Nice to see Coach on a review. Dan and him are a nice team in this video. Always love Coach's commentary. Excellent behind the camera giving a play by play.
Your channel was the first I subscribed to Mark. The evolution is brilliant and the other muppets doing these reviews is so entertaining. Matt is very eloquent. Love Dans input to pieces. #armywin.
That loft is crazy! Almost two clubs difference. Dan great work doing Mark’s job. Coach great work doing Dan’s job. Everyone just moved up one spot. Lovely boys!!
Went and tested a multitude of irons today for around 3 hours at my local PGA store and I fell in love with these. Love the small top line and the smaller head compared to some of the other game improvement clubs and personally I love the way they feel off the face, even through a bad strike. Traded in my Cobra F6 combo set and ran away with a very slightly used set of these for $500 (before my trade-in). Very pleased and can't wait to hit the course!
How great was this review, little bits of info on screen as talking, a nice review with both having input. Time for you guys to take over I think! Great job boys
If I were new to the channel, I would’ve thought these two chaps had been running the show all along. Nice work! Good to know this channel is great even when Crossfield is away. A lot of potential for serious depth here.
Just Dan and the Coach doing a product review ?!?! It does feel like Christmas. Was fitted for these clubs. For me, there are awesome. Didnt like the G400. I also tried the new TM M5 ( for me dispersion was all over the place) and also the P790, as well as all the other popular clubs (JPX, AP 2/3, APEX...etc). I came back the G410. Reason I went with the G410 was ball control, and my dispersions was tight. I felt I didnt have to swing as hard with these clubs. I went into the club fitting with budget of $1200USD and still went with the G410.
Just been fitted for a set of these, I’m a 17 handicapper looking to come down and hopefully these will help, I’ve never been fitted for clubs before and I was amazed at the noticeable changes it made to ball flight and consistency of the shots. Great video and I love the channel 👍
I love this channel. Mark's videos helped me when I started golfing years ago and I love where the channel's at now. It's awesome that's it's not just Mark but the whole gang. Thanks for the videos!
This could have been on your channel Matt, you know, the YT channel iv'e subbed to for the last 5 years that has NO uploads........one day brah. Nice review boys
How lovely are this two boys? GREAT JOB guys! I love this channel so much! Such great content! I feal smarter by the end of each video! The knowledge that you all have and the simple and honest away that you comunicate is just impressive!
I have a fitting schedued for my 13 year old daughter next week really excited to see her give these a try as well less offset then most game improvement clubs, plus narrower sole may help her as she is slight in height and swing speed isn't as fast as some. Great review as always!! Nice to see coach's point of view!
Bring back Crossfield. It doesn’t feel right watching a Crossfield video without seeing the usual 8 thumbs down in the reviews😂😜😂😜 Great review guys😀👍👍
Nice review fellas. I'm thinking about this iron setup and this vlog was my first review stop. I'm approaching 70 and distance loss is getting critical. Currently gaming the Ping I500's and another 5-10 yds would be lovely.
Just got the complete G410 set as a gift from my wife. From the driver on down. Due to rain I haven’t had a chance to try them out. Going tomorrow and I’ll give an update. I will tell you this. With the Ping bag, woods, and irons, it was $2100.00 USD. Hope it was worth it. You have to love a wife that would get her husband a set of highly rated clubs. I’m a lucky man! 😊
Hit these today. Require almost no effort to get distance and pretty good numbers. Makes me wonder if I'll stay with the i200 range when I change irons again.
@@paddymckibbin3957 Depends on the fit. I seen significant improvement when I went from GMax to Apex to i200. Ball striking is only part of the game, and front to back distance control lead me to the set I'm playing now. Wedges from 150 in, finding fairways, shaving strokes from putting are where the gains will be made quickest.
+Mark Crossfield , So Dan Hendrickson and coach Locky, when you say "Game improvement irons", are you both saying that these will be suitable for mid to high handicappers? I currently use Adams V4 hybrids, because of their forgiveness. Your reply would be REALLY appreciated. Jonathan
One thing I always ask myself in these GI irons reviews is: if they have 5-6 iron loft, distance and spin numbers, is there some reason to say they have low spin because a 7-iron should spin more? What I see is you should treat that like a 5-6 iron because in the course you would use that when you use your 5-6 iron. Actually, if you see Dan's numbers, his distance is under his carry so on average the ball has actually rolled back after landing. That's quite some stopping power for a 5-6 iron loft!
I tested the 7 iron with 2 degrees down yesterday and boy did they fly. High flight.also hit a few off centre hits and still went straight so very forgiving. Only down side is there a bit chunky looking compared to my Callaway CF16.s which to me was off putting. If people don’t care for looks then these are perfect for the high to mid handicappers 7/10 for me.
