The idea that a machine can replicate something that we've always been told requires heart and soul, even if it's still very human-in-loop ultimately, is cognitively dissonant to a lot of people. I don't really mind it, but I understand the psychological friction.

It's not like they have no idea who he is and aren't radically frothing about 'muh AI bad', they get excited whenever he releases something and lose their minds when they get a cameo, and some of them were even inspired to START vtubing because of his work (Normally Cream of the Slop). Heck, it's even inspired me, I'm in the process of organizing things. And he's featured THOSE vtubers even if they've only been at it for a month or so, the most recent example being Lord Intellectual. THEY love him, and that's all he needs to feel appreciated, he isn't going to be destroyed by big name vtubers not liking his work.

First, incredible work. I love all your videos and the music is peak. Big thank you to skyebrows for introducing me to all these awesome new V-tubers. I came in from Nux and now I have a lot of new content creators i get to check out. Nothing but love for the incredible craft level work.
So Skyebrows refined Pippa's reaction into a diss track targeting himself, while looking a bit more Ikari Gendo-ish than normal, turns it around with the power of living rent-free in other hearts, and we somehow end up with a reverse talk-no-jutsu.
It's not a redemption arc, it's a comprehension arc. Hope the punchline lands just right.
And "they're all just the same" in the penultimate line makes Pippa's viewpoint very understandable; trust and hope can be painful when you've lost them too many times, and we've all had enough examples in the last few years of people not being who we thought they were.
The tribe will survive, but sometimes you need a bit of extra help for joy to wander in.
