideas not beliefs. Even more than that, I just want to be and let all ideas and concepts go. I feel lighter after reading this. Thank you
I love this. I see how the ego wants to fight for survival . I more you work to heal the harder the ego fights. As you said you can seek but the ego doesnt want you to find. I do step into the fire and say to my ego you have no power over me. This will pass and it does. The peace I continue to seek is in God. God is in me and everything. Watched the video in the past but didn’t truly understand it till now when I searched for it again, after bouts of feeling not good enough, not able to still my mind long enough to find peace, missing those surreal spiritual experiences and finding myself depressed and even having suicidal thoughts although I know that I would have to redo my karmas again in another life if I did that and would NEVER want to hurt myself or my family like that…finding myself again in darker times in my life has been one of the most difficult things I’ve ever gone thru. All the thoughts of things I COULD do all at once makes me not decide on anything and I end up not doing anything I want to do. Beautiful 🙏 This video evoked more self-compassion for the experience I had during my dark night. It felt like a nightmare and I almost didn’t make it through. My friends and family didn’t understand (I didn’t either) and I was drinking/using during that time (and had mental breakdowns). Now I’m sober and I’ve done a lot of inner-healing and integration - and surrendering - and it’s amazing. A new level of peace and freedom. There is a raging storm in my mind for the past year and a few months. From the very beginning was really unsettling, panics and farfetched fears were constantly triggered. But now towards the end of 2021, somewhere around Sep everything became so intense. I was trying to cope with the emotional distress by running a marathon in the hopes that I will literally and metaphorically run away from the unexplainable suffering. But it didn't, I was so angry that I'm doing all the right things but still feel so miserable and frightened in regards to the demanding life. Never good enough... So Nov and Dec were the absolute bottom, I was feeling so tired from running, chasing, trying to figure out the 'formula' for peace and acceptance. Developed some unhealthy habits, and was feeling depressingly alone. And I broke down... yesterday, for the first time since childhood I turned to God and asked for help, and admitted that I can't deal with the complexity of life alone, that I cannot create myself. And honestly, I felt a connection that I haven't felt so far, and yet it was familiar. Thank you, Aaron, and thanks to everyone for sharing your stories it's really healing!
@Kareen Curry Thanks, it's been a journey. Looking back at this comment, turning to God wasn't something that lasted. In the month after I went to absolute despair, gave up all hopes for something to ever change and fell straight into the darkest fears. And for couple of weeks I was feeling dead, like something was dying inside me, but strangely every new day I was waking up and seeing that the world keeps spinning and it isn't ending as my fears made me believe. That complete giving up of hope was the thing that brought me new unexpected taste for life. Now I kind of understand why hope was placed in the Pandora's box :D I'm open for a chat, will be happy to hear how are you dealing with these experiences :)

I really need to thank you for this Aeron. Lately I have been thinking I was going mad. Like this division between ego-me and real me would last forever. Your movie gave me hope that it is temporary and that I in fact dont need to do anything - just let the fire burn till its all over. An eye of the storm I would say because most of time it is still pretty damn rough. I’m going onto my 4th year coming in October. The first 7 Months all of my spiritual gifts came alive! Since then it’s been a battle, just as Aaron said. The Angels have been with me and send me communication to stay positive and I feel that the end of the ego is near very soon. Stay strong and stay in touch with your guides, they are with you! Whats a great video, really helped Aaron, something I am going through and its only the fact that I am helped by my desire as you say to feel that feeling of peace or to be what I truly am all the time, how long this is going to take who knows but its something I find myself wanting to achieve however even writing I realise there is nothing to actually achieve but just being who I am and who I have always know I am, a feeling that I have never quite been able to put my finger on but is now all making sense and its a journey started that there is no coming back or turning away from!!! Beautiful 🙏 This video evoked more self-compassion for the experience I had during my dark night. It felt like a nightmare and I almost didn’t make it through. My friends and family didn’t understand (I didn’t either) and I was drinking/using during that time (and had mental breakdowns). Now I’m sober and I’ve done a lot of inner-healing and integration - and surrendering - and it’s amazing. A new level of peace and freedom. I’m so grateful for videos like these that helped me feel less alone on my journey and which gave me hope to keep going. I wish everyone love, compassion and blessings! I am so grateful to you Aaron for talking about this. There is a raging storm in my mind for the past year and a few months. From the very beginning was really unsettling, panics and farfetched fears were constantly triggered. But now towards the end of 2021, somewhere around Sep everything became so intense. I was trying to cope with the emotional distress by running a marathon in the hopes that I will literally and metaphorically run away from the unexplainable suffering. But it didn't, I was so angry that I'm doing all the right things but still feel so miserable and frightened in regards to the demanding life. Never good enough... So Nov and Dec were the absolute bottom, I was feeling so tired from running, chasing, trying to figure out the 'formula' for peace and acceptance. Developed some unhealthy habits, and was feeling depressingly alone. And I broke down... yesterday, for the first time since childhood I turned to God and asked for help, and admitted that I can't deal with the complexity of life alone, that I cannot create myself. And honestly, I felt a connection that I haven't felt so far, and yet it was familiar.

@Kareen Curry Thanks, it's been a journey. Looking back at this comment, turning to God wasn't something that lasted. In the month after I went to absolute despair, gave up all hopes for something to ever change and fell straight into the darkest fears. And for couple of weeks I was feeling dead, like something was dying inside me, but strangely every new day I was waking up and seeing that the world keeps spinning and it isn't ending as my fears made me believe. That complete giving up of hope was the thing that brought me new unexpected taste for life. Now I kind of understand why hope was placed in the Pandora's box :D

I really need to thank you for this Aeron. Lately I have been thinking I was going mad. Like this division between ego-me and real me would last forever. Your movie gave me hope that it is temporary and that I in fact dont need to do anything - just let the fire burn till its all over. I do have these moments you mentioned - like my mind gets quite for a moment and I see things as they are not how I perceive them. An eye of the storm I would say because most of time it is still pretty damn rough. However I already know that I've been looking for God, I've been looking for myself while these are indeed the same things and that the jurney has no distance. Thank you.

I’m going onto my 4th year coming in October. The first 7 Months all of my spiritual gifts came alive! Since then it’s been a battle, just as Aaron said. The Angels have been with me and send me communication to stay positive and I feel that the end of the ego is near very soon. Stay strong and stay in touch with your guides, they are with you! Whats a great video, really helped Aaron, something I am going through and its only the fact that I am helped by my desire as you say to feel that feeling of peace or to be what I truly am all the time, how long this is going to take who knows but its something I find myself wanting to achieve however even writing I realise there is nothing to actually achieve but just being who I am and who I have always know I am, a feeling that I have never quite been able to put my finger on but is now all making sense and its a journey started that there is no coming back or turning away from!!! It's been a couple of years for me now but Arron's description is spot on on my case . It unfolded the way it was supposed to for me, didn't know what what happening so just knowing that you're in the middle of "something by design" and you not just loosing your mind can have value.