Dan/Coach as you said these clubs lofts are nearer your 5 or 6 iron lofts so are the spin numbers consistent with your 5/6 irons? Why when testing don't you ignore the number on the bottom of the club and judge only on loft?
I get what you are saying about low spin fliers. Is there though a bunch of 4 times a year slicers that would benefit? You boys all play a soft draw or neutral
LOL... When the cat's away the mice shall play... Love it!!! More Coach and Dan please!!! Ping my hotness... Too much sizzle for me... but can't get enough sizzle from Henrik Danielsan and Coach!!! ;P
Thanks lads, great review as always and it is nice to hear a bit more of Coach's thoughts. Is this loft-strengthening and increased height a current trend in these sorts of irons now, or am I only just noticing it?
Best bang for your buck in late 2021. Just walked away with a like-new set I picked up from the original owner for 400 USD. I don't always like a GI iron, I think I learn more about ball striking from the bladier irons but these are such a bargain now that the G425 and i59 have come out, the market is flooded with G410, I'm seeing.
i know that when I hit these clubs they did look like the g400 but the way they had changed the Finnish and made the club smaller I was surprised how they performed. I really liked them very easy to hit and felt great. We’re the clubs that you were testing red dot wouldn’t that effect the strike if they were to flat and distort any spin readings etc?
bund440. How low do you think your handicap could drop before you would then decide to change from these clubs, say to a more “players” iron do you think?
Would you say that these are forgiving irons? I haven’t played much in years and have really wanted to start playing again. I have a old set that I took to the range and I have a lot to work on to say the least but the irons I have are over the hill and I’m looking to get a new set that I can regroup with and also build on as my game starts to come back and improve. I am definitely not an advanced player but I used to play decent and want to get back to where I was. Just wondering if you thought something like these would be a good set to start back with and try to get my game back on track. Thanks 🤙🏽
Good work boys. As much as you can with these vids you've thought about the type of shots you'd play and demonstrated them nicely. As for the clubs - these lofts are getting silly now.
Great review boys, makes a change not to have that Crossfield bloke trying to spoil the fun. I would like to see comparisons against clubs a few years old like G30’s. We can’t all afford to change clubs every year. How about a Vokey challenge. Pinch the old boys wedges while he’s abroad. Those new blue ones look worth a swing.
Totally agree. These reviews are great, but need some perspective on HOW much are these clubs and improvement on previous designs. I would have thought there are lots of people currently using G25s/G30s who are considering some newer clubs. They would be comparing these with what they already have.
So if the lofts are different and a 7 is playing like an old 5 or 6 would you then build your set say 6 -LW? And have a hybrid or rescue club for your longer shots?
Is it disloyal to like this so much? Cracking review boiz! Enjoyed the commentary and the footage... especially like the compare to the previous model. #morelikethis #armywin
So, if a 7iron goes 6 iron length and spins too low....would an 8 iron go same length as your 7 iron and spin the same?🤷🏼♂️ same as your 6 iron to this 7 iron
Coach, you said you gamed Cf16? I'm thinking of buying some to replace my XRs, would I lose a "lot" or just a "little" overall forgiveness? Can you tell me CF16 vs XR vs M4 pro and cons? Thx f AZ!
Considering the lower spin, yet higher ball flight, I wonder if this combination is the direction that PING has decided to go in, when it comes to their "game improvement" irons. The G700 has similar characteristics, lower spin but *towering* ball flight, and I've actually had the *5 Iron* (which, with the stronger loft, is actually more like a 4 iron) hit the green and back up a foot or two.
Loving coach's insight here as he's a spinnier striker to mark and dan👍 Gives a better all round perspective of the club's performance... Keep up the good work bruhs 🏌️♂️⛳ #forthearmy
Good work boys in the absence of the parfield - seems like a good set of irons that do the job and certainly lost the clunky Ping look although can't help feeling they're trying hard to look like my AP1s!!!!
Lockey really is a wizard with his video editing skills. Really some high end editing that often goes unappreciated.
Nice to see Coach on a review. Dan and him are a nice team in this video. Always love Coach's commentary. Excellent behind the camera giving a play by play.
Cheers, fellas. I really appreciate the 4 of you... I'm addicted to course vlogs over the long Canadian winter... Just watched Iceland...
Your channel was the first I subscribed to Mark. The evolution is brilliant and the other muppets doing these reviews is so entertaining. Matt is very eloquent. Love Dans input to pieces. #armywin.
Nice review with a twist! Lovely to see Dan and Coach hanging out!
That loft is crazy! Almost two clubs difference. Dan great work doing Mark’s job. Coach great work doing Dan’s job. Everyone just moved up one spot. Lovely boys!!
More coach and Dan vids please. Really good guys!

