Well made review! Thank you. Agree on so many points. Size difference for those who appreciate smaller phones, especially that the little screen size is not really felt daily. Besides the improved battery life and thermals I dont see much of an upgrade, plus I actually like the default pictures coming out of 15 pro.
@@jemeljsh 15 Pro was in my opinion a perfected 13 Pro which changed so much from the 12 and before. The 16 definitely feels like an [S] year and it doesn’t make any crazy differences in comparison to the 15 Pro. Appreciate the comment! I love seeing feedback that a video is made good or bad cause I put a lot of time and effort into into them so it’s always good to see that editing being acknowledged :)
@@IgorBrandt-s8e in the time since the device launched I haven’t had any overheating issues at all during normal use. I used it as a USB WEBcam once for a 3 hour stream and it got a little warm but nothing crazy and that’s a stressful use of the device
@@Xavierdredeuce in my 30 days of use I haven’t noticed anything better than the 15 Pro to be completely honest. That could be due to a variety of reasons like cell signal, app usage etc but yea I really wish it did have significantly better battery life

@@Mathew-vlogs nice! I realized last year that the new titanium phones scratch easily and show the silver underneath so it’s best to get natural titanium color for that reason alone and it looks really cool

I recently purchased the iPhone 16 Pro, and my screen-on time is around 4 hours since the last charge. The battery has dropped from 95% to 29%. Is this normal? I believe Apple claims longer battery life. Any thoughts?
@@Mah-l4k9q judging by how much percent you have left, I would say you’re in the normal ballpark range, I feel like the battery getting bigger and the optimizations from the new chip should have us at around seven hours of screen on time minimum, but that doesn’t appear to be the case
@@jaytee5773 Most of the time it’s the 1st gen iPhone SE, but it’s not really for “months” it’s only for a few weeks to about 1 month tops. The iPhone SE surprisingly still works great and although isn’t on the latest software anymore it did have the latest software for a LONG time
Pro tip: turn the iPhone so the camera control is on the bottom - take the pic with your thumb and the phone no longer jiggles when pressing the camera control button.
i’ve tried that but it’s still super awkward for me to hold like that. Not sure if it has to do with the size of my hands or something else but anyway I try to take a photo with the button it’s always really awkward for some reason

@@artfartzy from what i’ve seen apple usually has 2 back to back very similar devices before they change anything (think of like the 12 mini and 13 mini, even tho the 12 mini didn’t sell too well the 13 mini was already in production before they realized that the 12 did bad) iPhone 18 will probably be the phone that apple makes any changes in regards to the Camera Control

I thought the same but when I put it on a tripod the button gets blocked by the tripod :( there’s like a tiny tiny piece available that you can press with a finger nail maybe but it’s not a great experience
@@red2432 i’ve never seen anyone get 10 to 11 hours, most of the time people say this is with charging there phones throughout the day as well they just go by what the battery section tells them. If he is getting 11 hrs than he has the greatest iPhone ever created aha
@@KevinGannets Yes the battery section doesnt account for when you charged the phone, so if you charge it during the day and then use it some more before midnight and the new day you are going to see a higher on screen time number. Would be nice if it would reset whenever the phone was charged to say 100% so that it was easier to monitor how many hours you got on a full charge. I think mine said 13 hours on screen time the other day, I have the 16 pm. But sometimes I use it a lot during the night and then I charge it late at night or early morning before going to bed, sometimes I wait till I wake up. So those hours from the past night will show as on screen time for that day because it was after midnight. So it's a bit misleading cause it was charged during this time, so the 13 hours on screen time is not from one charge only.
I was gonna go with the iPhone 16 pro, but I went with the plus instead. With 256gb, great battery, great cameras etc.. I’m happy with it.

The only big upgrade about the 16 pro is the battery is significantly better
