I applaud you for doing this, Ben! 👏☺️ I've done some travelling in my life but nothing compared to your adventures, mate! I must say, I've been enjoying your channel last few nights, each and every video. Call me sadistic, but I'd love to do this! I live by Colorado, and have done this in a Jeep while it was snowing in the mountains. This is way more extreme though. What an experience! That bridge was SUS!
That bridge was the original route only up to few years ago, till the extended u-bend. And, I'm sure the road was narrower, they must have widened a little.

You and you’re mate Ben were brave doing that. As I try and imagine, what if the driver had a flat tyre high up on those mountains, and he had to change the tyre. 😂
Not really a problem. There are a bunch of jeeps and all these drivers are friends with each other and always ready to help so flat tire is not really a problem!

I wouldn't do this purely because I'm not willing to put my life on the line trusting that shitty looking car and a driver you met 30 minutes ago and driving literally less than a half a metre away from certain death in a rocky unstable road
Any reason why the government did not develop this road to such a popular and beautiful tourist spot. If the govt. do some investment on this road, they can earn more revenue in just a few months by a increase in tourism
This road starts at Raikot Bridge, on the world-famous Karakorum highway, ahead of Chilas in Gilgit Baltistan region. It ends at Tattoo village. From here, there's a hike of around three hours to Fairy Meadows.
We (pathans/pashtoons) are no descendants of Alexander. We were always light skinned and then our fathers mated with the women of the army of Alexander and technically we exported our beauty to them since our men delivered their sperms and genes. We were always gorgeous regardless of the color of our skin.
Dangerous roads often lead to beautiful destinations..its worth the risk
This certainly was 🙏🏼
Did you go to kalash?
Unless of course you plummet to your death 💀
Fairy Meadows is crazy gorgeous. The drive, the trekking is all worth it!!
I bet camping down in the canyon is amazing. Quiet, peaceful, and see all of the stars.
@@benjismith593 it certainly is. Besides, fairy meadows is the gateway to Nanga Parbat base camp. It’s simply magical

Mate, glad to see you made it safe up there. That journey is not for the faint hearted and then comes the trek!
Looking forward to seeing the rest