Love the distance Coach got on his divot from the rough...and in slow motion... enjoyed you lads!

Thanks I love the team I work with. Loads more to come.
Best Mark Crossfield review eva , Sack the other guy.
It's great to see the sods of grass flying after the ball in slow motion 😉👍keep up the great work lads.

Great to see coach back on reviews really enjoyed this vid
Well done boys. Who needs Gabby Parfield for reviews when we've got you two.
This could have been on your channel Matt, you know, the YT channel iv'e subbed to for the last 5 years that has NO uploads........one day brah. Nice review boys

Would be interested to see these up against the CF19's
Have just bought a gently used set of these, excited to put them in play!
well done guys , good to have coach doing a review instead of camera work.
What a Get time tonight watching you both. We need this a little more often when 'what his name' is off galavanting around America alone..
A Dan and Matt combo review 👍 nice
Good to see Coach in a review. Would love to see him mix in with Dan & Mark in future reviews! Great vid, cheers guys!
We will do bruh 👍👍
i was mesmerized by the slow mo flight of the large chunk of turf.. it landed gracefully
Bring back Crossfield. It doesn’t feel right watching a Crossfield video without seeing the usual 8 thumbs down in the reviews😂😜😂😜 Great review guys😀👍👍
"you've got that inside me" followed by "you've pounded that All the way there" 😂😂
Little bit of bonding going on when Marks away🤣🤣
Ohhhhh Leader!! You treat us! Very good semi solo in front of camera. Nice work you two! Good bats aswell!
Nice review fellas. I'm thinking about this iron setup and this vlog was my first review stop. I'm approaching 70 and distance loss is getting critical. Currently gaming the Ping I500's and another 5-10 yds would be lovely.
Great review lads and the club's seem to perform well.
Mark will be back soon and the three amigos will be together again
Both of you! Well done!
When’s the Dan & lockey channel coming to RUclips?
Chunky and color coding are not my thing. Great review with on course testing. Thanks guys !👍
Lovely looking clubs. Good review as usual.
Great summary, Dan. Great job on the vid by both of you.
They look great. Need a new set of irons. Loved the slow-mo of Matt's divot. Really lovely.
Great review guys, found that informative and enjoyable to watch. Go Army....
Just got the complete G410 set as a gift from my wife. From the driver on down. Due to rain I haven’t had a chance to try them out. Going tomorrow and I’ll give an update. I will tell you this. With the Ping bag, woods, and irons, it was $2100.00 USD. Hope it was worth it.

