really like the Polaris line with one deal breaker: too large case size. there are plenty of case size variations in their Reverso line but only a 1mm difference within the Polaris line. somehow i would like to see 39/40mm options with their complications.
whilst it doesn't wear large I do agree it would be nice to see some variation!

@@laurentm1764 the trend is for smaller cases that dont look like Invictas or 80s Breitlings...not a fan of extra large cases = inelegant. But its a nice watch otherwise.

I would love to buy one, bit it's just too big honestly... I am super disappointed in the release. 40mm would have been perfect.
the movement is too out of date... tiny movement in such a large case and the price LOL

That calendar one is absolutely insane. I like the blue dial better but man if they do a grey dial with any accent but orange haha I’m 100% in!

Have that ratcheted the bezel action? The two issues I had with the previous versions of the Polaris was the bezel would move itself as was a smooth action. And the movement was way to small for the case size!!!
Agree with you. They need to have a ratchet bezel action.

This truely could be a one and done timepiece...
There are some things ppl talk about so much that you have to take a look and JLC has been a brand with alot of talk; I just have not connected with them yet and their offerings are sort of also not allowing me to get closer to them. The one thing that has really attracted me to them and keeps me coming back is the fact that they are known for haute horology but have this awesome rugged dive watch line.
However, when you take something as iconic and traditional as the Polaris and then stuff it with all kinds of complications, it kind of becomes a dishonest way to sell more watches. Rolex never ruined the simplicity and cleanliness of the Sub, JLC need to make chages and preserve their dive watch heritage

Love that geographic but the lack of screw down crowns on a 10bar watch is a deal breaker for me.

My favorite watch brand agreed that gold with green dial is amazing to look at. I actually bought a Polaris online on eBay and unfortunately turned out to be a fake lol 😅 should have known as I got it for under five grand

42mm on the Polaris??? JLC is still asleep.
It appears that the inner timing bezel on the new Geographic model does not rotate, is that correct? Also, there's no way that adding that additional 100 meters of water resistance should add a full 2 mm to case height. Sorry JLC, but we're not buying that one. Admit it, you're using an unnecessarily chunky movement on the date model. But why?
