The pugilism leg lift seems like somewhat of a mix between an o soto gari(large outer reap) and a muay thai sweep that Jeff Chan uses. It's kind of cool that the physics from Examina's engine kind of make high level players discover principles we see in irl martial arts like HEMA or judo/muay thai, as in this case. Your elbow probably does damage since a lot of the damage in the game is physics based. It is most likely similar to how non attacks such as thrown buckets or fall damage works.
Been working on my pommel throw as well. Ive also found a way to hold my ltr/rtl long while body pushing and at the last second as the attack finishes, take a step back, if the blade is under their arm youll draw the blade down their side and cause red damage. Doesnt work against plate but if you're doing an adept-master valour its a great way to turn a failed attack into a bit of damage. Can we expect another "She is my sword" anytime?
There was one coffee diary where they used the phrase "complex verticality" and that got my juices flowing. I want lots of opportunities to kill dudes by pushing/throwing them off ledges and stairs.
This game is so hard to master, I had forgotten it really is a physics sandbox first and medieval fantasy second. With that the possibilities for moves are endless. I will re-install and see if I can't get the pommel strike down. :D