great review both technically & in presentation. A good dynamic between you two. More please. Thanks
More coming
Hit these today. Require almost no effort to get distance and pretty good numbers. Makes me wonder if I'll stay with the i200 range when I change irons again.
Ernie Mangus. Hi Ernie do you think these would help your handicap drop quicker than with the i500/i700 etc

Jonathan
I’m assuming Matt did the edit of this video which is awesome👍🏼 Great job guys!
Top review team carry on with this format
Gentlemen, you nailed this review. Would you say that irons are getting too much mass on the sole and back?
Great review and seems like good irons too. Have the G irons so not sure I'd switch but these seem pretty good. More Coach and Dan too
Im still playing the Ping G30 irons. I love them, give me everything I need, great height means I get a nice soft landing.
Great review, I'd like to see coach & Dan do some more together.

I’ll be giving these a go as soon as my local store gets them. Very eager.
Even the turfs go high, was expecting that one of coaches in the slo-mo to pull a little parachute
Dan + Coach got an immediate LIKE from me
I tested the 7 iron with 2 degrees down yesterday and boy did they fly.
High flight.also hit a few off centre hits and still went straight so very forgiving.

Quality. Really like the look of these. As a mid handicapper I’m in the market for some game improvers
Mark who?
Great review of Dan and coach good combo
I get what you are saying about low spin fliers. Is there though a bunch of 4 times a year slicers that would benefit? You boys all play a soft draw or neutral
Loved the pairing of Matt and Dan! Since most golfers leave the face open, I don't understand why Ping would reduce offset on these irons.
I enjoyed this video good looking clubs, coach with the win, a little bit cold, 35 to 40degrees in 🇦🇺
LOL... When the cat's away the mice shall play...
Love it!!! More Coach and Dan please!!! Ping my hotness... Too much sizzle for me... but can't get enough sizzle from Henrik Danielsan and Coach!!! ;P

Paddy McKibbin to be fair Paddy at my age (66) my handicap is going in the wrong direction, hoping these will help.
Trying to save up for these irons awesome review
Coach and Dan 👌
Please more vewiews like this

Great win Coach great club review one up for the army ⛳️🏌
Yes coach! Quality reviews gents
Brilliant chaps - great review.
This vid was so fun, so well edited, who needs Mark?? Ok, ok, I'm freaking joking.
Great video I’m waiting on mine , I’m excited to try them. Greg Ohio

I like the G410s and the P790s
#askdan Ping G410 vs G400 iron review. Would like to know what the differences between them are.
New Lockey clubs, last year was a struggle capt
Coach, you said you gamed Cf16? I'm thinking of buying some to replace my XRs, would I lose a "lot" or just a "little" overall forgiveness? Can you tell me CF16 vs XR vs M4 pro and cons? Thx f AZ!
So Dan, what spin do you get on your 30 degree iron? 6 or 7 stamped on the club doesn't matter does it?
Wow 🙈
Callaway Coach - how do these compare to Rouge Pro/Apex cf16?

Great review testing guys.
They did well didn’t they
Just picked these up for a steal. What should I expect?
Love to see G410 vs G400 to see what's the difference

Gives a better all round perspective of the club's performance...

Getting fitted on Monday 👍
Good work boys in the absence of the parfield - seems like a good set of irons that do the job and certainly lost the clunky Ping look although can't help feeling they're trying hard to look like my AP1s!!!!
Different look and feel to review nice clubs nice review guys 👍👍
How do you feel these compare to the i500?
Matt Beroth #AskDan 👍
Best review ever on this channel 😋😋😋
