@Luiangelo Montes Will add Baylor to the list! In the meantime, make sure to check our guide on Baylor: www.shemmassianconsulting.com/blog/baylor-college-of-medicine
I’m going to be a freshman in college this fall and after getting super sick my sr year of high school and taking a gap year I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about my future and I’ve always loved medicine but never seriously considered it as a career till recently. I’m not sure where in peds but I do know I want to be some sort of peds sub specialist and Perelman has the best peds program because of there ties to chop. As a sick kid would it be to my advantage to mention I grew up being treated in chop + penn or would that work against me. A lot of my current and former drs are professors there.
It could be valuable, especially if you get very clear on the message. In other words, hone in *why* it's important to share that info, such as what you observed about your care and how you have channeled that to serve others.
I was thinking about the research and how I want to do research on cancer; once I was thinking about that she motioned it and I was like 0-0 (Im a sophomore in high school btw)
Ok? But how do we get accepted into the school? I didn't want to watch an ad.
Boom roasted
