Yikes, the guy that confronted the bad guy - that was close. I'm sure the good guy wasn't armed, so thankfully he wasn't shot. That being said, I am thankful the Deputy was not killed. K9 folks have to stay in shape because their partner will drag them all over the place - they have to jump fences, run long distances, go into unfamiliar and very dark places - backyards, woods, etc. What a foolish bad guy.
