Vladimir Putin has thanked Xi Jinping for China’s initiatives to resolve the Ukraine conflict at a Beijing summit where the Chinese leader said he hopes Europe will return to peace and stability soon.
China last year offered a broad plan for peace outlining general principles for ending the war in Ukraine.

Regardless if it's 'strategic importance' he could still simply withdraw and 'resolve' this war at any time; ge just chooses not to. He can't just take a country because he wants it, certainly not without a lot of blood being spilled, which it is.

The only truthful solution to the war raged on Ukraine by Rusisia is to withdraw back to their old borders apologise for all the death and destruction and make reparations until all hurt or killed are able to get on with their lives without fear/ As for China, west should put a total boycott on all chinese goods and declare Taiwan is accepted as an independent nation.
